Im tempted to buy a softshell jacket but not sure about size. Someone should do a video of how to get correct size. I measured my chest but does that allow for jumper underneath or should i go up a size to allow for winter clothes?
one logo visible, not too big....I'm a fan of something a bit more invisible for a logo, like a dark grey on black, or light grey on white, etc. But this is much better than being a walking billboard.
Hello my friend! I was looking to get this jacket and a hoodie myself but couldn't figure the sizing. I'm 5ft 10in 160lbs with a chest of 40in. You showed a medium jacket which you mentioned felt a little big. With a small hoodie do you think this would be appropriate? Thanks in advance!

It has a rating of 10,000mm which is the industry consensus for bare minimum(pun intended) fully waterproof. The DWR is the important part. If the face fabric gets wet then the jacket no longer breaths and you’ll get wet from sweat. The seam sealing is also very important. 10,000mm means you can put it under 30 feet of water and it won’t leak or it could rain 30 feet in 24 hours and not leak.
Baerskin has reduced the price of all its products because buyers understand that a great rain jacket *needs* pit zips, which none of its jackets have. They are scrambling to offload everything before crashing.
What pullover/anorak jacket are you wearing at the beginning? Did you do a review of it?
It's a hill trek ventile smock , very good
@@RedBranchBushcraft Thanks... looks awesome! Watched your videos on this smock, nice job.
@wayland702 it's really nice,super expensive though

@@adams1621 I'm a 39 inch chest , 5 foot 7 inches tall, medium fits me and allows layers

logo. still too big (for this price) - nothing against a small, decent one; but does it have to be so placative?
This is better than the last one
@@RedBranchBushcraft well that's true
