    Unlike many other drummers, this gentleman doesn't just keeps the beat or concentrated on technique too much, he is a MUSICIAN first and foremost, with impeccable taste, every time he actually PLAYS the song and does that thoughtfully and effortlessly. giving each song its own unique texture and character. He plays not only with his hands and feet, but with his head too, so to speak. I have to admit I didn't know anything about Larnell before, but was very happy to 'find' him.

    • @friedpicklezzz
      @friedpicklezzz ปีที่แล้ว +7

      100% agree. I’ve seen drummers with amazing technique like Dave Weckl, but with Larnell I think his musicality always comes first; he is never ‘showing off’.

    Perfect sound, and highly detailed performance. My favorite new drummer. I think Larnell is totally underrated. Perfect cymbal selection n drum tuning. Amazing all across the board. I look forward to every video upload from you !!!!
