And what about the edges of the new hole on the inside of the damper? Did you sanded it somehow? Can't recall from the top of my head if the piston moves over the bleeding hole (except during assembly). If not, then this might actually work. Otherwise there will be friction and damage to the piston seals. And... how does it ride?

I used a plumbing tool on the hole so it was smooth. It gets near but not to

Will the Grip2 damper topcap assy fit/work fit in a Grip damper? I know you will miss the hsr but besides that should I be ok?
My question is becourse my lsb says it won't work :-)

Ya, but you can’t find them, and you need to buy the knob. The knob is $30. The grip 2 compression assembly is $100, but no where to be found

Those burrs on the outside of that hole are nasty.. 2sec to fix that mess.
