I have one of the very first no limits units installed on my 2022, 392. I'm very happy with it. Bought it primarily for the torque features and MDS delete. Purchased from AWEGOO about 2 weeks ago & the No Limits had been sitting on my desk. So thanks for the video & easily installed the No Limits on my 2024 today. I can confirm no more MDS. Had a question.....I also have a JL Mini and does the No limits feature to automatically turn off Traction Control do the same thing as a Long 5 second Press of Traction Control button on the JL Mini?
Without getting too technical, holding down the traction control button (using the Tazer mini) puts it in dyno mode which shuts down many of the ABS features of traction control, while the NoLimitZ is programmed to control the torque management and still be safe for the vehicle. Similar but different
So to turn on the No Limitz, you hold down the left arrow and press your start button to Run. At what point to you let off the left arrow button? After the hazards flash the 5 times or does it matter when?
What is mentioned on the firmware page is what there is: www.zautomotive.com/nolimitz-update/?_ga=2.116995648.737235023.1734190596-320323907.1710508004
Purchased! Lets go! The rev limiter and enhanced security alone are worth it, let alone all the bonuses. I've already been living with the proximity disabled via tazer.
1) Does the device stay activated between run cycles or do you have to activate it each time you start the vehicle? 2) Does traction control and torque management remain enabled (stock) if you have not used the dash button, or are those items disabled all the time even if the dash button is not lit?
@@zautomotive When the NoLimitz is enabled, is there a difference in behavior when using the traction control button on the dash, or is traction control completely disabled regardless of dash button mode?
From what I understand, disabling MDS without the engine component mods (non-mds lifters, selonoids) will actually cause harm to the engine due to restrictive oil flow.
