Hey buddy, nice video. I see you're not posting anymore. Can you tell me how your squash roots did in the system? What nutrients did you use?

Here in the New England the squash borer is a big problem. This year I will try to grow a self pollinating squash variety in a mini greenhouse to prevent the infestation.

What is the minimum spacing requirements for yellow squash plants when growing hydroponically?

Zucchini does not require a 12 -12 light hour schedule they start to naturally blossom early summer, I do not know exactly what triggers it but it happens during warmer times, they plant may just need to be large enough, again unsure. And give them 6-9 square feet of horizontal room to grow. Those Leaves get huge and carpet. But honestly they do stretch so you can put them closer to each other, the stems will reach out 3-4 feet if they need to, but of course more room is better. Definitely give squash and zucchini their own space they will overshadow other plants that require high light.

Looks good! Thanks for your video. What size vinyl fence posts are used in your nft system? And what size net pots are in it?

Hi thanks for sharing your video. it's really is a really nice setup. my question is for the zucchinis and all the plants in the square shaped PVC pipe. is it a dynamic circulating system or is it a static system where the plants just sits in the water

Nice setup! I live nearby and am struggling getting my hydroponics system to produce anything. I was wondering if I could ask a few questions on the topic via e-mail?

Very Nice System! Thanks for sharing! I like the idea of Vinyl fence post for nft and i'm using the same for my aquaponics system.

If you would harvest your zucchini at around 7 to 8 inches they will be very tender and nice to eat. You're letting them get way to 'BIG'.
