British/Irish interviewers seem to not care much about Prisoner, nor know much about Prisoner, so they’re not going to be any good at interviewing any cast/crew(?) about a television series that we all love. 😃
@@Summer21. I love Prisoner but it's a low brow tv show and it was a cheap import that was several years old. So, interviewers didn't take it seriously
Wogan was always arrogant to Australians. Many of us would put his Irish arse right in its place, especially since many of us are of Irish ancestry ourselves.
It would help if they actually got interviewers who were also fans of Prisoner to interview the cast. Wogan was so boring and clearly had no interest in the show. He probably only heard of Prisoner when the producers briefed him on his guests. He knew nothing about the show, it seemed like he was just going off memory on what he was briefed.
Amongst Terry's worst interviews, getting names wrong and constantly talking over his guests. Prisoner was huge back then, us Stoners would Religiously watch it(2-3amish) in between listened to Pirate Radio playing Rave music. Really was a great time to be alive. Im a Londoner but saw friends in Essex and like Chrissy/Amanda said- the show was at different places all over the Country.
Terry's syrup gained a few grey hairs when he mistakenly called Val as Amanda and was corrected ...quite right too ! Imagine if Val called him Benny ? Benny Wogan ... not too clever .
Well she's a Cockney who moved to Australia in her late teens, so yes you are right, she's probably a lot more like her character, Chrissie Latham in reality!
This is great. Val and Amanda looked amazing ! I love PCBH xx
A slightly awkward interview but love Val and Amanda. I’ve never heard Amanda speak out of character before, what a classy woman!
❤ love them 🤩 xxxx
i love Vals confidence she truly is a Queen
People are still watching it in 2019, it's ageless Wogan was a snidey git to them
❤ them both!! Great characters!
But Bea Smith will always have my heart 💓💓💓
Love Bea and Chrissie.
Val is so aloof in all her interviews. Amanda is a hoot!
Definitely had an ego
I agree with you both. I like Amanda and some of the other actors from the show, but Val isn’t one of them. 😃
Loved this
I'm afraid Wogan made a total ham of this interview. Lehman and Muggleton made a brilliant recovery and carried the whole interview through.
Richard Booth agree. This interviewer is hopeless.
He seemed to be so uninterested like barely could hide it, he couldn't even get their names right, terrible interview

They are just lovely...

Terry Wogan is 10 years and 2 months older than Amamda Muggleton who played Crissie Latham in Prisoner Cell Block H
Bea and Chrissie inspire me so much

Fletch was the dad.

I have seen Val on many shows, she seems to be putting on a posh voice here ?
Amanda always says the prison doctor but it should be the psychiatrist which is a doctor but technically I guess that's wrong
It was the social worker that she stabbed.
Compared with Freaky Furguson Vera Bennett was a lovely lady.
I'm watching it now on my5. Hilarious! I am a true Blocky.
Amanda seems faux posh

@@josephd.2725 Wikipedia says she was born in 1951 and emigrated in 1974. I agree her accent sounds fake. Chrissies accent sounds more authentic
