      idea for the 7 highly effective player habits:
      -pin the minimap to say "defend this goal zone" when you know that the enemies are walking towards it. I always do it when I die at the 7:00 2nd base Eleki push. There is 4 angry enemies at top lane fighting vs Eleki, which will be their next move? Going all together to score in your top goal. It's frustrating to see CrisHeroes and Youmuus screaming at the screen when their teammates didn't go to defend... how are they supposed to know if you don't pin the minimap? Really our teammates cannot read our mind (sometimes not even the map)

    • @ledrew2370
      @ledrew2370 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Yes. YES. There’s literally nothing to gain by making pushes on the enemy’s side of the map between the 2-3 minute mark.
      Let’s say all four of your goals have been destroyed and all four of there’s are still up. There’s no reason to go for a score in this situation. You’re potentially taking away a closer score point for more immobile or squishy Pokémon, and there’s no way you can get points back fast enough. The only thing people should be doing during that time is farming, defending goals, or taking position/getting vision in the Rayqauza pit.

    I think on the issue of staying in the jungle, the issue for a lot of players (myself included at times) is not knowing when to pull out of a lane fight. Sometimes that lane gets busy and stays busy, and it’s hard to know if you’re supposed to just pull out and leave them to their own devices, or try to fight through it despite the time it’s taking up to do. Just a thought, I can’t speak for everyone.

    • @chronotrigger6746
      @chronotrigger6746 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      My general answer is to leave them to their own devices. I prefer to clear first birds at 8:50 and be back at my jungle at respawn. I might spare a second or 2 to score (if I have attack weight) or pick up a kill, but besides that I ping retreat and leave. The benefit to being over leveled outweighs a few early game kills or even losing a couple teammates who want to overextend. In later rotations, it's more or less the same unless there is an objective and/or an easy chance to break a goal.
      It's all about risk/reward. Would I prefer guaranteed, safe jungle xp+buffs or risky kills of the enemy team? I'll go with kills I have a good chance to get and quickly, but if the risk doesn't outweigh the benefit, I go with the safer choice and set us up for a winning late game.

    • @Zango25
      @Zango25 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hmm if I'm doing center I'd clear up to most of my center and help whoever is struggling. If I get a k.o great back to center full clear. I take a trade sweet back to center full clear rinse repeat.

    • @chaserucker604
      @chaserucker604 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      I think this is where it come down to personal judgement ability and skill. Not everything in this game is set in stone, you need to be flexible. Sometimes staying in a lane for an extra 15 seconds will let your allies gain a couple of levels and stack their items. Sometimes it won’t. It’s an judgement ability

    • @StManco
      @StManco ปีที่แล้ว +4

      It applies to farming in general. You get into a fight, enemies keep coming, you stay in that zone and you don't know if you can go back and farm or hold your position and it's horrible

    • @Zango25
      @Zango25 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@StManco You can only fight for so long in lane. In my center games i run the high risk of my laner's taxing my center. So i help who ever has the enemies at there goal for more then 3 seconds, fight them off get which ever lane some exp, then back to center. I go for trades in the lane i see the enemy center, cant have a 3 man push to goal. If enemy center stays in lane for to long, i just walk away and take there center. At that point the best way to help my team is leave some exp for who is getting screwed over and take away from someone over staying.

  • @LetThemEatCakeDX
    @LetThemEatCakeDX ปีที่แล้ว +19

    People spamming thanks and surrender votes the moment anything goes wrong really is a problem though. Aside from lowering team morale and being distracting, especially for players that might have trouble multitasking, "Thanks!" frequently overwrites actual communications to gather and do something together as a team. I've shown up to too many Rayquazas calling to gather, only for people to not show up because someone is just SO THANKFUL they get to farm birds or something at the 2 min mark.
    It's not JUST "innocent trolling." It's the habit of a player that tilts and plays poorly on a consistent basis at the slightest sign of adversity, a defeatist who gives up on trying to find solutions and blames other people for their own failures by default. They continue to repeat the same mistakes that put them in that losing situation because they don't see themselves as responsible. It's always someone else's fault and they'll make sure you know it by trying to drag the rest of the team down to their level.

      I mean, I got a pretty short fuze in this game. But my pings are not useless. Frequently get pinged personally by people who I thought before were unreliable, allready marked them as possibly not even being a teammate and suddennly I get spampinged as if its my fault that I dont trust them and not theirs for selling me out several times for minor benefits for themselves in the beginning when we laned together.

    • @aadi7448
      @aadi7448 ปีที่แล้ว

      One classic is when 3-4 people don’t show up at Lecki cause they all wanted to either steal jungle or die to bot lane. And then they gather at 1 objective in the entire game, and ping you the rest of your game for not being their. Some people are really irrational.

    Something I also see people do quite often is refusing to take some time off to farm when they fall behind. Sometimes there's those people who get stuck on their evo border but refuse to take out the smallest most microscopic farm to progress in levels and end up feeding against enemies 3 levels above them.

  • @KamakazeTaco

    I think another big issue is ignoring the swablus and indeedee that both teams fight over for an advantage and instead focusing on the bunnelby you could easily get after. You literally get more exp from fighting AND you steal enemy perks. The buffs you get from jungle can be stolen if you kill whoever has them. So after you reach a capable level you should be going lanes and objectives. NO REASON TO FARM ALL GAME.

    I’m going to share one that’s role specific, and it’s tank players who won’t get vision for their back line and instead get behind them when engaging the enemy team. It’s literally your job to be a meat shield and give your back line openings with CC. You defeat the whole purpose of the Pokémon you’re playing by bailing out and getting behind your carries.

    I can’t speak for others but personally, when I jungle, the lanes can’t seem to hold it down, so I’m often stuck in a lane just fighting continuously. If I walk away to do my buffs I get spammed thanks for abandoning them, lose lose!

    In theory you should pay attention to teammates needing the exp as much as you do (or even more). But a problem with this is, that's also a skill that implies you know what your teammates' Pokemon need to be effective. Matchup knowledge isn't exactly obvious if you're not used to the Pokemon.
    However, that's why I say it's good to be respectful by knowing that other people can want the same thing as you: That big W. And that Bunnelby.
    In the end, I'd suggest that stepping away from the "carry" mindset can make you a wiser player in the long term. I'd even go as far to say it can help your mentality when games don't go in your favor!

    • @FenrirWolf42

    Yesterday there was a match I played that kinda pissed me off lol. So we had a lead by like 200 points, and there was a Blissey on our team who would idle for a few minutes in base or somewhere on the map. They also didn't heal or help their teammates, 5 seconds before Ray spawned, me and the other 3 of my teammates went to the central area. I scrolled over to see where our Blissey was and they were FARMING a bunch of birds by our GOAL ZONE. Not once did they show up to Ray when we needed them to, instead they decided to score their 20 points the got from those birds. So we lost Ray cause we all got knocked out and our Blissey didn't bother to help or heal any of us, I reported them after that match for intentionally helping the enemy team and not helping teammates. If you're going to score in the final 2 minutes do so when the rest of your teammates are alive and at the objective and if 4+ people on the enemy team are down, after that quickly go back to the objective to help out if necessary and pick up more points to score if you guys got Ray. Another mistake I see people making in the final 2 minutes is not teleporting back to base after them and their teammates scored when they got Ray. The classic move the enemy team loves to use is going to our base, behind our backs to score their points as their final attempt to possibly win the match. To stop them teleport back to base with the rest of your teammates to defend your goal zones. When you don't do this the chances of winning are quite slim.

      Thats not always the case. One time where your unite is the most important is the last regi(ice, steel, rock) before Ray. Why? Because it's going to win you that fight more often than not. Even if you lose Ray that buff will help you burst rays shield buff. It's the most slept on objective in the game.

    All this is so effective when you have a completely 5 team mate in standard most importantly in Ranked. But when you are in solo queue all of the effective facts are completely gone but sometimes even you’re solo there is a lucky chance that all the random queue can communicate by adjusting each player in any situation. At the end Solo is very difficult tbh you hopes is always 50/50 win or loose and you can’t expect it will happen exactly what the way you wanted. All this 7 ineffective habits are facts 😊.

Pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls just defend the end two goal zones so they can't score. They don't need to die just destroy their shields and stop them from scoring. This second part is even more important. So please listen. Now if you have the enemy scoring after they get Rayquaza just let them destroy the end two goal zones and stop them from scoring in the middle. 3/5 Pokemon can still score 100 points each. So stop them from scoring in the middle.

I haven’t been playing a lot of ranked the last few seasons since it has been so horrible for solo q, but I played one today because I had several missions for participating in a ranked match. I had a Larvitar in my lane that just kept running right into the enemy team and dying immediately even when they were level 4.999999 and just needed to kill one wild Pokémon to level up, I also had a Venusaur who kept stealing my farm when I was super close to evolving and throughout most of the match, and we had a small lead when Rayquaza spawned so naturally my team started attacking it right away and surprise the other team stole it and no one on my team defended our goals and we lost.

    What works in standard and premasters does not necessarily work at high level masters. I'm specifically talking about items and certain playstyles.
    Figuring this out is when someone actually begins to up their winrate.
    If you are losing don't keep trying what's not working. There is a distinct difference between a losing streak, and losing 10% of your winrate(with a specific mon) over tens of games.
    I've had had winrates drop from 70% or 65% down to the mid 50s before i figured this one out.

    A few questions: 1, what about if there is no pressure on Ray, you have all 5 members of your team hiding in bushes at Ray…meanwhile the other team knows what you’re doing so they send one top and one bottom to score in the tier 2 goals that aren’t as easy to get to from Ray? In those moments they are more than likely going to at least get one if not both of those scores.
    *My answer to that that I think a big voice like you should tell people is make sure at least 1 person stays in the top bushes and 1 in lower bushes to be able to rush back to goals if needed and it wouldn’t hurt to have your eject button or x speed available for that.
    (I forgot my other question I’ll make a separate comment for it)

    • @joystickpolitics
      @joystickpolitics ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think in a scenario like this, it's more effective to just bumb rush ray with your squad of 5 then to divide your selves into chasing down 2 team members who are really just a distraction. If your whole team can score thats roughly 400-500 points + your attack damage lead which can equal to more points. I've been on a game where we made this mistake and chased down a player who was back capping and all that did was just ensure the other team had more numbers to take on Ray. Sure we got the kill of the back capper but the game was thrown in the process. Ray just gives you too much resources to abandon it over 100-200 points .

    • @Runmindrun
      @Runmindrun ปีที่แล้ว

      @@joystickpolitics in most of the soloq matches I play in when my teammates see it 1 or 2 of them immediately try to respond by scoring themselves and they did 95% of the time then we are outnumbered for about 20 seconds and unless I have dura it’s a coin flip on who gets Ray. Your answer is something I will keep in mind when In end game scenarios but I hope my teammates all feel the same way.

    • @joystickpolitics
      @joystickpolitics ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Runmindrun back capping is essentially horrendously bad in solo qs. It's an highly effective technique if you are a pro but what I've seen is if your team is down up until Ray and they see a back capper some will divert their attention from Ray just to stop the 100-200 points and it's such a bad movie because your basically making a 50 /50 fight if skill level and player level are concerned and turning it into a 30/70 fight. Many games people are throwing it because they think it's slicker to run off and score 100 points..the problem is that player almost never makes it back in time to fight the team battle and by the time they do your team has already lost 1 or 2 players so they're coming back to a huge disadvantage. It's really best imo to focus on killing other players at Ray but unfortunately some people are so solo q minded they will throw a game just to pad out a MVP score .
