How I scaled Kanamo Peak at 19,565 ft in 10 hours | Spiti Valley

KANAMO consists of two words, Ka means ‘white’, Namo means ‘a lady’. Kanamo means ‘A White Lady’.
Kanamo Peak is one of the easiest peaks at the height of 19565 ft in the entire Lahaul- Spiti region. Not to confuse with just "easiest peaks".
I started from Kibber at 14,200 ft to Kanamo Peak at 19,565 ft in just 10 hrs. Well, I don't recommend anybody doing that unless you are well prepared and acclimatized.
The trek is somewhere around 22 odd kms to and fro, crossing huge water streams, moraines, boulders, and scree. After all the hardship, one can witness the view of entire Kinnaur and Lahaul-
Spiti region, clear view Mt. Chau Chau Kha Nilda and Shila Peak from the Kanamo top at 19,565 feet above sea level.
One day Itinerary of my trek to Kanamo Peak completed on 14th September 2017-
Day 1- Kaza to Kibber, HRTC bus from Kaza leaves at 5.30 PM
Day 2- Kibber - Kanamo - Kibber and back to Kaza by Hitchhiking.
