Larnell Lewis has such a creative mind, I envy him... At the same time, he inspires me, what a musical experience he just gave me, I had to watch this over and over again! I am in tears, so soothing and mellow... Drift away type of music... Wow😭 Can I get an album please 🙏
This is definitely afrobeats from Nigeria 🇳🇬 It has that juju fela vibe with a lot of Nigerian Pop new school elements. While still being creative and clean. I love this. Brown be making that bass guitar sing
I guess it's probable that the inspiration for this rendition might be from the vibes you mentioned earlier but I don't think it's Afro from Nigeria. This song has been played in various renditions by the song writer, Larnerll Lewis. Let give him that acknowledgement as well. Great post Bro. 🤝
This is the greatest thing I have ever seen in my entire existence this is beyond music and art. I got drifted away holding my head like what just happened I have never experienced something like this before. 👏👏👏👏👏❤️❤️
This is awesome!! Larnell Lewis with Rich Brown is pure musical heaven to the ears!!!! This was beautiful and soothing!!!! I could listen to this all day!!!!
WAIT!!!!! Hold on one KOSMIC minute!!! Where did this one come from?!!! I thought I was clicking on Ukudlala and this came on! I'm sooooooooo blown away! Can we please get info on buying these Ancestral Galactic Rhythmic Vibrations???!!!! Can we?! I NEED this!!! And to like it 50 bazillion times!
This track really brings attention to the deep, rich sound created from that floor tom with the black gel head! I feel like I remember him describing that particular drum having snares on it as well, for more dynamic sound options, but I couldn’t spot any in this video.
What Larnell was playing on the Yamaha DTX Multi, was it a sequence triggered inside the Yamaha muti or it was done using a DAW? I'm curious about that.. I have an old Roland TD-6 and you can have a sequence in the module and use a pad to trigger each note of the sequence everytime you hit the pad, which is clearly what he was doing.
This is why Larnell is the BEST , Rich is a master.
Facts, Rich is also one of the best and underrated bass teachers on TH-cam
@@sambarker6141 Rich's Brownstone thing is like a meditation sometimes. His approach and his voice is like therapy

Six minutes of magic by two Wizards on their respective instruments. Thank you Larnell and Rich, peace and love.
Gentlemen, thank you. Seriously. This is so rich. Thanks for sharing your gifts with the rest of us!

Love the vibes on this track. Some 80s Winham Hill type stuff. Glad to hear two talented musicians doing music like this in 2022.
Gavin Harrison , Larnell and Simon Philips - the holy trinity of creative drumming .

Where's the download and save to phone button! This is so good :D
The bass guitar sound is so smooth it sounds like it's fretless. Great stuff
Inspirational 💯❤️
so beautyfull !!!!
Rich's tone sounds almost fretless like, very nice.
That Dilla quote at 4:34 woo
Cool man. Is that a second snare acting as a floor tom over there? The red one.
It is he uses it as a Tom and flips the snares on to get a phat snare
Freaking great
Hadouk Trio vibes, very nice!
Anyone noticed the little Dilla tribute at the end? 😎
Haha. There's never a bad time for a Donut. 😉
@@richbrownbass Right! 👍👍
