You can play the test phase this weekend by going to store.steampowered.com/app/1605850/ZeroSpace/#game_area_purchase . The Co-op map I played was called " Advance map", it is my favourite out of the three currently available ones. (Blockade map was fine, hillside map was a bit meh imo). I p
I have a complaint regarding the shooting projectiles looking all same for different units. The rifles and Atlas mech unit shoot the same projectiles. It makes the fights less enjoyable to watch and messy. Makes you feel like watching C&C RTS game. Can we not have diff projectiles? at least some little variation because they certainly are shooting from diff weapons. Thanks
Nah ZeroSpace may be more polished but its barely a full rts game, considering you have almost zero eco management and macro is dumbed down significantly. Its closer to moba than to rts.
@@Liam.Lacoste WC3 has much more macro. You actually have decent number of workers, you need to manage how to collect resources, you have shop stuff, thats off the top of my head.
Getting a reward in the match itself for side objective was one of the first thing Grant told his mod makers to do for Nightmare, so really glad to see it here too.
They also have the unified command card that he's constantly praising when it shows up in mods, which is cool. If you told me at least some of the devs in this were active in the SC2 modding scene, I wouldn't be surprised at all.
05:00 - a "bit" easier? For a clunk like me that is a HUGE deal. It will surprise you how hard tabbing is for people like me - my control falls apart so fast, it's not funny. When there are 2 units in a group, ok. But when there are 4? It's over, I don't even try. When I cast all controls at the same time (like with Tycus in Coop!), it's very easy to use several spells. For me, this change is not a bit - it's the difference between: "I'll be able to use the abilites" and "I won't use the abilites at all"
Dang, this game actually looks really cool! I have mainly played StarCraft my whole life, and not a ton of other games, but this is certainly one that I am going to have to try. Thanks for making a video about it!
14:27 The guy that isn't interested in incomplete games played ZeroSpace for 10+ hours a day for 2 weeks straight... Alright, this game might have even more potential than I thought lol.
Those upgrades aren’t fully exclusive, just the ones to the left and right of each other. There’s just a bit of a UI bug right now so you couldn’t tell that you were already researching the upgrade
Purely based on visuals, this certainly looks more attractive than Stormgate. SG, esp the humans, just look like plastic toys. Unit recognition doesn't seem that bad either. Nice. Despite being a huge fan of C&C the visuals of Tempest Rising don't do it for me either. On a bigger scale strategies, Beyond All Reason and (hopefully upcoming) Sanctuary Shattered Sun do look fun. And somehow despite the scale BAR makes unit recognition quite easy. Simple unit design + consistent unit design language I suppose.

Damn, ZeroSpace continues to outshine Stormgate at every occation.

@@icewind-g4m So... WC3?
@@icewind-g4m I wonder how PvP is going to work when there is almost no macromanagement.
and stormgate is just stupified shitty sc2 as opposed to zerospace trying to do something

As a (small) backer of ZeroSpace, I am excited that you cover the game as well!
ZeroSpace look like its gonna be a pretty good game the most promising out of the 3 new big rts imo

This is the RTS with the most potential IMO, really looking forward to the future of this game.
until you try Tempest Rising

It looks so much better than before, holy cow.
Yes! Finally more ZeroSpace content!
Thank you Harstem! Just thought that it would be great to see updated ZeroSpace! Hope to see 1v1 also and learn more about races!
i used to play a very basic galaxy war game on an ancient mac. there was 50 star systems and it was probably impossible to win but I really loved it.
The galactic war map is hyper GPU intensive for what it is. Everything else seems fine.
I am loving the game so far!

I liked the older artstyle better...
The way the units move and shoot actually looks decent, way better than Stormgate's glacial ttk
1080p, not in 2025, bye
