Good job Maanav! Loved the video and most importantly the message "Leave No Trace". I hope our country man understand the importance of that. Looking forward & wish you good luck!
Thank you very much backpackingsoul. 🙂 And yes, I feel that 'Leave No Trace' is one of the most important principle that every trekker and nature lover should follow. It is important that we leave the place as clean as it was for others to experience.
Hi Manav and Izhaar ! A beautiful video indeed ! You guys are nature lovers for sure and love venturing out on various treks. Have watched your wonderful videos on treks today. I have subscribed for your videos as well as future notifications. You guys are awesome twosome ! As a well wisher I would like to make a few suggestions from safety point of view for your next trek to such high altitudes. Consider wearing special snow shoes with spikes for better grip on ice as you tend to slip on ice especially when you encounter hard ice, secondly please wear sun glasses to avoid UV rays at this altitude and lastly there might be hidden deep crevices when you encounter cracks in the ice,so please be extra careful by just using your ice axe before you put your foot down. Please avoid sliding on the slope downhill on ice,as you might suddenly encounter the end of the hill into a steep drop ,which might land you up in problems.Yes ! sliding is real fun but it brings dangers with it,so be sure where you slide. IF I HAVE OFFENDED YOU IN ANY WAY BY MY SUGGESTIONS, PLEASE DO LET ME KNOW, I WILL DELETE MY COMMENTS. Its just out of concern that I have jotted down a few suggestions in my comments, for your next trip on the snowy mountains. I'm a nature lover too and have done mountaineering while I was in Air Force. Would be waiting for your videos in future ,as your videos provide me info about places which I might consider to visit. Watched your video on Andharban today and would be making a visit there, post monsoon for sure with my husband. God bless you and keep posting such wonderful videos ! Take care !!!!! :-) :-)
Hi there First of all thank you so much for such a beautiful comment. I got the notification about the comment and the moment I read it, there was a constant smile on my face. I always used to believe in the power of social media, and specifically TH-cam. Thank you so much for reaching out to me. And I ALWAYS keep safety as my priority on all the treks. The glissade (sliding) that I was doing was not at all risky since the slope was very long and safe. Further, I don't prefer micro spikes until and unless I really need them, rather I focus on doing treks with minimal dependency on equipment. However, I had a pair of micro spikes in my daysack. Further, there were minor cracks on the trail, there were no crevasses and I was paying due attention to all the slopes that I was negotiating. And Izhaar is indeed a great inspiration and a dear friend. I would request you to please drop a 'Hello' on my WhatsApp number 8946-823-824 just because I interact with all my subscribers personally as much as possible. 🙂🙂 Thank you once again for expressing so much love and concern for the channel. It really means a lot to me. 🙂🙂
