Bixby is an early product and already performing on par and better in some instances than several year old assistants. That's really impressive. Besides, if you have Bixby, you have Google Assistant so you get the best of both worlds.
Samsung is the best because it has Bixby and Google.....Google fills in bixby weak spots and Bixby fills in Googles weak spots.....best of both worlds tbh
Bixby and Google Assistant will always be better than Siri and Cortana and Alexa the reason Alexa did well is because you linked it to your Amazon Echo that's the only reason why otherwise it wouldn't be able to do the things that it was doing

I am for the most part happy with google assistant however the lack of uber support, the inability to recognize music with the assistant and NOT having to go to google now to get that kind of function, and the simple fact that when i tell my google assistant to open "my browser" and "go to a specific website" and it just closes the assistant and fails to complete the task irks me after seeing Bixby do all of these kind of things pretty flawlessly. If i COULD have bixby on my google pixel i'd have it on the side for those things my GA couldn't complete. I'm sure Bixby has music recognition along with uber support and those other things mentioned above.
With bixby you can say stuff like go to the camera setting and change the resolution to 4k and take a photo. With bixby you can control your phone completely handsfree, and if you combine it with Google Assistant, you will be ready to go :)
Google assistant is the more polished one maybe because Google (the company) has access to lots of information about all of us. Bixby seems to be improving and if machine learning also applies here, am sure with time it will get even much better and be up there as well. Good news for galaxy owners is we got both google and bixby😉
Google's efficiency is the best, but I find Cortana to be more chatty and personalized towards me. :) Also, you could've gotten the Cortana app to make it more fair. I have it on my phone and it definitely works with TH-cam and other functionality.
cortona is good in microsoft mobile -_- . i have lumia 950.iphone 6 and honor 8 .. cortana and google are easily better than siri. siri is (what i felt) mostly for north american users regarding maps and searches . you need to be very specific if you are outside that area.
The reason why google assistant don't perform user interface control like bixby is because of security issues because anyone can bypass the voice recognise and can do anything

Siri is so shit because it doesn't respond to you. it just pulls it up on screen while the others do that and have an audio response. so if you are doing anything else while talking to siri, you have to stop what you're doing to then navigate on screen, which defeats the whole purpose of a voice assistant
Siri does have voice activated commands and you can access it by long pressing the home button (which is what I did in the video). She's not the best, but it's for more objective reasoning than that :) ~Joe Hindy
I have Alexa, Cortana, Bixby, and Google Assistant all on my phone. I use Alexa the most when I am home with my echo devices but bounce between Bixby and Google Assistant on my phone. The only time I use Cortana is when I am sitting at my computer and I want to send text from phone, you can use voice command from your computer to and it will send the message from your phone.
Google assistant i em using in beta version. I have s voice which is worse, don't catch any of my command but google is suporb. Love it and i wanna provide 4.5 to 4.8 rating.
Once you get used to using proper context and phrasing (as in, proper to Bixby), Bixby is probably the most powerful assistant. Plus, shortcut commands allow you do perform complex multi step tasks with a single word or short phrase. It does take more tinkering and setting up so to speak than the others, but the reward is a completely new way to interact with your device.
And because of this video, i Try my Google Assistance on my Device then i forgot that the time is already Night. till today im playing this Google Assistance on my Device.

I'll just rock GA... I rarely use it as it is...It does sound and work the most thorough to me, however... As for the others? Although I don't have a Samsung device, Bixby sounds kind of too overenthusiastic and more canned with the voice , but it works almost as good as GA...Alexa sounds and works kind of moronic - unless you want to shop Amazon, of course...Siri looks and sounds like the computer from out of Star Trek, and works good, but I don't have an iPhone... Cortana is more for a laptop...It won't bring up TH-cam, nor certain other apps I use on my machine, so I rarely use it even there...Forget the jokes on all of them, though... I have used all these assistants and the best assistant so far for myself and people I know with either a accent or in my case voice box issues due to someone stabbing me in my throat several times. the best assistant is Microsoft Cortana as she ALWAYS gets me correct on all devices computers Surface devices and mobile phones running Windows 8 or 10. Google comes next but Google only gets me correct on my SONY XZ Premium 4G Mobile and not on the Google home at all Alexa and Bixby are so close it is hard for me to say what one gets me more correct more often, however I would say Bixby gets me correct more often when background noise is around. SADLY to say SRI has never once got me correct ever. as of this post. stay away from SRI if you have accents or a disability effecting your voice and chose Microsoft Cortana for the absolute best recognition possible all the time on all devices. I'm going to deliberately "miss" the point of this video by asking the following: what on earth is "Brooklyn style" pizza??? I grew up in NY and I've never heard of that before.
I prefer to use Alexa because I love how quick and easy to use the Kindle Fire is. Alexa sings to me or plays Skyrim with me while I work out in the room with the Echo dot, which keeps me from being bored. She is quick and polite and doesn't let me down. I was also gifted a tablet which has Google Assistant, however perhaps it is just the tablet itself, but responses seem much slower and delayed. Cortana is on my husband's laptop, but he uses it very infrequently as he says he often does not get the information he wants or enough information when asking questions, or Cortana will misunderstand him. My husband sometimes has a thick accent and I would like to note that Alexa does not have trouble understanding me or him from our Echo Dot.
Awesome work bro, I really like Google Assistant, but with my new S8 I'm looking forward to Bixby, but, why they don't fuse into a Jarvis/Friday haha jk
Cortana didn't play music on TH-cam cuz there is no Gapps for Windows or windows 10 mobile thanks to Google they didn't develop any of there apps for windows.
I use Bixby to complete a very complicated task each night. All I need to say is "good night" and Bixby sets up my alarm, turns on "do not disturb", optimizes my phone, turns on power save mode, closed all recent app, and turns off the screen while I lay in bed, ready to sleep. I say good morning and Bixby turns off the alarms, turns off power save mode, and turns off do not disturb. I honestly love Bixby
If u own a device that can support Bixby, which is currently on Samsung s8 and note 8, which will grow in the future, ur in luck and u also have Google assistant. Google assistant Is absolutely great for searching things quickly and effectively giving u direct answers most of the time instead of links. Bixby is not made for research as much as it's made to use ur phone internally without touching it. It's good for handicap and while driving.
I use Cortana and now Google assistant cause I've changed over from windows phone to Android phone simply because of the lack of apps in Windows eco system, when I did use Cortana on my Windows phone it was really, really good could open up apps, get weather details, get driving directions etc... I could set it to read out loud messages while in Bluetooth or wired mode (headset/earphones) and could reply to my sms that way while driving, I've installed Cortana on Android and it's similar but can't read sms out to me while driving (of course it's Android and can't most likely a reason behind it) sure it can alert me of my reminders etc... on my PC but when I use Android auto while driving I don't like it it's not as good as using Cortana on Windows phone, at least with Cortana I could have a headset or earphones on and have messages come directly to me without looking at phone. Handy when multitasking with kids etc.. I kind of wished Android assistant could do all that without having to download a third party app taking up space on my phone and having too many glitches etc... I've tried so many on Android and they just don't measure up. I still use both Cortana and Google Assistant on my Moto G5 plus but have to be happy with what I have 😊
u activated my cortana at 11:25 :)) btw : google assistant (when i come hoem usually i put it on the bed/table and start: k gogu(yeah it does work with this instead of ok google) set brighness to a quarer, set all volumes to max, turn on wifi, turn off bluetooth, and usually adding a reminder of sum sort (yeah....every....day) and then i us ecortana on my laptop (most used command is play music bt speakers :) btw will there be a how to get bixby voice on any android phone ?

Being an s8+ owner i jump between google assistant and bixby now that i can FINALLY use its voice functions in australia

I've been trying really hard to use Bixby with pretty spotty results. I've been giving it some time.
Cortana and google assistant are super smart. They told the next solar eclipse occurrence with respect to user's current location.

Cortana opened Chrome by default. Cortana won't work properly without using Bing search by default.

Awesome work bro, I really like Google Assistant, but with my new S8 I'm looking forward to Bixby, but, why they don't fuse into a Jarvis/Friday haha jk
Cortana didn't play music on TH-cam cuz there is no Gapps for Windows or windows 10 mobile thanks to Google they didn't develop any of there apps for windows.
I use Bixby to complete a very complicated task each night. All I need to say is "good night" and Bixby sets up my alarm, turns on "do not disturb", optimizes my phone, turns on power save mode, closed all recent app, and turns off the screen while I lay in bed, ready to sleep. I say good morning and Bixby turns off the alarms, turns off power save mode, and turns off do not disturb. I honestly love Bixby
Google. Which device of which assistant would you get? (For example; the google home hub.)
TBH, I would buy the google home hub.
If u own a device that can support Bixby, which is currently on Samsung s8 and note 8, which will grow in the future, ur in luck and u also have Google assistant. Google assistant Is absolutely great for searching things quickly and effectively giving u direct answers most of the time instead of links. Bixby is not made for research as much as it's made to use ur phone internally without touching it. It's good for handicap and while driving.
I use Cortana and now Google assistant cause I've changed over from windows phone to Android phone simply because of the lack of apps in Windows eco system, when I did use Cortana on my Windows phone it was really, really good could open up apps, get weather details, get driving directions etc... I could set it to read out loud messages while in Bluetooth or wired mode (headset/earphones) and could reply to my sms that way while driving, I've installed Cortana on Android and it's similar but can't read sms out to me while driving (of course it's Android and can't most likely a reason behind it) sure it can alert me of my reminders etc... on my PC but when I use Android auto while driving I don't like it it's not as good as using Cortana on Windows phone, at least with Cortana I could have a headset or earphones on and have messages come directly to me without looking at phone. Handy when multitasking with kids etc.. I kind of wished Android assistant could do all that without having to download a third party app taking up space on my phone and having too many glitches etc... I've tried so many on Android and they just don't measure up. I still use both Cortana and Google Assistant on my Moto G5 plus but have to be happy with what I have 😊
u activated my cortana at 11:25 :)) btw : google assistant (when i come hoem usually i put it on the bed/table and start: k gogu(yeah it does work with this instead of ok google) set brighness to a quarer, set all volumes to max, turn on wifi, turn off bluetooth, and usually adding a reminder of sum sort (yeah....every....day) and then i us ecortana on my laptop (most used command is play music bt speakers :) btw will there be a how to get bixby voice on any android phone ?
