Mainly I want to know if the response times are similar. Thanks for the great video.
Does the tcl R646 support VRR? It was kinda confusing in the video if both or only the C2 does. Also you are so right on these tvs can get used daily for 14hrs a day. Between the kids/wife/myself I wonder what the lifespan of the OLED actually are.
i own both of these TV’s. the TCL R6 is 55” and the LG C2 is 42”. the TCL i use as a console TV as it’s bigger and i don’t need accurate colors for gaming. the LG i use on my desk as a computer monitor as the color accuracy is insanity and i do a lot of media work. i love both TV’s and both are a solid choice.
I bought the 42 C2 although costs too much I needed it because it's the smallest 4k OLED with the best interior like processor etc and mainly because it super light weight and super thin, the only TV I've waited for my semi truck sleeper area. I've had TCL over 6 years and they are solid good quality for small price BUT after watching an LG OLED there's no other tv Samsung Sony etc that I was satisfied with. Only the LG OLED for me is like magic.
Reason why I got it to! it ost $900 for me at best buy for the same C2 (42 inch) model you mentioned at which i use $365 of Store credit of Best Buy to get that tv.
Dark room = OLED tv. Keep brightness down to help prevent burn in. Bright room = LED/LCD tv. The brighter display helps keeps the sun's glare down with no worries of burn in.
There is no beating OLED picture quality currently. Though top tier LEDs are getting very close. OLEDs like the C2 are the supreme TV in almost all areas. Lowest input lag, fastest response time, best picture quality, and a large number of features and capabilities. But with how expensive OLEDs are, it's understandable to go for an alternative. However, if you wait until the time of year when TVs are at their lowest prices, like November and Black Friday, the OLEDs are more tempting. Best time to get a TV is in November.
Got the LG C2 48 inch just yesterday no regrets. Didn't wanna get the cheaper tcl and end up wanting more. Lg C2 is the end game display for me... once you go oled no going back...
I got me a 55in C2. I wasn't quite satisfied with my previous TV. And I wanted a display that could do it all. OLED looks absolutely stunning. Especially in a dim room where the true black shines. Contrast is perfect. Color is vivid. Response time is amazing. And it gets plenty bright, bright enough to make me squint in a dim room when using HDR. And oh my, does HDR look AMAZING on it! And it is outstanding in a dark room. Zero hazy lifted black levels. It looks beautiful at all times. And it's capable of anything I could want. 4K 120hertz with VRR and Dolby Vision all at once. It truly is a king of kings when it comes to displays. I am completely and utterly satisfied. Now I won't be able to leave OLED.
Not sure what you mean by end game. The tv won’t last forever. Many will die after around 10 years of usage, some less. New panels come out too and get cheaper. I say no one should assume any tv they buy is an “end game” model, but instead buy for the greatest value / performance for the next 5-10 years of usage. If the tv is too expensive, you will be more reluctant to upgrade down the line as well.
I bought the 48 inch lg c3 yesterday... Next to my tcl r646 (55 inch) it was the same picture, except for the blacks which I can tweak on the tcl. I took the c3 back because why go smaller when it's nearly the same picture??

I’ve had my tcl series 4 4K for years and it’s been very reliable . Not the best but good for entry level 4K gaming. I was considering the lg but I’m not a hardcore gamer. I play occasionally

I bought the TCL 55R646 a little over a year ago. No regrets! Software updates have made it look even better, and it works great as a massive computer monitor and TV!
I was exactly deciding between these 2 models, budger or high end. In the end decided the budget 646 gives enough for the pricepoint, more so when upgrading from an old 720 LCD.

Came here to say the same thing , got my tcl Black Friday week , I've been contemplating switching over the lg C2. What I was already thinking got confirmed in this video. The C2 is technically a better tv but dollar for dollar the specs and the price point of the tcl series 6 can't be beat.
So I actually just bought a log oled c2 and I was coming from a tlc 6 series from 2020. I wanted the oled for perfect contrast and no black crush which it’s great at, but I mainly wanted full4k/120hz for ps5/series x. My tlc still could only do 1440p/120hz but no hdr sadly on Xbox. Honestly as perfect as contrast is I still perfer tlc and the blacks are damn close, it didn’t bloom some on subtitles and had some black crush but for the 600/700 dollar difference I am thinking of returning for a 4K/120hz new 6 series. Heard theirs even less crush and blooming than the 2020 model I had. The hdr pop on tlc was of the chain. Oled still pops but the tlc like hurt my eyes at times. Neither is a bad choice, it’s kinda which you want more, brighter hdr pop, or perfect black levels no crush. Both have good contrast but oled obviously comes on top but not by much. Greatest time to be in hifi/home theatre/TVs/gaming. It’s crazy how good of audio set up I have now would of cost like 5 grand or more for all my speakers instead of about 2k for everything
its stupid, but unfortunately my entire purchasing decision hinges on the fact that the LG C2 natively supports gsync! im using a TCL r635 and the gsync doesnt seem to be working correctly. not only this, but i need 3 2.1 ports for PC, and both consoles. i love TCL and it breaks my heart, but i may have to go to LG this time around
I've had my R646 replaced once due to screen discoring to green over a week. Now the new panel is discoloring to green 2 months later. I just bought the B2 because I'm tired of bad panels.
Just got my TCL and I cannot be happier. I have always only owned budget HDR displays but still enjoyed them. Decided to be a bit more spendy this time and get the 65 inch version for 1k from best buy and I really am stunned to see hoe good it looks. Waiting to get my 2.1 cable so I can enjoy resident evil 8 with HDR and high fps.
My preference is OLED for dark room. Huge benefit to mini LED is playing in super bright conditions OLED will take the cakes hands down in a dark room. Specifically for the blacks and vibrancy.
The 55" R646 is not $850. I bought one earlier this year when it first came out at $750 from Best Buy. Might be cheaper now. I returned it though because of noticeable pixels at close distance when gaming and slight blooming and grayish black.
Hi. Can you please check the exact distanse of 2 stands for lg42? Some says it's 720mm, some it's 710mm. Mayby because of their thickness...So can you tell the distance between middles of stands? I believe it should be 715mm or something. Thanks in advance!
@@DookieBrowns I got mine on Amazon. It was for the 4th of July sale and that price continued until Amazon prime day which was like the 12-13th if I’m not mistaken. I know at that point people were able to get at 796 but had to wait until September for delivery. I think everyone is mostly sold out of C1 48inch units now :(
For value the TCL is hard to beat. If you’re near windows at all the mini-led would be super bright at least while watching sports. OLED TVs might be crappier for reflections. For sports that would piss me off Cheers
@@MinimalisTech Thank you. Budget is not an issue but why spend more if you don't have to. I'm not the audio or video geek that can tell small differences. This seems like a good choice. Use Google too so that model seems the better choice.
The 65 inch TCL 65R646 is only $700 right now. I think I'm going to get it. I've had two different Samsung TVs that have both been nothing but crap. They looked amazing but one had the black screen of death and this one currently has a white ghost line coming from the bottom and going to almost the middle of the screen. I don't know if either can be fixed but I'm sure it won't be cheap.
You definitely didn't have the black level turned all the way up on those videos showing the contrast with the bottles on the r646. The black will literally be pitch black like the TV is off if you have the TV set correctly. I've never once seen gray on my r646 when it's supposed to be black. The black gets so deep it's insane.
The Roku R635 doesn’t support hdmi 2.1. So it’ll only do 4K 60hz. Where as the R646 google will have HDMI 2.1 with full VRR support Cheers thanks for watching
Just picked up a lg c2 from best buy for $1350 usd. 1450 after tax. Definitely glad I waited for the sale but I’m curious to see how much more it will drop for black friday
What about the software issues I've read about. Some people say that its been patched but I never had a glitchy tv, I just read about it and makes me nervous
Why would you get the puny 55s? I gave that same TV stand and it fits the 65 inch models perfectly. Shit, I'm considering ditching my 65 tcl for a 77 oled due to the cash back and insane price ($1500 minus $250 cb right now through best buy and capital one shopping)
Wait until the TV is on sale around 6 months after launch!!! Do not buy an OLED at full launch price! I got me a 55in C2 for $1300 recently. November is the best time to shop. I have big mirrors attached to my sliding closet around 6 feet away from my TV. is it better to get oled or lcd? worried that the light from the mitror ruin the experience with the oled
No matter how hard I try I can't go back to LED although the wife and I went out and bought a Pioneer LED tv for the bedroom for gaming ect. But the main room is my LG C1 OLED where it only does the movie and tv series thing. Once I went OLED though there was no turning back for me.
The Google interface is awesome. But I personally like Roku a little more. Much more simple design. I have both in my house. I'd rate 8.5/10 for Google and 9/10 for Roku. It's just neater/nicer, better organized, faster loading etc.
I just wanted to say I got the new 55 inch LG N I paid 800 for it at video only here in OREGON n its the best TV I've ever had for gaming it has Dolly vision, Dolby Atmos, HDR,HDR 10, HDR 10+, 120HRZ 4K @ 120 FPS, It's fully loaded best ever, has built-in surround sound for Dolly!! I gotta say best ever!!! Also it supports Alexa , or Google voice ! This T V is Amazing especially for the price!!
Thinking about buying an OLED but I am hesitating because of the low brightness and screen reflection. I currently have a Samsung QN95a which is super bright and could be a bit dimmer IMO.
I feel you! Honestly I was worried about that too, for the most part my C2 OLED definitely gets bright enough. I can't help but prefer the way it looks over my suuuuper bright TCL R646 which is a mini-LED. I'd say give any OLED a go, most places like Best Buy have a long return period right now anyways with the holidays, so could be worth trying and returning if it doesn't turn out as expected. Thanks for watching!
I´ve a LG OLED 55" thats almost 10 years old and its still amazing. The picture quality is still so good even though its not en 4 or 8 K television we have decided to wait to renew it until it breaks down
I wonder though, if money were not an issue, would you pick the C2 over the TCL. Either way, happy to use your link when I'm ready to make my purchase. I'm actually torn between the C2 and the Sony X90 Series.
Great video!! Was excited to pick one of these up. However, my 75r646 doesn't want to display any Amazon prime content in hdr. It's fine through my roku but the native app has poor resolution. Disney + is fine and I'm not sure Crave tv has any hdr content. any thoughts on resolving this?
Im getting lg c2 vs the world vibes. For anyone wonderful about the r646! This is thee best tv ive ever had in my life. The picture is amazing. The tv goes up to 144hz. The sound is incredible. Its like having stereo system in your living room. Google built into the tv. Got mine for $400 on sale. Even $600 is too low a bargin for this tv.
I bought the TCL model 2 weeks ago and had no rest since because this TV has had so many issues. The HDMI ports will not do anything above the HDMI MODE above 1.4 , when put on anything higher I get a erratic issues with nothing staying on Like my Nvidia Shield or Cable box they just go nuts . All connections have been verified by technicians here local after buy 3 brands of receivers Sony ,Yamaha, Onkyo which I thought in the beginning were the issue. After direct connection to these HDMI ports with individual independently connected to these ports same behavior is unreliable. TCL has become the worse support I have encountered in many years as they just pass the buck and run away from the issue. I am now replacing the TV !
Just checked for the TCL 55R646 on Amazon, price dropped down to $899 CAD. I'll just wait for black Friday, if the price stays same, I'll just order one
The processor & webos alone makes it so much more worth it. Better upscaling and smoother framerate is such a game changer. & that’s not even mentioning oled
Bout to get the tcl r646 as it is only $399 now. I know its considered older, but me upgrading to 120hz for gaming will be nice. Also, can’t beat that price!
I'm struggling with the fact of cost of c2 is it just clout? I'm mean specs are specs I'm starting to think the lg oled is just famous so the company takes advantage of that and charges more, same as bs apple phones!
Nice video, you made some good points. Reference the price and size comparison, the TCL 646 is a 2021 model and the C2 is a 2022 model, I think it would be better to compare the the 646 to the C1 (2021) model. They are much closer in price, for the 55 inch model.
Does exist in the UK :(. Depressing. I heard lots of folks get Hisense in the UK or LG C1s if it’s still available, they’re usually on sale now! The Hisense ones became available in the UK in 2021 I think. I’ll hopefully review one of them soon!
I will stick with my LG C1 with my Bose soundbar 600 and bass module 500 it’s perfect setup for anything I watch on it. I can’t wait to add the Bose surround speakers soon to complete my setup fully
Just bought the 77inch LG C2 for $2499 this TV is amazing the smoothness and quality I see in gaming is major improvement and I had the LG 65 inch CX which I never had burn in problems with
I have a c1 and a 646..c1 has best picture but...TCL is a way better deal but...don't think the TCL will stand the time and it's buggy as hell..I have to unplug all the time but...I do have it hooked to marantz eaRC and that's a different ball game...TCL as a PC monitor is awesome though and 75inch for $1200 is crazy good deal...I live in Florida and having the 48 inch c1 in bedroom is nice and cool...very little heat compared to 75 TCL 646 Google tv...nice review
These TVs are great but what *I* do is, I buy a mid-level TV that makes me happy and I wait for technology to advance SO MUCH that high end features today will be 1/2 price in the next year or 2. Then I buy an upgrade for cheap. I paid $500 for my TV and it is far superior to the top of the line TV from 5 years ago. It would've cost me over $2,000 5 years ago.
It’s one of those things that once you get used to OLED it’s hard to go back to. LCD/LED TV. You do notice the difference immediately. I’ve owned OLEDs since 2016 and until something better comes along I won’t be switching anytime soon.
100%. I have an OLED and when I see my parent's TV which is a QLED, the difference is immediately noticeable. You mentioned until something better comes along - that would be the QD-OLED. Every reviewer on TH-cam says it's leagues ahead of anything else on the market.
@@cun7us true, but I just spent too much money on two OLEDs the last year. So I’m probably waiting for micro-LED at this point which is a couple years away.
This really needs to be done on a case by case basis. For instance in my house we have a lot of natural light in the living room. This will negatively affect a less bright oled compared to the much brighter led. Further, if I'm not pitting these two against each other side by side I really wouldn't notice. Unless you're a real tv snob the tcl or a hisense would be more than enough tv.
Everyone who keeps saying OLED burn is a non-issue is wrong. LG are one of the worst offenders and after 3-4 years their panels have been shown to suffer burn in and green tint regularly. Last TV I had was an E7 from 2017 - lasted 3 years before the panel was completely shot through normal gaming use. Never viewed static images or news channels for extended periods or any of the clichés. OLEDs just aren’t built for longevity, so if you’re a heavy user, stick with mini-led
If I could I would have gotten the tcl r646 even with it's issues but tcl doesn't sell any tvs at costco which sucks. I also did not want to pay extra money for an additional warranty since it was very expensive at best buy and it would have cost me well over $1000 CAD including the tv. I did have the option of getting the u7g but I didn't want to take a risk and buy it after everything I have read online about that tv,it's better brother the u8g and hisense tv's in general. I bought a 55 inch sony x85j I found on clearance for $799.99. My next tv upgrade might be a high end sony or another brand since I will likely won't be forced to replace a broken tv unlike this time and I can actually get a tv with great hdr next time.
Great review. Tired of all these reviewers shilling the c2 with no consideration for the price. Most people won't hand over 1 month rent/mortgage for a TV. Can you check if the tcl has vrr flicker on ps5?
Great review, looking for the 75" TCL 646 myself (in Canada) sold out everywhere, but Best Buy you can have it delivered. Its on sale now and sale ends tomorrow....but hoping it goes even lower closer to Black Friday then grabbing it. Was considering the Hisense U8H but after hearing the gaming issues, TCL was definitely the best option. Btw, anyone know if Canada will ever get the TCL 655? Just curious, be nice to try to get that but haven't heard a timeframe Cheers
I've been looking at the 655, wish it were here sooner than later. I sent an email to TCL Canada, hopefully they get back to me soon. The R646 is beast though. I'd snag it from Best Buy before they're gone. Even if you don't like it their return period goes till like Jan 14 right now for purchases. Good luck!

6:32 doed TCL R646 really have much better motion than LG C1 ?
I've had my R646 replaced once due to screen discoring to green over a week. Now the new panel is discoloring to green 2 months later. I just bought the B2 because I'm tired of bad panels.
Do you like the B2? Bright enough?
Just got my TCL and I cannot be happier. I have always only owned budget HDR displays but still enjoyed them. Decided to be a bit more spendy this time and get the 65 inch version for 1k from best buy and I really am stunned to see hoe good it looks. Waiting to get my 2.1 cable so I can enjoy resident evil 8 with HDR and high fps.
Should've got the 75 inch for only 300 bucks more. I just bought the Q90T 75 inch for 1800 makes me wonder if I should've saved 500 clams.🤔
You could be happier....if you had an OLED...lol
The 2.1 is for 120 fps at 4k, correct? To my knowledge you need to have a 3000 series card in order to play at 4k 120
It you have a PS5 or Xbox Series then it comes with the HDMI 2.1 cable
I don’t think resident evil 8 goes above 60 fps
Hi. TCL C835 mini LED or LG OLED C21 for PC FPS Gaming ? (dark room) ...Thx
My preference is OLED for dark room. Huge benefit to mini LED is playing in super bright conditions
OLED will take the cakes hands down in a dark room. Specifically for the blacks and vibrancy.
@@MinimalisTech Great. Thanks for Your reply :)
The 55" R646 is not $850. I bought one earlier this year when it first came out at $750 from Best Buy. Might be cheaper now. I returned it though because of noticeable pixels at close distance when gaming and slight blooming and grayish black.
TCL usually prices their TVs lower at the start then increase the price over time.
Just got my R646 for $600
I just bought the 65 inch for 600 at best buy..amazing deal
Went with the TCL R646 55 inch , will use more with my PC, thanks for making it easy for me.
Hi. Can you please check the exact distanse of 2 stands for lg42? Some says it's 720mm, some it's 710mm. Mayby because of their thickness...So can you tell the distance between middles of stands? I believe it should be 715mm or something. Thanks in advance!
For a bit added cost than the tcl, it may be better getting an lg c1 while it’s still available at a huge discount
Best thought
The lg c1 is like 600 dollars more expensive than the r646 in Canada right now.
@@hyper100000 i grabbed my 48 inch C1 for just under 800 a couple weeks ago! They much be getting harder to find now after the sales
@@victorw.330 on what store? all i see are $1,400+
@@DookieBrowns I got mine on Amazon. It was for the 4th of July sale and that price continued until Amazon prime day which was like the 12-13th if I’m not mistaken. I know at that point people were able to get at 796 but had to wait until September for delivery. I think everyone is mostly sold out of C1 48inch units now :(
If a non-gamer would you consider the TCL a slam dunk? Only stream and watch sports. 55" is the max size for placement. Thanks.
For value the TCL is hard to beat.
If you’re near windows at all the mini-led would be super bright at least while watching sports.
OLED TVs might be crappier for reflections. For sports that would piss me off
Cheers
@@MinimalisTech Thank you. Budget is not an issue but why spend more if you don't have to. I'm not the audio or video geek that can tell small differences. This seems like a good choice. Use Google too so that model seems the better choice.
You compared the price of the 55 tcl vs 65 lg ...
He showed the 65" price of 2500 but he literally says 1800 for the 55
The 65 inch TCL 65R646 is only $700 right now.
Picked mine up at best buy yesterday for $699 to pair with my PS5. WOW! It really is amazing coming from always just having a Walmart special.
@@micahreynolds3450 Yep, playing Destiny 2 on Xbox Series X with HDR10 right now
Those on the fence. Get the TCL 646 in a bigger screen size.
Hello what is your opinion about TCL 55R635?
R646 is $600 now. Insane value
You definitely didn't have the black level turned all the way up on those videos showing the contrast with the bottles on the r646. The black will literally be pitch black like the TV is off if you have the TV set correctly. I've never once seen gray on my r646 when it's supposed to be black. The black gets so deep it's insane.
Thats wat im saying my 2020 tcl 6 series gets super black has me questioning wats the point of oled i dont need anything blacker😂😂
@@iDontUploadiJustSub yeah insane levels of black
Great video very well explained on both TVs
Isn’t the R646 basically the same as the R635 from 2020? Only difference being it’s a Google set, as opposed to Roku?
The Roku R635 doesn’t support hdmi 2.1. So it’ll only do 4K 60hz. Where as the R646 google will have HDMI 2.1 with full VRR support
Cheers thanks for watching
It has a new panel as well with much better black uniformity, higher contrast, better against reflection, brighter highs and a denser sub-pixel layer.
How does gaming on these TVs compare to gaming on pc monitors?
Great review!
Do you now the Numbers in europe for the Tcl is it the same as c935 or c835..?
Just picked up a lg c2 from best buy for $1350 usd. 1450 after tax. Definitely glad I waited for the sale but I’m curious to see how much more it will drop for black friday
2:03 LG c2 has 4x 2.1 HDMI
What about the software issues I've read about. Some people say that its been patched but I never had a glitchy tv, I just read about it and makes me nervous
Show us ur setting so we can copy n paste
Why would you get the puny 55s? I gave that same TV stand and it fits the 65 inch models perfectly. Shit, I'm considering ditching my 65 tcl for a 77 oled due to the cash back and insane price ($1500 minus $250 cb right now through best buy and capital one shopping)
What game is that u playin at the minute 8:17 ? Please anyone
It Takes Two! It’s a cooperative local or online multiplayer. It’s on game pass super fun
Wait until the TV is on sale around 6 months after launch!!! Do not buy an OLED at full launch price!
I got me a 55in C2 for $1300 recently. November is the best time to shop.
Can you show your tv settings on the tcl r646? And how did you get you’re 120hz I tried everything but have no luck on getting it to 120hz please help!!!
What size is that tv with picture of. Spiderman on it ukn.
What about QNED vs QLED v OLED?
What are the names of the games he is playing?
Which is better the TCL646 with Google interface or the Roku interface. Is there a difference as far as picture quality between the two?
The Google interface is awesome. But I personally like Roku a little more. Much more simple design. I have both in my house. I'd rate 8.5/10 for Google and 9/10 for Roku. It's just neater/nicer, better organized, faster loading etc.
Please what is the name of the multiplayer game?
Can I get a link to buy the hdmi 2.0 splitter you showed.
Whats the best samsung option for gaming
Comparing OLED with Mini LED ? Night and day difference..
The TCL can do g sync, it’s just not certified for g sync so performance might not be optimal
What dope video✊🏿🤛🏽 what s the 8:46 game?
The game is called "It Takes Two". Such a good online or local cooperative game
Does the tcl r646 have the google play store app?
I´ve a LG OLED 55" thats almost 10 years old and its still amazing. The picture quality is still so good even though its not en 4 or 8 K television we have decided to wait to renew it until it breaks down
LG got some solid quality. Stoked to hear yours has lasted so long.
It’ll be wild when you do bump up to 4K eventually.
Cheers
I wonder though, if money were not an issue, would you pick the C2 over the TCL. Either way, happy to use your link when I'm ready to make my purchase. I'm actually torn between the C2 and the Sony X90 Series.
If money wasn't an issue we'd all have IMAX theaters lol.
Does VRR still turn off Local Dimming on TCL?
Whats your graphic settings on the tcl
Great video!!
Was excited to pick one of these up. However, my 75r646 doesn't want to display any Amazon prime content in hdr. It's fine through my roku but the native app has poor resolution. Disney + is fine and I'm not sure Crave tv has any hdr content. any thoughts on resolving this?
Has the OS issues with the TCL R646 been fixed?
Please tell me what's name your stand on right taller??
Great video bro. Keep grinding and you’ll have a huge channel.
If you are on a budget, TCL 6 series is the absolute cheapest you should go.
Odd my ps5 and ps4 been working excellent on it.
Just checked for the TCL 55R646 on Amazon, price dropped down to $899 CAD. I'll just wait for black Friday, if the price stays same, I'll just order one
On the 55" TCL do you get the option to put the feet in 2 different positions?
No unfortunately Not :(.
There are legs you can get that hook to the wall mount vesa holes though for people who need legs closer together
@@MinimalisTech thanks for the quick response
None of these support 120hz???
The processor & webos alone makes it so much more worth it. Better upscaling and smoother framerate is such a game changer. & that’s not even mentioning oled
Can I buy the r646 75 inch in the uk???
Bout to get the tcl r646 as it is only $399 now. I know its considered older, but me upgrading to 120hz for gaming will be nice. Also, can’t beat that price!
I'm struggling with the fact of cost of c2 is it just clout? I'm mean specs are specs I'm starting to think the lg oled is just famous so the company takes advantage of that and charges more, same as bs apple phones!
Impressed how good the tcl looks.
Nice video, you made some good points. Reference the price and size comparison, the TCL 646 is a 2021 model and the C2 is a 2022 model, I think it would be better to compare the the 646 to the C1 (2021) model. They are much closer in price, for the 55 inch model.
What’s the Uk version of the r646 ??
Does exist in the UK :(. Depressing.
I heard lots of folks get Hisense in the UK or LG C1s if it’s still available, they’re usually on sale now!
The Hisense ones became available in the UK in 2021 I think. I’ll hopefully review one of them soon!
I will stick with my LG C1 with my Bose soundbar 600 and bass module 500 it’s perfect setup for anything I watch on it. I can’t wait to add the Bose surround speakers soon to complete my setup fully

Yea, but you gotta wait many years lol d
A brand new $500 tv today doesn't even come close to something like a LG C7 or Sony A1E in terms of picture quality.
@@cun7us just a bit pricey at the moment lol
@@cun7us true, but I just spent too much money on two OLEDs the last year. So I’m probably waiting for micro-LED at this point which is a couple years away.
@@BruceRichwineJr it's looking like microLED might not happen. The cost to produce them is too high and will be way above most people's budget.
@@cun7us true, but there is other technologies in the pipeline. So I’ll be waiting until then.
How's TCL C725
Anyone have any problem with the C2 getting burn in while playing games? Thanks.
I love my LG C2 55 no regrets!
It's top notch!
cheers
C1 is where it’s at price-wise right now. C2 updates aren’t worth several hundred more for same size TV
Just curious, be nice to try to get that but haven't heard a timeframe
Cheers
I've been looking at the 655, wish it were here sooner than later. I sent an email to TCL Canada, hopefully they get back to me soon.
The R646 is beast though. I'd snag it from Best Buy before they're gone. Even if you don't like it their return period goes till like Jan 14 right now for purchases.
Good luck!
