Mr Lamma would you agree that making the drops of quest bosses like Blood Raven, The Smith, Griswold, etc. not so garbage will be a nice improvement incentivizing people to not just walk past them every time? I know as a speedrun player you almost never kill them but I feel like they are all quite iconic and deserve to have a bigger place in the game.
Almost perfect pala run. I can't think of many things that could have gone better at least in terms of gear other than getting better sceptre with the rolls..
i believe this isnt missing up, i think they put 6th dec on purpose to try stick d2 players in d2 and not go to poe2, and they think it will work, especially after todays rod's twitter kekw
Passive skill tree is probably the biggest barrier to entry for POE 1 and they made it an order of magnitude worse. There is no way make educated decisions on that board unless your playing it like its your job, so you are either shortsightedly put points in whatever seems OK in the moment, or following some guide you found online. None of these three options are fun to me. And now they are adding on the entry barrier of the complexity of a dozen overlapping end game systems. But there is no competition in the ARPG space so I guess they don't care.
The first time they showed PoE2 endgame, it already had the entire screen blowing up… the other classes didn’t have that, but it was weird to see the first one do exactly what they said they’ll avoid
To be perfectly honest, in order to blow screens up in PoE1 you need a very big time investment. Its not like you can get there in like a week of grinding. You will need high end items which if you only play SSF is extremely hard to obtain. I'm talking 400 hours of playtime minimum in no trade.
The GGG devs do seem very passionate and into what they have made, with that poe 1 was never for me, nothing about me ever hooked me. It had interesting ideas and mechanics but the game starting to mid way was never fun for me, ever. I tried over the years about 10+ times to start but never could capture my interest. However Poe 2 i feel like the devs did a lot still using poe 1 systems but updated but this second game looks amazing! They have my $30 for early access ans here is hoping ill get into it.

blizzard is really trying to stick it to the d2 fans... they must hate there game(s) Why would they pick this date!!!!?
Sounds like MrLlama is having trouble letting go of D2. Let's face it. D2 is now dead and D4 might take a while to die tho.
No way D4 is trash. D2 will outlast D4 hands down
Lame patchnote
The intern working on D2R probably went part time.
