Mathis Castillo is a rookie member attempting to join the Crimson Fleet at the same time as the Starborn. He can be recruited as a crew member and companion after siding with the Crimson Fleet and completing the quest Legacy's End.

I wish I could get him without siding with the pirates. My character is on a redemption arc and is going to have a change of heart when I find just the right side quest to inspire me to turn to the light side. Who knows when that will be, but I'm sitting on that last quest in the chain until then. She's modeled after Vala in Stargate, so eventually she has to stop her thieving ways and help the good guys.

Hey Sista, I found a couple companion dudes you might be interested in. They are at Aggie's bar in Akila. The 'fighter' guy is named Lyle Brewer. The other was Ezekiel (in the back of the bar).

I’m not gon lie, it hurt having to “do the deed”. You really grow attached to characters in this game.
Up until that point I spent my entire run trying to take the Picard route and work things out with words.

You don't need to do vanguard quests for sysdef (crimson fleet) quests.... All you need is steel something in front of "police" and give up.

I want this companion so bad! And you get to recruit her before you have to decide to stay or leave the pirates, and she stays with you whatever choice you make!
