- The L-1011 1/20th scale RC Model Airliner finally has the tail section attached, completing the fuselage.
Challenging parts of this build were the horizontal stabilizer which on the l1011 is a stabilator and the design and construction of the carbon fiber S-duct for engine number two.
This entire build has been designed using Fusion 360. the wooden parts are 3 mm Baltic birch plywood cut out using a laser CNC cutter.
The servos that articulate the rudder and stabilizer are from @FrSkyRClive
The 3D printed parts were printed using the @Raise3D Pro2 printer. all of the parts are printed out of nylon and composite nylon carbon fiber for strength and durability.
Great project! I’m so glad you chose to build the TriStar. It’s such an amazing aircraft
great progress
This is radical
The amount of work you've put in the project is amazing, truly inspiring work! I am also developing an RC vehicle, except it's a helicopter!
So glad you are back! More videos plz. No detail is too dull. The design/redesign too! It helps to see other scratch designers don't get it right the first time.
Awesome looking forward to next video
wow long time no see, looking absolutely amazing!
need more build videos
Love your videos. What CAD software are you using?
Not quite understanding your channel. I watched your video of the build begins a year ago. Then I saw the second video of the build then no more build videos. What happened. Those videos were excellent and couldn’t wait to watch the whole build. Now I just get a notice of a short video and the entire fuselage is built. Am I not looking in the right place for the actual build videos.
Is the stabiliser moving as trim or a whole control surface altogether?
wheres the wings
