I love your videos. I hope I win this for my son. 0:53
We still top load and always use padded envelopes for card over $20. You can’t use the padded envelopes with the low cost eBay Trading shipping option for cards under $20. Customers are always welcome to pay the higher shipping cost for the padded envelopes for any card.
Thanks for watching!
What is the name of your eBay store?
@jeepkemp1Most of the time they do stuff like this nobody gets anything. It's just a ploy to get people to like and subscribe, it'll make him more money than giving out a box of cards even if people do really won. Im not saying he is doing that, but never trust anyone, especially if they are trying to teach you how to scam.
This is a great way to build initial feedback, especially at the very beginning of a seller’s profile on eBay. The vast majority of my first few hundred feedbacks were on $5-$10 cards (with a few large sales sprinkled in). It really helps establish credibility, before you start selling more expensive items and getting a better return, because people trust you and know that you’re a good ebayer, good at packaging, freebies, etc. I make quite a bit of money off reputation alone.
Great info! Thanks for watching!
i would say first 200 sells try to give ppl free stuff i ask them what is there favorite team to collect right now and i throw in some rookies and inserts and usually a pack to rip(mostly old stuff but sometimes new) now i have a good following and tons of amazing reviews!!
@@username4755 same! I still do it when I can (or if someone spends $100s) but it has paid off, because I have tons of repeat customers looking to buy to resell. I sell everything for about 80% of comps, take offers and always ship for free. There’s still money to be made on eBay, but the blueprint has changed.
The people that are saying this is a waste of time, are looking for a quick buck, this guy is actually looking ahead and building something that will last. It's rare these days for a young person to have that kind of vision. Keep up the grind!
@@bigern182 Have you ever sold on eBay? It’s not east to establish yourself and a good reputation. I collect. But I also buy and re-sell to allow myself the ability to collect. It’s not 2020……unfortunately, some people have to sell to be able to collect. I applaud Wayne for his ability to continue to Rip…..but some people have to sell, to be able to buy again, it’s not a scam or some sort of Ponzi scheme…..some people want to rip and can’t afford it, at all. I know several of us, that just sell on eBay (other sites) just to be able to build a collection worth having. The main goal is to preserve something amazing. We aren’t all con artist/breaker schemes. The feedback does the talking.
It makes me happy to see so many people think this is a waste of time. Less market saturation. I do something similar across all items I resell.
4:17. The guy breathing heavy in the background: Hurry up before I poo my pants.😂
😂😂
Thanks for all the valuable information you give us!!
As a 42 year old with multiple sclerosis and fixed income with 100,00 sports card collection, you just tought me how to sell them
I like to squeeze as much value as I can get but the $1 cards do add up over time!
Ive sold hundreds of dollar cards. It adds up and it’s worth it.
for a first time seller Im looking for a lot of info i have a lot of inventory but all 1.00 cards its a lot of work for such little i enjoy it an speding the cards to those who like them. great info my man thank you.
This fella is right. Power Seller & Top Rated eBay seller here. For 1 you get to list more individual listing but you also get a ton more watchers per listing. Good advice boss
Thanks, be sure to watch today’s video when it releases at 10 Est. It’s a follow up to this video.
I thought about this too but was thrown off by International Shipping, but the way you explained it with a more expensive card and the oportunity to purchase a dollar card sounds like i have to do some more research, cheers for the info.
Thanks for watching, I posted a new video today on this also incase you did not see that one.
Any card is worth listing in my opinion, someone will eventually buy it at 99 cents, helps get your name out there, build feedback, and still a slight profit.
I’d find the same profit looking inside my pants for 2 minutes
Wich is half of the time it takes to post an item
I'm new to selling on EBAY and wat not. Thanks for the advice.
its fast too , common cards i just screenshot someone else's photos and click sell similar. Never got a complaint. Saves time . Those envelopes are too expensive, just use a top loader and penny sleeve with a business envelope. use painters tape over top loader so card doesn't slide out.
Overall, love the vid, but as someone who tries to stay under the 250 free limit on eBay (after that, I'd have to pay an insertion fee for every card thereafter, which I believe is $.35 per card), I generally don't waste any of my 250 limit on cards under $5. With the $1 cards, I would either send it to COMC or just donate them and write it off with Goodwill or Salvation Army. The time I save is worth more than that. But as others have said, I respect the hustle.
I appreciate you sharing your knowledge and experience!!!!
I like your wall card set up bro….👍👍👍
I like to be more organized
You do NOT make any money selling a card for under a dollar on ebay. The postage will cost you .63 cents, theirs a pay pal fee of .30 cents and then their is a 13.5% commission, so .135 cents add all that up and your spending $1.065 for the cost of shipping the card. Not including the cost of an envelope, top loader and penny sleeve to put the card in or the ink to print labels and invoices.
what are those white envelopes you ship those $1 cards and whats your full process of shipping including printing labels/shipping.. THANKS!
Very interesting system. I start all my auctions at 0.99 but I rarely do buy it now. I'm gonna try it now though
Thanks for the game you're spittin' in this video.
Your channel is pretty dope and knowledgeable thank you for helping others out keep up the great work . Have a Blessed holiday.
I'm a fairly new ebay seller, I appreciate the information
Looks like Ebay is slowing down a bit. I look at certain areas of what sold etc. And there's only a handful of buyers. And those handful of buyers should not govern what is the actual price of a given item
You Rock!!! But so soft spoken. Is it possible to record at higher volume?
Good stuff. Very helpful for me as I gather information to prepare to sell cards on eBay.
This is great because I’m trying to start selling cards as well
Respect the hustle 🥂
Very informative. Thank you.
Do you just sdd a stamp? Shipping is wild these days
Thanks for this video I was wondering this
I understand selling as many low dollar items to build up feedback but if you sell a card for $1 or less you are literally losing money and time, the cost of the stamp, envelope and seller fee would leave you with no money to be made
Well there is a $1.11 shipping cost that they pay on top of the $1 card. So it comes out to be about $2.11
I always figured that at least tryna sell basic cards would add up like Pennie’s…Righton good video…
Good to know
I just want to know where is a good place to buy those envelopes?
I normally use #6 envelopes with adhesive sticker donike licking envelopes off Amazon for single cards put in card saver and team bag had issues with cards being damaged shipping in top loaders
Could you make a video on how you do shipping for $1-2 cards please? I only do $5+ cards on eBay because I don't know how to ship the cards both safely and cheaply. For example, I have never shipped a card without a top loader. Even with PWE I use top loaders to be safe.
That’s a great idea, I will look into that because I don’t think most people use the eBay trading card shipping. There are lots of rules to it. You can still use a top loader using that solution.
Ship in an envelope between 2 pieces of cardboard. Done
Just regular #6 size envelopes are cheap anywhere
love you content. thanks for the info
I’m trying to open an eBay store this was helpful
Interesting!!!
I didnt realize these envelopes were an option. Thnaks!
Hi dude I love you videos ❤❤
Thank you I am trying to start my eBay business 🙏
Awesome, I plan on doing some other videos about ebay selling and we also do recap videos of what we sold. Be sure to sub, if you haven’t, so you don’t miss those.
Thanks for the video
Can you list witherspoon and jsn more seahawks cards and if you have any seahawks graded cards I would buy
Here’s our eBay you may be able to find some stuff you like and we could work out a deal. - www.ebay.com/str/waynecollection?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=3Q_4uT7VRTy&sssrc=3418065&ssuid=3Q_4uT7VRTy&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Thank you, good to know.
Good stuff! Love the insight love the hobby!!!
This is a good video for ppl that want to learn how to sell on eBay
Ive also started to list more one dollar cards on ebay! that is very good to know!
Nice vid! Keep doing what you’re doing bro! I will say, seems like you are spending too much on those huge cardboard envelopes to ship under the 3oz “eBay standard envelope” option. Why not just use a longer envelope (#10 500ct on Amazon ~5cents/envelope) to ship 2 cards top loaded, and ship more than 3 cards via “USPS ground advantage” in the bigger bubble wrap packages? Two chrome type cards ~55pt top loaded, wrapped and taped inside of a pice of printers paper is just under 2oz. Doing this should maximize your profits to where you are making closer to $1 per card. Hope you have a great New Year! Cheers!
I use ground advantage all the time for the higher dollar cards.
For the eBay standard envelope service using the #10, that kind of scares me that the cards would not arrive safely but that is an option.
Great videos
I’ve been listing .99 cent cards and below for awhile, it all helps pay the bills, some people don’t realize what it costs to ship out as well
Hahahhaha helps pays for the bills ??😂😂😂 Wow I didn’t realize the average eBay seller doesn’t know how to do basic math. Just do it 0.67 shipping label,0.30 listing fee then shipping supplies. Even if you charged 0.99 for shipping your time is really only worth the 60 cents you made lmao
@@Gotham3 I charge 1.99 shipping and start auction at .99 and drop as it doesn’t sell, and what’s so funny as far as paying the bills with the profit from the cards, it all adds up to a lot especially if you sell big cards
@@Gotham3 I do not charge .99 cents because most of my stuff is vintage from the 70s, but if you did the math, they will still profit after fees and supplies about $1.40 ish for each card, even more, if they order more than one card because there is no additional cost to ship the extra cards. If the seller pays $.63 cents for shipping, the profit goes to about $.75 cents. MAybe my math is wrong.
Now, if you are paying for an eBay store, a fancy scanner, and Card Dealer Pro, that's when you can go into the red if you do not sell a lot of cards. They are not making any money sitting in a box, so why not list them? You invest 30 seconds to list them once and do not have to think about them again because they just relist themselves until they sell. Most people will multi-task and list while watching TV, so there is no lost time involved in listing IMO.
I still don’t get it how am I making a profit that’s all about businesses like I understand in business you want to sell at what will sell but you have to make a profit to keep running your business
Profit is important but when starting out I found that building my community of supporters was more important and eBay has been part of that. Profits will come, just treat people right.
Thanks for your support!
@@WayneCollection-yk5rl yeah that’s a good point but what about using social media
Good video I'm going to be positing on ebay
Thanks for the great info, been wanting to sell my cards and this video helped a lot with the questions I had. Where can I get the envelopes that you showed in the video?
Here is a link to my Amazon page with the two different mailers that I have used. Thanks for watching!

AWESOME! W video! God bless! Merry Christmas!
Love your vids man!
Thanks for the video
Thanks for the tip.
Great info
That was some good info
Sweet! Good insight!
Great video. I do the same thing. I seem to have issues shipping items to Oakland, CA. They claim I done something wrong more than once.
Yes, I have had issue to CA areas also. There are post office employees not understanding the eBay shipping service and send it back or tell the customer they need to pay more for shipping.
Thanks for the video. When you ship for $1, you aren't getting tracking. Is that ever a problem? Like people saying they didn't get it. You have no Idea if that's true or not. Also, is there a delay in ebay paying you. Because they don't release the funds the item is delivered.
Actually not true. Ebay standard envelope for cards less than $20 has tracking. Also when you have an established account, Ebay manages payments and you have the option of daily release of funds once they have cleared. I get funds transferred to my bank in about 2 days after transaction completes, and my item is still en route to the customer. Only thing I hate about managed payments is your final value fee of 15 percent includes everything including taxes and shipping costs.
It does have tracking but I do notice some times cards arrive but tracking does not update. If someone says they did not get the card and tracking shows that also, I can file a eBay claim and they refund the item cost to me but not the shipping cost. When selling the card the dimensions of the package have to be under the required for the special trading card shipping and the weight has to be 3 oz or less and you will see the trading card shipping option available.
Good video. I am new to this and don't know jack about selling. Thanx
Suggestion: Put an affiliate link to the card envelope in your dscription.
Thanks for info
Great video
Nice tips thanks
I was given a box of baseball cards. Thanks for the suggestion. Very informative channel.
How about i send you my cards and you do it for me ...purdy please 😂, is that an option your potentially shooting for in the future?..great video as usual, been learning alot from your channel EVERY DAY🎉🎉🎉🎉...Happy Holidays 🎄☃️🎅🤶.... seriously tho email?
It would be cool to figure something out like that, no way to make enough money for the both of us at 60 cents a card profit 🤔
I would like to do some whatnot selling and probably sell some of the $1 cards in lots. That may work.
@@WayneCollection-yk5rlyessss you need to become a whatnot seller, it’s so fun
Great video😀 liked and subscribed ✌️
Love your videos
Unfortunately if you’re a Canadian seller and people in the states are buying your cards it’s gonna cost you $12 to ship one $.99 card over the border
You can get United States stamps for $1.30 to ship regular letter mail to the states I’ve done it many times
I hope you read this so I have a chance at winning that box because I have lost my 50 year old uncle to depression and grandfather and found out my best friend father who lives a cross the street was diagnosed with stage 4 uncureable cancer who is like a father to me. Cards have helped me through this tough time, and I love opening boxes the most, and I have the most fun when winning big cards. Thanks for the video.
Nice dude
New to the channel. Avid collector. Look forward to future videos as i catch up on your past ones. Keeping the hobby alive!
Thanks!! Glad you found me!
Thanks!
Helpful thanx
Sweet video
My time is worth more than 60 cents. About time to filter in going to USPS wasting gas and any returned items your lucky to break even. You might as well be creating mystery packs. Better yet, send them to COMC and let them do all the work.
What is the dollar amount that you stop listing them for .99?
I don't sell for under .99
I meant value of the card. Like 5, 10 and 20 dollars?
Might have to start doin this
Interesting idea!
Nice scan on your ebay store do you mind sharing what you use. Ignore these negative commnets and keep up the content. 👍
Let’s get that box
This is awesome
Love this. I’ve bought some cards for my PC off auctions for 99¢
Always look at the buyers inventory, card get really cheap when buying multiple $1 cards from the same seller! Thanks for watching!
Nice
I just started selling on eBay. This helps.
I sure appreciate for the information cuz I have a lot of cards that I want to put on eBay
Bro love the channel

Great video

Nice video! Looking to offload the dollar stuff myself
It adds up and hopefully they lead to some higher dollar sales!
