I have seen this actress in the u.k in the 1990s , at Ispwhich train station. I think it was about 1993 . I was getting off at the train station , and it was departing there. And i was getting off with a pushchair and two young children , so i took a while, and i saw her there and called out its Bea and she turned round and i knew it was her
Thanks so much for adding this. I haven't seen it in 21 years but I remember it vividly. I was on work experience and videoed it, then had to dash home on my lunch hour to watch it. Was a really exciting time because I think it was the 1st time Val Lehman had done an interview on UK tv and it was just after the great fire episode had screened on Central. Val as charismatic as ever. Great stuff.
Loved this series as a young teen. Bea was one of my favourites but I enjoyed all the characters. I am watching all the episodes on TH-cam, what memories.
When I used to watch Prisoner Cell Block H (which is what they called it in the U.S.) Val was my favorite actress and Bea was my favorite character! Thanks for posting this!
Richard always has been a tool. Judy is lovely. Met them as a kid whilst I was out in Didsbury with my father. Where they used to live. As I said, Richard was a tool and so entitled, Judy was lovely. The meeting was by sheer coincidence. We were shopping near to a branch of a well known supermarket in East Didsbury. Go figure.
She said in a further interview that she did get paid for the ongoing boxset dvds and other merchandise, but bragged she was the only one because she knew how to read a contract!
That wasn’t the question she was asked! If it gets screened again in the UK she’ll get paid as it would be the 3rd time! Likely the reason it hasn’t been since the early 2000s!
I find it rather funny how Val does not like Neighbours but 28 years later decides to make a cameo with her old friend Colette Mann who played Doreen. Hmmm interesting.
@@elizanne6660It's funny as It does seem like she loves to talk about herself when it comes to prisoner and her own life most of the time and only mentions others within the prisoner click occasionally.
...I don't give a twit about the sets...the acting of my fave Aussies is all I need !!! Love to all !!!
The best show ever

Bea Smith killed 3 people - the third was Nola McKenzie
+Bobby Gathergood Nola McKenzie deserved what Bea did
I used to quite like Anna Soubry. Now she's a Tory MP... I don't like her any more.
She's not happy now!!!
All the worlds a stage for Australians..born actors
I wonder if Heather is still watching!!
Lol .. the random title card of the grubby feet at the end.
ywah - and on Breakfast time tv as well !
@@booth2710 it wasn't breakfast tv, it was mid morning til noon
Had richard never watched Cross roads..? The sets were just as bad if not worse.
Shame they couldn't even spell her name right in the 'aston'! :(

She has to stay in the limelight somehow, you know. The fame from the show went to her head.
