You nailed it! When I was listening to this song it reminded of another guitarist that I couldn't think of and it was Marco Sfogli! He is one of the underrated guitarist in the world and has the skill level with the most elite, like Joe Satriani, John Petrucci, and Andy Wood.
You nailed it. I find no matter how rotten a mood I may be in, just a few minutes of listening to this miracle of a musician can bring peace to the worst of inner turmoil. She is a true God-send, imho.
I know there is no such thing as "Best Guitarist on the Planet", but that's how Lari hits my ears every time I hear her play. Every...Single...Time! This, and all her music, is music for the Soul.
She is her generation's Jeff Beck. And by that, I dont mean she plays like Jeff Beck. I mean she plays things no one else does with musical structure that is missing from music. So, best guitarist on the planet is a fitting statement.
Anyone can play and shred but not many can play and write really good music. She never stops composing, that's why it gets so good. And have fun doing it
There are a lot of superhuman guitar players out there today, more than there ever have been before, but Lari is one of the very few who can pay superhuman AND sound tasteful and phenomenal with every note. She plays the kind of music that will inspire the next generation to pick up the instrument and innovate, just as I'm sure the guitar gods of the 70s and 80s inspired her. One of my favorite things about her is that she lets her music speak for itself, while most female guitarists really over-emphasize the fact that they're *female* guitarists, Lari doesn't make it a 'thing' because she doesn't need to, she's simply one of the best musicians on the planet who happens to play electric guitar and happens to be a woman. It's not easy today to avoid the trap of shoving your "intersectionality" down the audience's throat, and i salute Lari for completely avoiding that trap. She's a total class act!

I first saw her on TH-cam a year ago, and was instantly grabbed by her smooth but funky melodic playing, with awesome tone. I got her first album, but in my humble opinion, she has just jumped up a whole level with this new album.. it's one of the best guitar albums I have.. and I have a LOT of guitar albums 😁. It stuns me that it was tracked LIVE over only two days! Two freakin' days! Can't wait to she what she does next. IMO she deserves way more attention and subs. If she keeps putting out awesome music like this, she'll get them.
Lari's Music has life and energy in it , after working all day it's nice to come home and her songs can take my work stress headache away ....smooth and pretty , dear lady🙂
ALIVE AND LIVING can only be described as a breath of fresh air, There are those that can shred, stretch, bend notes and can run the fret board and they all sound the same. Nothing new! I’ve been following Lari for over a year now and I’m impressed with her continuing ability to surprise me with her understanding of tech usage and her coordination of her very talented hands. Her music structure is unique. My ears are always listening for something new and she’s hitting all the right notes. Looking forward to any new direction she may follow. Keep up
Okay... I have to listen to this song at least 20 times to begin absorbing everything that's been crammed into these four minutes. There's SO much detail and nuance. It sounds like a diamond that's been precisely cut in one thousand faces and then polished to perfection, to shine like the finest jewellery. Lari, it's so cool to witness your evolution... and just by the time your song finishes and I feel like floating in heaven, reality strikes and I am reminded I am in Rio because my neighbor is listening the worst possible carioca funk, as low as it can be. Time to listen this song the 21st time...

This is the track that introduced me to Lari, quickly putting her among my favourite guitar players on the planet! I love everything about her playing. Just magnificent.
Been coming back to this one a lot recently and I’m gonna just be Capt’n Obvious and say it. While Lari’s use of melodies, phrasing and tremolo are all so well executed what really makes it special is how her smile and presence makes the tune’s title so genuine.
Once again, this is absolutely stunning. Your writing style, playing, tones... everything. Even down to matching lipstick to guitar. I always get MJ and Prince vibes from the hooks.
