I think after the aggressive Set 5 marketing, this game is going to absolutely blow up in the public eye. Anyone who is in the scene knows about Lorcana. I ask almost every guest at my job about Lorcana and the common people really don't know this game exists. Even big Disney fans don't know it exists yet. Once the marketing happens we can expect a huge blow up in the game. All angles will blow up. Prices, activity, sales, purchases, talk, news, events. It'll be HUGE to say the least. Cheers for everyone who is in this ride early. We will definitely be making gains soon. I mean, the games not even ONE year old.
I played in the Lorcana Challenge in Bochum, Germany. Last week, the organiser Fanfinty (previously known as "Tournament Center") sent an e-mail with a link to a survey about the Bochum Challenge. That e-mail also stated this: "There are less than 10% of DLC Bologna tickets available, make sure to pick up your tickets soon!" EDIT: Oh, and adding to that: As stated in the comments before, Italy is rather hard to travel to, and it's expensive to stay there. And I don't know how Lorcana is doing in Italy domestically, but I would assume it might be a bit less popular there still, than in other European countries, since Italian was not one of the initial languages. Italian cards are available since "Into the Inklands", set 1 and 2 have so far never been printed in Italian, afaik.
Glad you enjoyed opening packs in your videos. You had good luck. I did hear for the first two sets that it was harder to get Lorcana in Italy at local stores. Not sure how Lorcana has penetrated the market there enough
Its italy for Germany it was sold out real fast since most of us can go by car to the venue italy is not cheap to travel to or to just stay lorcana growing like crazy over here
Love that box long term - I think it displays well sealed, has unique cards, awesome characters, affordable, etc. Long-term its a great buy IMO. Plus from an opening perspective the packs plus the alt arts often are worth more than what you can buy it for!
I know a lot of people (including myself)love the artwork on them. Anyone can relate to at least one of the promo cards in the set.I bought 2 and opened 1. I am leaving 1 sealed permanently. I think slowly it will go up in price and without a limit. I know it was a once only drop and feel like people are sleeping on that fact.
@@CardboardKingdom played the main event today. Didn’t do that well, was playing an off-meta deck but I already knew that was going to happen. Was very fun and met lots of nice players from all corners of europe. Tomorrow I’ll be doing the side events, trying to get that foil playmat.

Seems the collection set will be sold at other locations, so I think it will be exclusive, but not as much as the set from 2022. Italy is more annoying to get to because of the Alps. It makes driving and trains a lot longer. Also Lille and Bochum were easy for anyone in central Europe. Also August is vacation month in France, Italy, and Germany. People have family vacations and lots of businesses just shut down for 2-4 weeks. So culturally August is a weird month.
Europeans have a very different culture when it comes to travel. Americans are willing to fly and travel from coast to coast where as Europeans are more likely just be willing to travel for 3-4 hours bij car. On top of that I think the popularity is stronger in westers and maybe northern countries. Making Italy to far for most.
I’ve seen a sentiment going around that only the first wave boxes from the First Chapter are worth acquiring, you feel there’s any sense to that notion?
Anyone who say's this is overexposed to a product that they believed to be 1st edition and simply wasn't. The SECOND that box is opened the cards inside (apart from a few errata's) are the exact same value. First wave vs second wave First Chapter is the biggest lie in Lorcana.
I see the prize cards having value and selling well. But idk if the enchanted will raise in value. I see enchanteds continue to drop. Lorcana is soo player heavy which is cool. But again has almost nothing for the collectors. The price of the first chapter can be bought pretty cheap. Ppl are buying it to play the game. My fear especially without an online client what happens when people don’t want to play it anymore there are other games ppl want to try. The cards will crash because it’s mainly player base. We need serial number cards maybe signed cards. Limited editions rare different arts. Textured cards. To give ppl more to chase. I’m 65 percent sure about Lorcana. Compare to one piece Way better art. One piece is on set 7. Lorcana on set 5. Lorcana first chapter 219 and going down. One piece first chapter over 1000. I think the over printing and lack of substance and rarity for the collector. No online clients. Are things we need to see. Before we become full on Lorcana stans. I want Lorcana to be great. Ravensburger i doubt them a little.
I think the first chapter being at 1k+ this early would be very bad for the game, so many cards are still playable, we are not even a year in yet. There shouldn't be any sealed product over 1k after a year, that's a sign of poor print production and not meeting the demand. Collectors will come IMO, but the foundation has to be players. Only time will tell!
My family from Spain , Murcia where Carlos Alcaraz is from and 2024 euro cup champions. They are forced to learn English French or German in order to play. They are really sad that it’s not in European Spanish.

I am very anxious to see the set 5 marketing rotation, Lorcana is very much still in the dark. Very early days.
