Hey guys, small mistake at 1:34. The iPhone shouldn't get any points here. However, Siri doesn't get any points for the next questions, even though it was correct. So the points are correct again from 1:54. But which voice assistant do you like best?

Bixby is meant to act as a hand without using your hand. So asking it to basically perform actual deeds on your Samsung device, is where it shines. Google is the world search engine, asking it questions is where it shines, and to navigate since all the phones uses google maps.
At 4:37, Bixby says "Hmm, I didn't get that. Please try again.", but still got the point

Google Assistant should crush other assistants no matter what modern processor is powering it.
this has nothing to do with tensor it also works on Snapdragon mediatek and exynos cpus

I've tried but didn't liked that taking us to the whole screen web page instead of just half screen pop up like assistant I don't know how it pop up in other devices i have a pixel so it's just like that

@@vemuzikhamo1099it been out longer. But sometimes Bixby works when Google sometimes act like it don't hear me. You have to take in consideration it was the last to come out and beats the competition. That's impressive but I use both I love having two assistants with me everywhere I go

Same. I even tried the question asking about the nearest train station and it worked perfectly fine.
I've been playing around with Bixby as my first phone assistant app. It's pretty cool!
Just wanted to say I ran some of the tests that failed in your examples and they seem to be working fine for me. Bixby seems like the least intrusive assistant on the screen so I think I'm settling with it for now. I tried Gemini, but after having it set a destination in google maps, it started rattling off way too much information I didn't need.

I asked my bixby the same wrong questions, cuz I couldnt believe it'd fail at such simple tasks and it nailed pretty much everything. Maybe not as good as Google but personally I'd give bixby the 2nd place.

@@evgeni5930they must have updated Bixby after the fact. This video is shot in real time and is a real comparison. Furthermore, Bixby excels at on-device tasks whereas for internet related tasks Google assistant excels. Clearly you don't have a Samsung phone or a brain.

I use both Bixby and google. Its so good to have two assistants that can help me. As a truck driver we definitely need hands free assistance

Out of curiosity, I tried asking Bixby to give me directions to the nearest train station, and it worked. Didn't start navigation by itself but it showed me the option to select which one I wanted to go to out of three that are nearby.

I tried the same questions specifically the US states number on my Bixby, and it gave me the correct answer.

The "How smart are you" question was an interesting one. The not so smart assistants were over rating themselves and the smartest one of all compared itself to a microwave.

While playing some sound or music Google falls to just respond, but bixby wakes up while calling her in any condition. That's great.
Yes because Bixby is specially engineered to be that way I think. It lets us do handsfree stuff even when the phone is playing audio (like picking calls)

Coming from the end of the the Baby Boomer generation, and being visually impaired. I find this technology almost to be a miracle sometimes. In my early life experience,
every home would have a dictionary, a set of encyclopedias, road maps, and music collections, maybe a globe or a world atlas. You needed to be in front of a television at just the right time to find out about the weather forecast or hear it on the radio. It didn't seem to be as hot back then though.
I struggled to read all those reference books and record labels and now to be able to simply ask❣️
It's been pretty cool to watch all of this technology evolve. Now just to try and keep up ✌️

Bixby is simply the best assistant. It sounds very natural, not robotic. Perfect for commands on your own phone or controlling your smart home.
This i would have to disagree with. Bixby on my phone in my region sounds extremely goofy, that's the only con with it so far. Have to change the voice from English(India) to something else I guess. Sometimes it's like she is shouting at me 😂
And she also has the stereotypical Indian accent....ugh.

With the Bixby vs google assistant debate let me just say, use bixby for all of your phone related stuff, but use google assistant for all of your internet related stuff, including maps and such imo. They can do each others stuff but they are best at their own jobs.

Bixby used to access play store but not anymore
FE : if I say "go to play store and install PUBG" my note 9 would do but my s22 ultra will open galaxy store.
Samsung at it again hitting itself in the foot with its anti consumer practices. The Chinese phones push their app store hard as well. At this point what's the difference between Samsung and a Chinese phone? Even Chinese phones have great software, and Google ai which causes less confusion.

For Samsung, I think it is because well you could use the play store on Samsung phones, but maybe it’s better you ask Bixby to open the galaxy store instead that you would definitely open it

Bixby seems to be overrated.
Bixby don't get credit it deserves. It's actually come along way even surpassing siri in some cases and it came out years after. I love Bixby and I hope one day it gets the respect it deserves especially with Bixby routines
@a_thousand_balls417 This test is super inaccurate. You can genuinely go to any other channel, and these features easily work.
I tried some of these and Siri does tell you when Frozen released and it does tell you what Olaf looks like (I just called him Olaf, and gave no further context. Although I had just asked about Frozen). It reads a description to you and gives you the source. If I'd asked for a picture maybe it would reply similarly to Google Assistant
For the Galaxy smartphone question Siri will either Google search or read the answer to you depending on how you phrased the question. Unfortunately it pulls outdated information when it reads the answer so the west phone it says are the S23 phones
In the complex questions section, two of the questions were unfair. You said you want to book a plane ticket, but what's the phone supposed to do with that information? You made a statement with no request. Then for the 6 person cake question, how much flour you need differs depending on what cake you're making. You never stated the type of cake you want to make so how are the assistants supposed to answer. The fact Alexa answered that is incredible.
I always knew Google was the best. I had to turn off my bixby, sometimes it even comes when not called, and I am like no no bixby, HEY GOOGLE!
Idk I use both because sometimes Google act like it can't hear or ignores me or have a hard time calling someone named Michelle so Bixby is always there to listen. Y'all don't give it enough credit considering it's the newest of them all

It will do the same for me for selfies, but not for the main camera. On one attempt, the iMac answered and opened Photo Booth. I didn't even know there was an app called Photo Booth
Everytime I've asked siri to take a selfie it opens the camera fine. But when I ask it to "take a photo in 5 seconds" it took a screenshot

This test is a cheat for apple, from 6 then 8, like how 😂😂
Bcoz the siri did the work properly in both the test but the score wasn't increased... siri opened the maps for the nearest tram station and opened the routo too and for the selfie, siri wasn't listening as it was written there before the command that something went wrong...

Would you explain a bit what it is and how you use it?
I own a S23U and still figure out how to use it efficently.
@MathSMR42 bixby routines are kinda like the Goodluck module from Galaxy Store. They give you a near endless amount of customization options based on different parameters. For example, you can set a routine that ensures your location services will be turned on automatically whenever you use Maps.
You can watch some TH-cam reviews on the subject that explain in more detail.
Wait for iOS 18 Siri.
