I was 10 and this was the only thing on ch 3 late at night, my tv only got abc and 3, But I got so into the show. The story lines were a bit dark for me at 10 but maybe as it was so raw is why I got into it. I never saw how it all turned out. Loved the fast forward parody of it.
Oh my god ... letters from Alcatraz? That prison was closed in 1963, and Prisoner didn't start until 1979. I reckon that Val and Amanda might be thinking of Attica, or maybe San Quentin. But you'd think the hosts (especially Karl who is a know-it-all) would have picked up on this statement. Goes to show, you don't need brains to host a morning chat show. That said, I am up to episode 456 and I still love the show 40 years on ...
I have been trying to find out what the real name of the little girl who played chrissies daughter Elizabeth was called. Its just that she looked so like Amanda muggleton I wondered if she could b her real life daughter.

Chrissy killed the social worker Bill Jackson not the doctor Greg Miller.
Top 5 greatest characters: Vinegar tits, Freak, Bea, Lizzie, Chrissy.

That 'little girl' was a boy. The son of the writer Ian Bradley.
Letters from Alcatraz? Seeing as Alcatraz was closed in 1963 and Prisoner started in 1979, those must've been either from ghosts or tourists!
Haha! Too funny!
Didn't Fletch get Chrissie pregnant?
No someone else
it was someone from Barnhurst
No it was Mick O'Brien from Barnhurst
lizzy birdsworth would have smashed them both
