Thank you for this! I purchased this product and have used it twice. It does a great job, but I used SO MUCH product, the bottle is more than half gone. It never occurred to me to not pre rinse the wheels first. I'm going to try your method and see if I use less product.
Most iron removers I’ve used, don’t do a good enough job and you have to use all the bottle to clean all four tires. Also, the smell can be pretty strong. I’ll have to try this one out! Great video
I know what you mean about it being super satisfying, when it just keeps foaming and foaming! I think I’m gonna pick this product up! It did an awesome job.
Looks like it worked well. I have wheels the same color as my car. They came that way from the factory so I have to be careful using wheel cleaner as to not damage the paint. I usually have to spray it on the brush and have a towel or water hose handy just in case.
Yeah it definitely worked well! Bronze wheels from the factory? Nice! What car do you have? I don't think you have to worry much with this cleaner. It is a great cleaner but I don't think it's damaging. Plus this wheel isn't protected with any sealant or coating and I sprayed the cleaner straight without rinsing while under the sun in the beginning. lol but of course, you can be cautious and try a test spot. Thanks for watching! Don't forget to like and subscribe! It really helps my small channel!
Thank you so much! That means a lot! The wheels are a bronze color. Yes, I do recommend to give it a try! Also don't forget to like, subscribe & follow me on Instagram!
used this other day after friend recommended this First bad point is the price, 680ml for £14 is really bad value for money Second bad point was that you have to use a lot of it to actually cover the wheel, because its a foam it doesnt easily spread around the wheel so you have to spray a lot to cover the whole wheel unlike with other nonfoam products, so after all 4 wheels were done I was left with about half of the bottle gone... Third and most important, as shown in this video, its not strong enough to clean the wheel in one go and remove the brake dust, I actually had to use other brand iron remover to actually remove all the brake dust So in conclusion, you cant dilute it because its not strong enough in the first place, high price for what you actually getting, because of foam coverage is not great Their redline wheel cleaner is much better and a lot stronger than this and also cheaper, - for bad smell but it does the job right
The wheel I tried it on was bare and had no protection so I wasn't able to test this out but that's a good question. I would say it would depend on the durability of what wax/sealant/coating you have on your wheels. What protection do you have on your wheels? This product definitely is strong and was able to remove baked on brake dust that had been on the wheel for a long time. I'd suggest for you to give it a try anyway!
@@jggarage1807 on my personal and wife's ride I wash and top the wheels and tires regularly. I have them coated with TW Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Polish/Spray which I top frequently with the ceramic detailer. No real need for the cleaner in that aspect but more concerned if I overspray applying to the tires or if I decide to occasionally tackle wheel barrels. Thx.

I actually thought about this and tried it. If you want to dilute it, dilute it minimally. Once there's room in the bottle, add 1-2oz of distilled water at the most to extend usage. Anything more I feel like makes it much weaker and you may get insufficient results compared to this video. However if your wheels don't get caked with brake dust and is relatively clean and you don't need such a strong cleaner then diluting it may be reasonable. It still cleans. It just won't be as powerful. If you'd like to try it out, I have the product link in the video description. Also thank you for watching! Don't forget to like and subscribe as it helps out my channel growth!
Both ways work just as good. If the wheel is dry though, you need to make sure the product doesn't dry. The bottle instructions does say to wet the wheel first. If the wheel is hot or working in direct sunlight then I'd suggest to wet the wheel first. Personally, depending on the situation, I like to spray dry just so that the product doesn't run off too fast then I rinse and spray again then brush. Thank you for watching! Don't forget to give the video a like and consider following me on Instagram @jg.garage_! If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!

I compared this product with chemical guys Diablo wheel cleaner they both have a cherry scent and they get rid of brake dust really good and road grime overall they work the same Just the chemical guys Diablo wheel cleaner is not a lot of foam like Turtle wax

Really? It smells much better than other wheel cleaners with iron removers. Those will really make you gag. lol this one is more pleasant but we all have different tolerances. Haha Thanks for watching! Consider giving the video a like and subscribe!
Yeah.. but it isn't so bad that it sticks to the rotor which is good. I want to paint the wheels in the future and that's when I'll take care of that. Haha thank you for watching! Don't forget to like and subscribe!
The wheel hasn't been properly cleaned especially in the barrel for some years and the dust really got baked on especially with the extreme temps from where I live. It did require some brushing although the product did loosen it up quite well. I haven't tried that Poorboys product yet but that sounds interesting to try. Thank you for watching!
Foam so good makes you wanna clean everyday. Foam nation, baby!
