Quick question howndid you get thisbhelmet i live in the states and i cant find a way for european stores to ship me one because shoei said not to lol anyway around that i really want this helmet
The Glamster to me is the loudest helmet I’ve ever owned. Wind rushes up just below the ears. I never used ear plugs for short rides in town but with the Glamster I have to wear them every single ride. It’s a real shame because I love the way it looks and feels. My RF1200 blows the Glamster out of the water when it comes to wind management. Heck, even my Bell Bullitt was quieter than the Glamster.
Paul Valas I was hoping this wasn't the case, I love the style of both this and the bullit, however I was going to get a glamster hoping they would be much quieter, as I have the bullit and its terrible. Doesn't seem as though I'll bother wasting my money now. I also love the Simpson ghost bandit but have heard reports of those being noisy also.
@@adventuringourway4426 I sold the Glamster and got two helmets. A Shoei RSFR and the Nexx XG100R. The Shoei is my “serious” helmet and the Nexx my poser helmet. The Nexx isn’t much quieter than the Glamster but I realized that air was coming up at the back of my neck. Wearing a scarf to block that wind made the Nexx extremely quiet. I can hear my engine with stock pipes at 70mph. All that being said, it’s quite personal. Depending how you are built, how broad your shoulders are, thickness of neck, body position etc the helmet might just be very different for you. Some have said the Glamster is decent. One thing about the Glamster, is it is extremely comfortable. Probably the most comfortable helmet I’ve worn.
About the matt black getting dirty: I own the Ex-Zero in matt black an greasy fingers and insect are easy to remove. Just use water and cloth or kitchen tissue. Will come down easily and leave no marks. Clever surface design. 👍
Update on the Glamster? Going to throw my Bell Bullitt in the trash. Already getting loose after less than a season and today the face shield popped open at 140kmh (open empty road btw).

Both are lacking certain things for me in comfort and safety. I'm currently researching the Shoei and Arai offerings too. Looking forward to your review video!
I have this helmet .. the black clip on the visor is a Visual distraction when your riding with the visor up.. there are also some reflection issues from the edge when the visors down
It looks good. The understated branding is stylish. The name sounds like it was created via a series of marketing focus groups containing none of the target market. The only classic helmet I have is a Davida open face one.
Othman Kammah I have the Glamster and the Ex Zero. I use a Cardo Packtalk Bold JBL and the larger JBL drivers fit ok, but snug. I had to mount them a little bit below the cut out, but they sound great. The clip mount does not work on the Ex-Zero, so I had to use the adhesive mount. But the clip works on the Glamster.

Did you have issues shipping it out to the U.S.? I saw some sites refusing to ship them to the U.S. and Canada because they’re not DOT and ECE certified.
I actually think they could have cleaned it up some more. Definitely sleek, but I can tell it’s a modern helmet quickly. Haha. That said, I’m sure it’s top notch just like this Shoei. Probably comes down to how it fits uniquely for your head and personal preference on styling :)
