    I visited Denver for the first time last month and I was shocked by how fit the people in the city are. Like you, I don't know if they are a product of the environment but I rarely saw any obese people.

      No because they are working a 100 hours a week to pay for rent.

    Awesome video, wish I could have known this before moving to Denver late last year! Denver does hold a special place among many places I have been to and I will certainly miss the skiing and hiking I did during my time there.

      James, definitely connect with a Realtor that has experience and deep knowledge if planning on purchasing when you move here. My in-laws are in Houston and the real estate market is pretty different.

      What made you make the move? Just curious because I’m debating on moving to dallas/Houston/ Denver. Was Houston not what you thought it would be?

      Same. In March! Cost of living has gone up to much. My rent increase by $500 a month because all of the Californians keep moving here. So ready for this fresh start

    Where do most japanese live in Denver?

    • @fromtk_
      @fromtk_  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Japanese community in Denver’s (Colorado’s) pretty spread out, so I wouldn’t say there’s one place where you’d find a lot of Japanese people!

    Hi TK, can you give me some good neighborhood names in Denver? I am looking at bigger house with more land (lot size) for family of 5. Thanks!

    • @fromtk_
      @fromtk_  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on the price range and age range of your family (like if you need to be close to schools, parks, etc.) and what you're looking for but I feel like Greenwood Village and Washington Park areas nice. They have more houses than apartments (and not as sketchy as the downtown area - LoDo, RiNo, etc.). If you are also considering areas outside of Denver, then Aurora and Highlands Ranch are good too!

    • @joekkl
      @joekkl 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@fromtk_ $1.5M - $3.0M. prefer single family home. Kids age between 5-10.

    • @LixtianShanghai
      @LixtianShanghai 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@joekkl Im originally from Denver, been living in China for 12 years, now looking to move back. Your criterias are similar to mine, so for single family houses in Denver metro area. consider City park, Aurora, Highands ranch. Greenwood village/DTC area is generally the nicest suburbs outside of denver, but prices are higher, if you looking toward 2 mil for 5 beds, u should check Greenwood village too. The other areas I mentioned are slightly lower in price.

    Does it rain often in Denver?

    • @fromtk_
      @fromtk_  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Denver's known as one of the sunniest cities in the states! Even if it rains/snows, it typically clears up quickly :)

    • @tb5124
      @tb5124 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It hardly rains ever! I actually miss the rain since moving here from the east coast. The air quality is also terrible. Been here since June, only positive so far is that it's less expensive than where I lived prior.

Please don’t be offended but I would like to date an asian girl like yourself, as I never have, any suggestions on where to find one there?

    1. Don’t.
    Please. If you do, be a productive person, don’t wreck the environment and if you are from California, remember you are a refugee and not a missionary. You left for a reason and don’t be full of yourself. You have no claim or right to this beautiful land.
