Best to this man, he deserves better. He should maybe think about leaving CA too, the state is too expensive and not worth it. 💯
You could always sell your Tesla, I think the resale value is up to $780.
Don’t take these things personally, business is tough right now
Yeah and I do hope he finds a better job closer to home.
even when business is tough you must still go about layoffs in a fair and compassionate way
@@macunion1225 be prepared to not expect anything like that. I know the feeling of being escorted out and not being allowed to get your things. I was part of a layoff of fifty people ten years ago and they take you to HR, tell you, then escort you out. They make sure you can’t speak to anyone. Again, not personal but companies always handle this badly.
@@enriquet548 i feel for you , that sucks , our country has certain code of conduct laws so even before you are made redundant you normally know weeks in advance , those rules change if the company goes bankrupt of course , funny enough its always the US companies that try to bypass these laws
Thank you!
This is so sad he’s basically saying he’s going to be another homeless person in California.
Good guy, hope he does well as a TH-camr. He very optimistic about his future.
Good luck to you may man. Wish you the best
C’mon guys Elon needs his 55 billion dollars salary don’t be so greedy now please
Kids a hustler. I mean that in a good way respect his grind
Security guard told him he was let go....does not make sense. There are policies....
Perseverance and grit is right! Good for you man you're ready. ✊🏼 thats the way to look at life not many people do.
It's not about what happens to you but what you do when something happens.
Why are you giving a time to someone who is well off and situated already and has something ahead of himself lined altogether??!
Police department in Oakland is hiring bro lol honestly if I had a good record I’d become sheriff at a county jail,
your LIFE is not worth working as Patrol Officer.
perhaps as Detective , not cop.
bruh in oakland? they make good money for sure in the 100-150K but i would be scared to go to work everyday.
Yup..in SF there's OT too...but it's scary cuz sf sherriff called on the national guard to help with inmate situation
Easier said than done, tests, app, boot camp etc, tough process 😢
Criminals have to many rights these days makes it more dangerous for law enforcement
Wish you the best 🙏🙏🙏
I feel sorry for him.
For people on h1b visa its even worse. They have to sell house, bolongings and have 60 days to find a job or leave the country with family. Even after they have been living in the US for over 2 to 3 decades.
What business would ever want to be in California
At the end of the day you’re nothing but a number in a warehouse. Doesn’t matter how loyal you are to them, they aren’t loyal to you…
I feel sad and scared seeing this.
He will DO GREAT:) His mindset is above most and living in his vehicle in CAMP MODE= MONEY plus more MONEY:)
Why sell the house get rid of that big car payment first.
He even has Tesla swag
Everybody gets laid off everyday, what m akes tesla layoffs so special?
They had the security guard do it….
That’s pretty low down even for corporations. You have to admit.
@@AbsFabbs You know it's REALLY low down when the janitors have to tell you the news.
I remember layoff in my case
Showed up for work and was denied entry
The badge with magnetic strip was off
And by by.
Just like that
They dont care i guess.
So my 2$Cents
Dont buy bcz you may have a job but like the layoff wave
Can hit any second
So buy with cash
Loans with jobs are a catch-22
@@AbsFabbs he didnt read his email.
@@AbsFabbs that's how they all do it...they locked people out of Google and FB just like Tesla
NO 30 Notice? by email or normal Mail? that's kind of Harsh to find out by your Employee ID NOT working
Sounds like he is living beyond his means if he has to sell his house due to the loss of his job. This situation is really more on him than Tesla. To be fair the whole thing sounds overly dramatic so it can be news.
Remember folks save up and invest. Even the paisa reporters job is not guaranteed forever.
Dedicated to a company not dedicated to you. I feel bad for this guy.
A saddening situation when people have to sale their property and still go to a cheaper way out. My prayers to him finding a new home. You don’t know people situations and shortfalls until one day it could happen to you unexpectedly. A positive image and mind set. ❤ 🙌🏾🙏🏾💪🏾
Elon Musk needed that extra money for his salary increase. Good vibes to this young man.
He doesn’t get a salary. Stock options. He’s not like Mary Barra of GM who ranks in millions.
Delusional answer from obvious tesla hater.
This is the same guy who bought Twitter, renamed it X and claimed if you have 500 or more followers, made over 2000 posts and bought the verified checkmark you can get paid through X. The only ones who are getting paid from X are those who have a lot of followers and maybe a job outside of their social media account. He's probably running a scam on there too considering how some people claim only friends of Elon are getting paid.
Laid off is part of life working the corporate world.
Pretty astounding someone who doesn't own a house and yet spends the bag getting a clown battery car!! Who was he kidding??!!! And now, he has learned his lesson the hard way of:
1. Never work for a battery car company!
2. Never spend more money than you can earn and live well below your means!
Sorry - I don't feel one bit for this dude as he dug his own grave!
Was living way above his means. That Tesla even if he bought it with employer discount probably has close to 300k miles with that crazy commute for 5 years from lathrop to Fremont. Car is basically worthless, nobody wants a high mileage Tesla. So underwater on his car plus mortgage. Yikes
people here talking about no loyalty in corporate America, Steve Jobs got ousted off Apple which he's a co-founder!
Irresponsible and Cowardly of Human Resources to make the security guard tell employees they are laid off.
They need to unionize
We may not earn as much here in Europe, but at least we got some mandotory settlement.
Inspiring story
Damn, got laid off and has to sell the house weeks after. Seems like someone didn’t make smart financial decisions.
Trying to live a life of “luxury” with an income that doesn’t support it isn’t a flex.
Reason why I leave within my means. No cable tv no cell phone. No new clothes and shoes.
I got laid off in '09 from my job cause I did not relocate and got called to come back and been with the company ... ever since that experience, I am loyal to no company. I learned that it is usually a one way streak and you are just a number. I have been concentrating on not having to work in the next couple of years after building my assets.
Been following this guy and he looks like he is making a name for himself on youtube...he wont be missing his job soon...watch
I’ve watched your channel before! Wishing best of luck to you Nico, can’t wait to see your journey. Have you tried maybe start your own company? In whatever it is you do. I work in big tech but I keep trying to do my own thing to leave the rat race.
This was the real meaning of a “bloodbath”
Musk just gave himself a 59M dollar raise. Sick of CEO greed!
Living in your car or van is not the American dream.
Keep living… he is exactly right. This is part of the working experience. All business nothing personal
And he still reping tesla 😂
Post office is always open. Not every district is hiring for regulars though…
And they won't guarantee a full 40 hours either. Plus you have to use your own car to deliver. I could have worked for the Post Office, but they were able to call all the shots so I didn't follow through.
@@joefranks4235 Yep. Recently talked to a few post office employees and while the pay was still relatively good for them, the hours and the demand given was pretty rough.
Where's all the people that foresee over hiring and the instability it causes?
Sorry that happen but how could you not be sorrow at telsa after they laid you off?
Because he knows if he whines, he'll never get hired again for Tesla.
lol fan boys are crazy
every company lays off people. You should not take work personally. be great-full you had the job in the 1st place.
@@timg2973do you work for Musk 😅
@@realnapster1522 how did you know? cuz i was spitting FACTS? Remember no one owes you anything in life.
He needs to keep that positive enthusiasm up because when he's living in that car full-time, that's one resource you don't want to be short of. It's not like you can run down to the market and get some more if you run out.
he can literally, live out of his car, & work for UBER/Lift. to make money.
@@markplott4820Uber is more a scam. Don’t you have to pay double taxes at the end of each year?
@@markplott4820 Of course it can be done. But without positive enthusiasm, it will be extremely difficult. Many folks who resort to car living never fully recover. It's a pretty traumatic experience that takes a toll on many levels most people don't/can't see even after moving back into a building.
These jobs ain’t loyal!!!
After all the crazy inflation the last few years in Taxifornia iI think a lot more people will be doing the same thing.
