My wife has the C250 version with 140k on clock. Mechanicaly reliability has been spot on however drives seat 'leather' cracked badly and was replaced at 90k and sat nav screem failed which was expensive to repair. MPG on 250 closer to 40mpg. Id certainly recommend one. Overall very impressed with it.

Bought a C250D 4Matic at 50,000 miles. Drove 40,000 miles in 8 months around Europe from UK to Northern Sweden to Sicily and back. Faultless car. Only had one issue, ad blue tank injectors needed replacing after the liquid froze at -25 in Sweden. Cost about £800. Got it to 156MPH on the Autobahn.
Sold it eventually but I'm sure it would have run to 250k miles no problem.

100.000 miles is nothing for that car and engine.. I don't know why you're making such a fuss about it. In Germany, every other taxi with that engine has 500,000 miles+ and still drives normally
They’re good cars. Owned a 220d same as in the video for over 4 years 70k-115k miles. It was cheap to run and quite fast if the rear tyres gripped. Only issue I had was a crack in one of the coolant pipes which was a known fault. The replacement part doesn’t suffer the same issue due to a re-design allowing more flex in the pipe according to Mercedes. I’d own another one but maybe in estate 👍
Driving a 2012 GLK and the only problem is that the seat covering cracked on driver’s side. Totally solid SUV

Piano black console panel can be removed then hand buffed using a cut-n-polish auto wax as with milky headlight lenses.
For all that effort for it to mark again very easily, it would probably best to wrap it.
Got mine at 200k/km and 3 years later still a tank !! C250 estate 4matic .. basically it has every single option mercedes could possibly shove in it .. won't replace it anytime soon for anything
I’ve had my W205 C250 petrol for 9 years now, all in all it’s been reliable but road and wind noise are intrusive compared to my Lexus IS250 and the standard 19 inch wheels give a harsh ride

I don’t know why you count it in miles like you are Roman in AD27. Mine has done 187,000km on African roads, in gaborone botswana. I don’t even expect any issue for the next 100,000 km

Mine have just reached 100 000 english miles and the only thing that ive had to change is brake pads. Still in love with my car.

The automatic is No way near as good as the 220d

The reliability ratings for almost every country, BMW, Mercedes and Audi are some of the most unreliable cars on the road, MAINLY due to clueless people buying them based off their badge, financing them and not being able to maintain them as they should be, Lexus way better than any German car ever and will always be.

They always look brand new. That’s not the problem. The problem is the first repair is gonna cost you 5 grand. And it’s gonna come. Driving it for a day isn’t going to show that. Meanwhile my Mazda Miata is twice that mileage, twice as old and it’s just expected that nothing will break.

@Khoadin4120....the haters are Lexus owners. They always trying to compare their ugly imbalance poor handling Rx to Mercedes. MERCEDES are BUILT while LEXUS are Made. Lexus owners always boast Lexus can go 200k-300k as if Mercedes has never clogged that mileage. Put 10 yrr old Rx to 10yr Glk 350 and you can the Rx panels and beginning to crumble...rx looks very Tired after 10yrs
