ahhh this was so much fun to watch! very relatable and honest. loved the editing, and appreciate the subtitles cuz they probably take u a lotta time but dw they make the vid better cuz they keep our attention visually too. also, proud of u for working out regularly lmao
Epic video man! Sheesh! My dream school has been Gatech for like three years. Your videos are super inspiring, I get motivated when seeing day in the life videos like this. I already submitted my app sometime ago, so now my I'm just waiting. :) Fingers crossed!
Hey sid!!! Would u mind making a campus tour of the computer science department? I'm not able to find any CS dept specific campus tours of GaTech on TH-cam... I'd really really love to have a glimpse of it.. Anyway, I'm new to your content! You're doing a great job, all the best for all your future endeavors!!
I liked the "analog" pen and paper note taking, in contrast to most people using laptops. 🙂 There's actually studies showing that even though it's faster to take notes by computer, it's better for student retention/memorization when handwritten notes are taken!
I’ve thought about this quite a bit. Honestly it’s up to preference. I like digital notes because I can manually search for a specific word/equation immediately.
I'm commenting on this while watching the video. Hi bro, computer science major here too. I'll tell you why I think this is one of the BEST videos in the "Day in the life of a CS student" niche. You are showing the TRUTH of a student perspective. No 4h breaks, no "searching for a place to study in Starbucks", no fake aesthetic moments. I am not saying that the life of a student should be 24/7 STUDY, but I hate to see those fake videos to share a fake reality. Talking about the video, holy shit dude 130 WPM is fast. I managed to get 125 as my record probably, and still, people in class think that I am fast 🤔🤔 I like the fact that we share a lot of courses, like Statistics (I have both distributions and combinatory, plus other tools for data modeling, like linear regression or logistic regression). Even the Agile course is kinda the same, really interesting. Luckily you got a light semester. Goddamn. My semester right now is one of the toughest having to deal with 4 courses, 3 of which have a project and 2 presentations. Moreover, the other exam without a project is STATISTICSwhich, which is one of the most challenging exams in the entire master's degree. I thought a lot about starting a youtube channel about CS and programming in general, but I always had something that stopped me. After watching this video, something happened. Probably in March when courses will begin again, I'll make some videos like this. It was a very interesting dude and SORRY FOR THE MUCHO TEXTO
The gym at georgia tech is super good!! I transferred in my second year and the athletic center is prob one of the top ones in the region. The athletic center is connected to a massive pool that was used for the 1996 ATL Olympics
