That last walker in the Scene was Greg Nicotero, which is just beautiful. In Daryls first episode Ever S1E3 "Tell it to the Frogs" the walker that was eating the Deer that Daryl was hunting and got his Head shot by Daryl was also played by Nicotero, so Daryls first and last On Screen Walker were played by the same Guy
For people who are confused , no in the episode he is not leaving for Paris he is leaving to find rick and michonne but as we all know and it's announced that daryl is getting his own spinoff show which is already in production that is set in Paris. So how does go to Paris, why he goes etc etc will be answered in that show
From what I’ve read Daryl is on a scouting mission set by Maggie to understand how it all began. Whether he intends to go to France or he is taken there is unsure but from World Beyond and the link to France you’d assume he knows about France. But he also wants to bring Rick and Michonne back. Certainly hope so because we didn’t get the reunion we all wanted last night

When this show started I was a younger man living an almost completely different life than today. It is hard to believe it has been 12 years. To watch it end feels impossible. The spin offs will keep it alive however it won’t be the same.

He's going to where it all started. In season 1, Jenner said that the French scientist in a French lab were the last to go dark and Worlds Beyond had a post credit scene of a French scientist being killed by someone saying they made the virus worse. This sounds too good of a series to not watch.
Yeah I think that was always intended as commentary about the AIDS crisis and the race to find the cause of it between the CDC and the Pasteur Institute, with the Europeans getting the nod for taking it more seriously because of the social stigma the Americans out on the first AIDS patients
This feels like a finale. The way he rides his back, the bright color compared to it's usually grey tone, the more clean road, yet the walkers still exist. It's so calm. It's a sense they'll be okay whatever happens
My favorite part of the whole show is when the walkers were no longer their primary threat and they were no longer wide eyed scared running from them. There was a monumental shift, where the survivors realized they could deal with the walkers and survive.
She aged herself a good ten years chopping it off. She looked beautiful with long hair. She a very pretty lady but long hair suit her way better. Seem like a rule you hit age short hair and look like a old women. When usually the ladies that keep it long even if its grey still look younger.
Norman Reedus gave you a hint several times. He said he does not go to France of his own free will. He goes looking for Rick and Michone. The CRM still has Rick, though he tries to escape. Somewhere along the way Daryl probably gets captured by the CRM too and helicoptered to France.
It’s hard for me to think that I was only eight or nine when I first saw this show. And I instantly loved Carol and Daryl right away. And now here they are, twelve years and eleven seasons later, they’re still kicking. I always loved their bond they were so special to each other and that just made me love them more as they both had such impacts on each other and had such character developments. To this day, still my number one favorites and number one favorite duo❤❤❤🥺🥺😭😭😭

in some of the saddest goodbyes I had…I found so much closer and peace in those moments, simply because the person I parted ways with and I told each other "I love you.". its such a powerful thing to remind those you share these special connections with and such a humanly beautiful way to capture moments of farewell. I love how this show normalized the sharing of those words between family, friends, partners. ❤

8 months since you posted this and the only other fan I've seen that agrees with me! I've been saying for months that the trailers for Daryl's spin off look just like Death Stranding! And I never even played the game, just watched TH-cam videos of it.
Carol has definitely become a leader. She's come a long way, from the band with her husband, Shane and Andrea, to prison, and how Rick went crazy after Lori died. Rick kicked Carol out, but Carol made a brilliant comeback in the scene with Terminus. Carol definitely has a curse: it has to do with kids. She was a good mother to Sophia, to Lizzie and her sister, to Henry. But with each loss of a child, she seemed to break herself. I still hate Daryl after the crash episode. He knew that Carol had lost Henry, that Henry was like a second Sophia, because Carol lived with him for several years, she had a strong bond with her adopted son. Carol visited Daryl, she trusted him with Henry, she knew that Daryl could help make Henry better. In a way, they both screwed up, but Daryl was only able to understand Carol when Judith was on edge. By the way, the moment where Daryl donates his blood to Judith is literally how Rick gave blood to Carl. These damn parallels between Daryl and Rick as brothers almost broke my heart. I love this first team, they have been together for so long, they are the strongest family that has lost too much. I still hate Negan, by the way. Likewise, I can't get over the loss of Glenn. But I love that Maggie didn't kill Negan and he helped her and took the path of remorse. It shows well that humanity is not lost in this crazy world. Daryl's county symbolizes this very well: it is calm, accepted. Remember the moment Rick woke up (1 season). How terrible the world looked with walkers. Everywhere living corpses, and it caused horror. Now for them, walkers are just another coronavirus or AIDS (sounds terrible, but I can’t find the right analogy). This is a pandemic and people will definitely try to fix it. Mankind is still fighting for peace and love, not for war and strife. I love this damn show, although I only started watching it when seasons 5-6 came out, then I had a huge break, and I recently arranged a marathon for myself and move away from emotions for the second week. I love all the characters here so much. Furthermore, I feel sorry for them all. I can even hate them for any actions. But they are too dear to me. I love!

When this show started both of my parents were alive, my father died January of 2012 and my mother died September of 2022, this show has been around for a while about to start from the beginning, honestly I don’t really care about the spin offs, I was a completely different person when this show began. It's fitting for both Daryl and Carol to see how much they've progressed since day one. When Daryl was introduced, people weren't sure what to make of him. Was he going to be a troublemaking loner and constantly clash with Rick and the others? Nope. Instead, he finds a family and a purpose in this new world. As for Carol, she goes from meek battered housewife scared of her own shadow to becoming a badass leader herself. I'd love to see her late husband Ed try to bully this Carol around. He'd probably think twice before ever laying a hand on her again.
Huh? Carol is not the mother and Daryl is not the kid. They're best friends, not the mother-son relationship. It's their best friend relationship like brother and sister.

There love for each other is the truest & strongest. It was formed out of fear, desperation, hurt, pain, grief, longing, acceptance, understanding, reliability, unwavering loyalty, occasional joy & happiness. I get why some say they were never meant to be together but I say they were & still should be together for the same reasons & more. Daryl & Connie never had the same chemistry or connection. No where near it. Heck, crazy Leah had more chemistry with Daryl then Connie did. They can have Connie show up and ride along with Daryl but the second they have Carol show up looking for her soulmate....that'll be it. Game over. As they say, the camera doesn't lie. They had daryl & connie scenes. Just the two of them but they did not get the same feel, look or response that Carol & Daryl scenes always did. If they did then they would have gone with it. Sorry Donnie fans just stating the facts. Everyone involved with the sequels have said Carol will come back & her journey with Daryl is not over not by a long shot. I believe if all goes well they will bring Daryl, Carol, Maggie & Negan together at some point to reunite with Michonne & Rick. I for one am more interested in a Carol, Daryl & Rick reunion. The three original cast members still standing. (Not 4getting Morgan) Now that would be something to see!!!!
this is daryl just leaving. at this point he had no idea he was going to paris or anything about paris. he was just going out to see what maggie said was.....there is so much more out there etc. and if he found rick or michonne he would bring them home.
Carol should've gotten her own show. I'm glad there was never anything romantic between Carol and Daryl that just woud have been strange. They are meant for each other but just in a BEST friend situation ❤
One thing that I want to point out is that Carol has short hair again. In Season 9, Henry told Daryl that she had let her hair grow out again because Carol had finally felt safe and it probably had a lot to do with Daryl. Her abusive husband would use her long hair against her, so Carol cut it really short. Once Daryl was about to leave, she cut it short again.
This is a great scene that can teach us a lot. Going to look for rick, Being safe and content or comfortable may not be for everyone with Adventure right around the corner. Sometimes taking a risk can work out great or not, plan the best you can, look at it from all angles and see if it's worth it.

As for Carol, she goes from meek battered housewife scared of her own shadow to becoming a badass leader herself. I'd love to see her late husband Ed try to bully this Carol around. He'd probably think twice before ever laying a hand on her again.

Huh? Carol is not the mother and Daryl is not the kid. They're best friends, not the mother-son relationship. It's their best friend relationship like brother and sister.

There love for each other is the truest & strongest. It was formed out of fear, desperation, hurt, pain, grief, longing, acceptance, understanding, reliability, unwavering loyalty, occasional joy & happiness. I get why some say they were never meant to be together but I say they were & still should be together for the same reasons & more. Daryl & Connie never had the same chemistry or connection. No where near it. Heck, crazy Leah had more chemistry with Daryl then Connie did. They can have Connie show up and ride along with Daryl but the second they have Carol show up looking for her soulmate....that'll be it. Game over. As they say, the camera doesn't lie. They had daryl & connie scenes. Just the two of them but they did not get the same feel, look or response that Carol & Daryl scenes always did. If they did then they would have gone with it. Sorry Donnie fans just stating the facts. Everyone involved with the sequels have said Carol will come back & her journey with Daryl is not over not by a long shot. I believe if all goes well they will bring Daryl, Carol, Maggie & Negan together at some point to reunite with Michonne & Rick. I for one am more interested in a Carol, Daryl & Rick reunion. The three original cast members still standing. (Not 4getting Morgan) Now that would be something to see!!!!

Carol should've gotten her own show. I'm glad there was never anything romantic between Carol and Daryl that just woud have been strange. They are meant for each other but just in a BEST friend situation ❤

One thing that I want to point out is that Carol has short hair again. In Season 9, Henry told Daryl that she had let her hair grow out again because Carol had finally felt safe and it probably had a lot to do with Daryl. Her abusive husband would use her long hair against her, so Carol cut it really short. Once Daryl was about to leave, she cut it short again.

This is a great scene that can teach us a lot. Going to look for rick, Being safe and content or comfortable may not be for everyone with Adventure right around the corner. Sometimes taking a risk can work out great or not, plan the best you can, look at it from all angles and see if it's worth it.
