My grandmother had an ottoman just like that, except her’s was emerald green velvet. Since I was the youngest, I always sat on it during family gatherings. I just want to know what Richard said about it 😂. I love the chenille spread as well! Thank you for the shopping excursion 🫶🏼
I lucked into a George Washington Queen Chenille bedspread exactly like the one you got at one of my local Goodwills here in western PA. It is cream color exactly like yours- it was in pristine condition but the best part was it was only 19.99!!

When you were standing near the mid century glassware, there was a tall, red vase ( also in your thumbnail, the tall, skinny one), and I remember my mum having the exact, same vase when I was growing up. It was given to her back in 1970/71. She had heaps of that kind of glassware, including a few ashtrays. I remember how heavy those things were! I don't know what happened to it all, maybe she lost in or got rid of it when we moved in 1987. It's a shame, as I'd love to own it now, as it's worth a fair bit now. And U know she's probably rolling on her grave over it all!
