Keep in mind intel had to create their own GPU architecture where as this card uses PowerVR architecture This company does have to develop it's own drivers though & it seems they're not very good at it, so they should probably go open source & see if a community develops
It's a shame there are no linux drivers, open source drivers for the community to work on, and more widespread motherboard compatibility. It has the hardware, but the company will be dead before the software reaches an optimal state. Even if it's chinese, which does bare a stigma due to software concerns, I think more options for the consumer and competition in the gpu space will definitely serve the tech industry as a whole more. On linux the lack of dx12 support could atleast be mitigated some with proton.
It is actually useless if they don't work hard through MESA drivers and Vulkan libraries because the paradox of those cards should be a better compatibility on Linux, via Proton layers which translates DirectX8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 with Vulkan API. They actually don't perform well in proprietary mode (real windows+directx12) and is equal to a scam in my opinion if they don't change this like in a month, right?
I am mostly curious about this because it is a potential competitor if they get it right. Granted this is mostly from the frustration that spawned around the GPU shortage the last 5 odd years, and seeing Intel finally put something physical out the door for people to use means there is potential as well. Will there be a updated review if they stick it out and update their drivers?
Yeah, true but those are the only drivers available currently. They only just recently started supporting DX11 in a driver update in august. I'm sure in the future they'll have a more optimized driver with DX12 support and games will run better
Interesting look at an obscure new PC of hardware, I'm a sucker for any content covering niche components, especially stuff we normally don't get to see in the West. Subscribed!
You can see that the card is using only around 18% of its shader cores in GTA V. Rainbow Six Siege used 10%! Shadow of the Tomb Raider only used 8% of the shader cores!! The card should be performing MUCH better than this. Could you double-check your drivers? Something went very wrong here. The performance in this video does not represent the true capabilities of the card.
They did it so quick because it's basically a powervr GPU under the hood. Still, the drivers are terrible. If they can improve the drivers enough it could see internal use in chinese organizations though. Thinking they will ever reach even early intel level is a pipe-dream.
Are you special? You're the huge fail, one look at the utilization and you can see its a driver issue. Plus this video is from a year ago, now it performs way better and performs similar to a RTX 3060. Do you research before judging Chinese products thinking they are scams. By the way mind you, it was made within JUST TWO YEARS, Nvidia and AMD have been around for decades. This is the biggest success in Chinese gaming hardware. Please go do you research before commenting on any video you clown. 🤡🤡🤡
China making more CPUs and GPUs is a godsend for consumers as it will drive down prices

I mean it was made within 2 years, the performance and looks is crazy for such a new card from them.
>30 fps in GTA V with only 15% utilisation of GPU
I'm taking wild guess, that it would kick out almost 200 fps if it was at 100%.
No, it has to do with the drivers
@@slaydog5102 Yeah pretty early drivers but great start from moore threads

Actually they have developed Linux driver on Ubuntu 20.04, and support OpenGL 4.0 and Vulkan 1.3, and DKMS.
@@yuanjiang5999 is it at a usable state at all? I figured with open source development it'll move along faster

Can you try and redo a test of this GPU in like 3 months once the company can release more driver updates?
update+1
On GTA you have half refresh enabled and that's why its pinned to 30fps when testing any card set vsync to off
You should come back to this gpu to see if there has been any improvements with drivers since its been a year
Looks like driver problems, with those specs it shouldn't perform that bad and during gameplay gpu is highly underutilized
yes i think so too

@gpuspecs honestly i hope they succeed, I'm fed up with these gpu prices and nvidia monopoly
that is true, the newest driver was delivered that make this graphic reaches the level of Gtx1650,. I think it will approach gtx1060 before next year.
sorry, it is MTT S80, not the S70
Rip 300 dollars
yeah man you can get a 3060 or a 7600 which are wayyyyyy better

waking up the dragon to breath out video cards down to earth is the best idea u.s policy makers has done for gamers lol

They are rolling out newer ones
Dies for these are manufactured with re-utilized old Japanese tooling and technology kinda a more modern way.
Its not wdym
I hope MTT succeeds.
Me too
Well we know drivers are terrible. Really underperforms for it's specs. Maybe it can atleast mine.
they have WAY better drivers now
Can you run 3Dmark?
Try a game that actually support this grafics card like genshin impact

Bro its not that simple. PowerVR is a Chinese company.
15 FPS and 340 dollars, seriously?
The GPU couldn't even beat the outdated GTX 1050 Ti
bro my buildin gpu gives more fps than this card
