    This is great. I know I've had projects in the past that would have been easier to adjust just the way I wanted this way.

    Very useful tutorial for saving time and effort in creating composites. Also useful info for passing from Ps to LrC again and saving to PC

    Thanks for showing this. No longer bringing images into PS as smart objects and then having to put them into layers. Now part of my workflow

    Your lightroom tutorials are very informative, useful, and helpful. I would also suggest to you for premiere rush tutorial which comes free with Adobe PS/lightroom plan. It has an unexplored potential and is easy to learn for the working still image photographers, giving the ability for video editing. There are no comprehensive tutorials on it as you have done on the lightroom. Adobe Premiere Rush needs a much clearer idea and detailed series of tutorials on TH-cam.

    My ability to open as layers in PS Beta was working and is no longer. I now get "The files could not be edited because Adobe Photoshop (Beta) could not be launched." seems like several others are having the same issue. If you or your followers have had the same a fixed, it sure would be helpful and make for a good tutorial. I get a lot from your tutorials, thanks for posting them

    Thank you! Now the problem that I have and I can’t find any solution to is when I’m done editing in photoshop and I want to quit or close photoshop the window pops us asking me save, don’t save, cancel. When I click on save photoshop opens up another window asking me where to safe and what format. I tried many variations and every time I save it the photo doesn’t go back to Lightroom. Not sure what am I missing here..

    Anybody know why when I ask an image in Lightroom to open in Photoshop, photoshop doesn’t open. The image is loaded in but I have to click on the Photoshop icon in the bar on my Mac?

    Great video. I use Bridge abn ACR. Will this work with them also? Would this process work with replacing a sky? Say you have a bird or a plane with a bald sky could you pick a sky photo then place the subject in it?
    Thanks,
    George H

      I haven't found a way to open a file from ACR to Photoshop as a Smart Layer.

    • @alandyer910
      @alandyer910 ปีที่แล้ว

      In Camera Raw, hit Shift Open to open the base image file into Photoshop as a smart object. Then return to Bridge and select the next image and use the Place command to open it into the same Photoshop file as the first image, and as a smart object in a layer above. Repeat for other elements you wish to add.

      @@alandyer910 Thanks Alan. Just wish you could open both up in ACR, make adjustments to both, then open both in Photoshop as smart layers without having to go back to Bridge.

    why are you using adobe profile instead of Fuji profile? I believe fuji color profiles are far better than adobe color, everyone has their own taste for sure, I just noted this with your edit.

  • @caskraker

    Nothing new here. And you don’t go back and forth, it is still not possible to edit a smart object in Lr. Photoshop still connects to ACR only.

    Nice feature…IF IT WORKS…but in PS2023 it DOES NOT WORK!

    I'm sorry to be so blunt, but your website is a "disaster"! Those aggressive banner ads and pop-ups are extremely annoying. I was interested in your Lightroom plug-ins but could not find them on the confusing website. Very unfortunate. Maybe you should reconsider your advertising concept, because it doesn't make a professional impression.
