That sniper is also very upgradeable. I have one and I've upgraded the barrel, spring, piston, etc on it. Performs amazing with not much money needed to be put into it unlike many other snipers on the market

Apparently some raiders dont have fake bolts. I thought they all did.
Been rocking the CM16 Raider L for 9 years. No modifications to it other than taking the orange tip off and replacing it with a moch suppressor. It runs amazing and has pretty good range being stock. Highly recommend it to new players.
Some of the most fun I've had in airsoft was with a second hand combat machine. Works surprisingly well for the price

If u want a god tier first gun get a combat machine, you can upgrade them or polarstar it, I've been playing for five years and my go to gun is the combat machine that i dropped a jack into, its amazing

@@TrickshotEntertainment I mean, to an extent, you dont need to spend a hundred dollars on a full face mask, 30 dollar goggles and a mesh mask will do, you can get an operable gun for 150 dollars. Then its just bbs mags and accessories.

G&G Combat Raider has always been a great beginner option! I know many dudes who use combat raiders as a backup gun incase their primary breaks.
That’s what my field has as it’s rentals.
The CM16 Raider 2.0 was the first gun i got and i heavily recommend for beginners, especially in the UK, its reasonably affordable plus allows for many attachments, i personally had a grip and a holographic sight, as well as the gun being really simple to maintain, no matter how much i banged it or threw it, it recieved not a single crack or critical damage, the batteries are easy enough to charge and have a long running time, plus its legal on CQB sites across the UK and can hold its own outdoors, as i even used it on a large military base milsim and it held its own, shooting through the bushes and buildings, plus it can be used for long range engagements, but i would recommend the heavier bb's as its pretty windy in the UK, so without those heavier bb's they'll go astray :)

CM16s are often modified by airsoft pros into very high-end carbines for CQB. Definitely one of the best picks for a beginner BUT it's really loud and makes an unpleasant sound when firing.

Nylon is a world apart from plastic, hold a cheapo cyma or lancer tactical then hold a combat machine from G&G and you'll feel why it didn't crack.
Should reccomend cyma shotgun, that one has a hop.

Lol couldn't afford a combat machine with my parents budget for my birthday so I ended up with a Valken asl series gun sometimes labeled as battle machine online but it's about the same only it has a polymer exterior but mostly metal interior goes from around 160-190 it is essentially the polymer version of their alloy series

You can never go wrong with a trisbot shotgun and a pistol for when you need to reload because you only have 1p shots and they can rush you. Unless your alfonse, make sure it jas a stock. The spring gets tiring.

I recomend to not buy the M56 (shotgun) for backyard shooting because it really isnt great for aiming, its purely for CQB. I bought one and i did like it, but since where i live there is no way i can play airsoft i barely used it. I know why people want rifles or SMG's but sometimes its better to get a budget pistol that can do most things well if you arent 100% shure of what are you going to use your airsofts for. In my case, since i cant really play i switched to pellet guns and it has been a severe improvement for me. If you want to do backyard shooting, make shure to get a gamo pr776 or maybe even a whisperer if you have enough space/budget.
this helped so much as I'm new to airsofting the AR was the perfect size fps and feel for me
personally, i would highly recommend new player not to get a shotgun or sniper rifle. It is a budget option to start, however most new player with no experience are going to get destroyed by other players shooting 20~30 rounds per sec at them. I think a AEG assult rifle would allow new players to enjoy the game more.
That saod second or third gun, shotgun and sniper rifle would be really nice to have.

The asg m40a3 is awesome put in an aps2 m150 and a maple leaf omega nub, Teflon the cylinder head and hop rubber. Easy 250-300' shots. I love mine.

CM16 with 310 fps... meanwhile mine in the EU came with 410, the difference is unreal :D (The specs said it would come with 360 for reference)
I do actually have that sniper and its deacent but if you upgrade the hop up and make ur fps a bit higher it is a beast for that price. It actually shoot so accurate

I am a newer player and I got the G&G CM16 and it is a very nice, sturdy, and accurate gun. I suggest to whoever gets it to put a red dot sight on.

It's worth noting that you could put in a MOSFET pretty easily if you have a soldeing iron and a bit of patience

8 years ago, I started with a $20 mag fed single barrel shotty my girlfriend got me for Valentine's Day. I got roasted but it was surprising how decent it was!
Later upgraded to a CYMA Tri shot shotgun for $80 or so. It's still one of my main backups today! Really reliable.
First AEG later was a Redstar AMD-65 and that was decent. The charging handle broke off.
Later got a VERY long AR-47 from CYMA and it's great but not that good for CQB. $200something bucks

My fist gun was a cm16 raider, upgraded it to run on lipos, new hop up, new barrel and some other stuff, the thing is a beast for like 70 bucks more.
What upgrades? I wanna change mine so it can run in lipos in a budget.

I got a $130 Colt M4A1 airsoft gun for my birthday. I’m excited to go play in a competitive game! The only place near my house had like a 350 FPS minimum and my gun is like 370 FPS so I’m hoping I’ll still be able to go.

a pvc pipe, put a tiny hole into it very close to the ´´front´´, then put a tiny metal stick into the hole, you can put the bbs in without the fear of choking on them, and depending on how strong you can breathe, you can have a very good ranged shotgun, but make sure that the bbs barely slide freely inside the pvc pipe

you will get the best experience with the 3 guns and eventually upgrade them all with better springs, rings and such for the gun and sniper spring, with the aeg you can absolutly go in and upgrade all parts and make it a average and decent gun as well

The 2nd gun is P788 Cyma,Dcobra,etc.Just Upgrade the Inner and Hop Up plus the Compression you can get a deadly gun to use at long range around 50-60m and you can modify it to become Bolt Action...

At Camden,, I've been watching norvritch for like a year and a half . Then I find silo... I've had to move during that time. In Canada, didn't know if there was any here. 3 weeks ago I find out my neighbor is right into it... he's taking me next weekend, I'm going to use his gun . I'm 50 years old and I feel like a kid .. I use a G&G Combat Machine and it is able to hold its own on the field. Great starter with some fair upgrade potential. Very sturdy.
Got an m4 for €109 around Christmas but I only got to use it for the first time the other day because of COVID and all but it definitely performs well and I would recommend a similar gun on a similar budget
