Thanks man. 🙂 I think I can never prioritise a peak over a person's life. 🙂 I can climb that mountain again but cannnot bring a person back to life. So, it was quite an easy decision. 🙂
My father's health isn't good and lot unnecessary pressure to get married as I am 28 years old (which makes no sense at all). So, I really don't know when will I be able to go to Manali.
The peaks covered with snow looked so beautiful but it seems like you've put in much effort to reach there... Bad that u couldn't complete the trek but yeah, U won't leave it alone until u see it's the end 😛 Good luck next time 😉👍
@@AskManavTV Hi I am sorry, actually that's mentioned in CG Bruce tour to Lahaul and Spiti in 1914. They named the peak near Yunam Tso as Todd's Giant, on the name of their companion Captain Todd. They mentioned that Todd's Peak was a snowy peak of around 20,000 feet or more in altitude. And near Yunam Tso I can find only to peaks above this altitude. One is Mt. Yunam itself and other is unnamed.
Oh, nice. Thanks for the info man. I had no idea about this. I will definitely read about it and the next time I visit Yunam, I will try to spot the Todd's Giant. 🙂
@@AskManavTV I have a feeling that Mt. Yunam is Todd's Giant, but I am not sure. That book hai images of Todd's Giant. Would have to find some Yunam pictures and compare
So I recently came back from Pin Parvati Pass. This somewhat resembled the same. This definitely is an add on in my bucket list. I really enjoyed the video Manav. Keep it up ! Cheers \m/
Thanks Jatin. Pin Parvati is on my list. Will do it in 2020 most probably. I am glad that you liked the content on this one. Thank you very much for reaching out.
@@AskManavTV Hi, This is Vikul and i have climbed few peaks in India like Stok Kangri & KY2 etc. I am planning this year Oct 2021 for YUNAM. Just wanted to know that what will be the road & Snow conditions if you know. - Do i need to carry my Climbing Boots with Crampons.? - Manali-Leh Highway will be open or not? Thanks in advance!! Man, you are a very good person. If I were you at 300 meters short of the summit and had to return, I would have lost it!

@@AskManavTV Bro, do you have any plans for Himachal for the weeks remained in the season? Because I'm still in Manali. :)

Dhanyavad bhai
Awesome 😋
Thank you very much. ✌️

It is a trekking peak. No technical equipment required if you go in the right season (September)
Can I get contact details of guide for this expedition ????
This is a normal trek and NOT an expedition. Do a norm google search and you will find the details.

No gpx file this time?
Not required. The trail is already marked on offline navigation apps like Maps.me and OsmAnd
Ek number bhai (y) (y)
Hope you liked the river crossing bhai .. haha
Creedaz absolutely bhai 👏👏🙋♂️
Which month ?
August
Bro.. what are your suggestion on hitting this trail in June 1-2nd week?
August - September is better
Crossing river with cold and High speed of water ,,very scary ??
But it is possible if we put all our mind and skill into it.
Can you give me the itinerary with cost..manali to manali..
Do a basic google search.
Excellent video. 9:31 which place is this??
Bharatpur tent colony, Lahaul, Himachal Pradesh

Thank you Pratyusha. And yes, it takes time to reach to the Base of the peak and a summit plan is affected by many real time factors. 🙈
That's so awesome. Could you please tell me about Todd's Giant peak. I believe its nearby. Any new name of the peak?
I am sorry. I don't have any idea about the peak you are referring to.

Any fauji connection bro?
Nahi bhai. But bht respect h defence personnels k liye 🙏
Could have avoided the river crossing if started the trek from a point 200m after the first set of dhabas.
Very true, I had figured out that trail on my way back. Haha
😍😍😍 we will do it together
Target 2020 .. done ☺
August first week
👍
Why everyone looks like zombies?
Because, when the altitude kicks in, you find it really difficult to stay active.
Only 300m man
Yes 😣
use better microphone
Yup. Already saving for it. 🙂
