@@ethantrejo1205 and even if he did have a gf, it’s important to note that some people may not date the gender they are into because they wanna see if they would like that gender, you can still be lgbtq even if you date the opposite gender because there is more to lgbtq than just plain old gay, or he could be bi (not forcing labels, just saying the possibilities of why he had a girlfriend if he had a girlfriend, because if he didn’t, then it was probably a girl he knew well and got along with well). He got a last minute call on Friday 5/20 to stand in - and it was like he was rehearsing it for weeks, not three days. Great performance.

I saw The Lehman Trilogy at the National Theatre in London. I too was blown away by every aspect of it. Three hours never went by so quickly. It was a very weird experience for me, because, unlike most of the white Christian audience, a lot of stage business probably went right over their head. At intermission I explained to my neighbour on my right what the gesture of putting your hand on the door jamb and then putting your hand on your mouth was all about. It’s an automatic response for Orthodox Jews even today. At the second intermission I had to explain why I had so heartily laughed at the scene in the Hebrew school. One of the brothers was acting up and the teacher cuffed him. In those days you could get away with it. I know, it happened to me many times. British theatre goers rarely give a standing ovation. Too reserved? I don’t know. This Canadian was on his feet the minute the stage lights came back up at the end. For a moment I was all alone but then a lot around me slowly followed my lead. Bravo, Brits!
