    Awesome information. Are you available for hire to help me remotely in order set up somethings with a canon m50 mark ii, loopback, OBS and my mixer?

    Amazing tutorial! Thank you for making this.
    My setup will be more simple in that I only need one webcam. Should I just route that straight to zoom (forget obs and can twist) and then use all the audio things you mentioned in the tutorial?
    Really just looking to have waves plug-ins live on my mic for zoom calls. Routed through Logic Pro to get the plugins to work.

    Great help here, thank you so much! Thankfully because of learning Dante audio routing I got a head start in the concept 😁. 3 questions I have is: 1) because I use Dante Controller, can I use it instead and likewise get audio into Zoom 2) I use Dante as audio source for Logic Pro, so if I change it as you indicate does that disallow me to use Dante overall and 3) I noticed you don’t talk about a “recorder” device, is that because this setup is just for streaming?

    Great video
    Is it possible to route audio to 1 voice artist to Logic. 1 to the voice coach . Thank you for your help in advance. Great video…

      yes, just make separate channels for each audio stream in Loopback and make extra channels in Logic to feed them to

    Thanks Roch, very useful video. Currently using a slightly more simplified set up including Soundflower for the audio routing, but Loopback looks more versatile all round - I’ll give it a go. Re the camera feeds, Camtwist looks great, but as a drummer I’d ideally like to be able to have two angles simultaneously on screen throughout a lesson. I currently use OBS and screen share that to students which has mixed results- for slower playing it’s great, but speed up and it becomes jerky and looses clarity. Is there anything you’ve used as a halfway between OBS’s simultaneous multi-cam layout but with the performance of Camtwist? Thanks in advance.

      @RoshRoslin  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Gareth,
      I’m a drummer too so I have multiple angles happening simultaneously.
      Use the PIP function which stands for Picture in Picture which is located in the bottom left hand corner of the camtwist program. You can then overlay each camera feed to the main feed as well as adjusting the size of each angle etc.
      If you need further help contact me privately and we can set up a 1:1 session.

      @@RoshRoslin Thanks Roch. Greatly appreciated, and really useful to know Camtwist has the PIP feature too. I’ll get into it and hit you up for a 1-2-1 if I have any issues. Thanks again!

    Great video, thanks. Still can't get stereo, though enabled the "Allow....Stereo.." setting in my account on zoom site, enabled all the Hi Fi, stereo etc..in zoom app settings, "Original sound on" on Zoom video window.Tested it with Loopback 20mn trial with the plan to buy Loopback, but still get a poor mono signal even with all Loopback virtual connections. Using Motu interface, 10.5.1 Logic Pro.

      @RoshRoslin  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      A lot of it will also be contingent on if the other person on the zoom call actually has stereo enabled and is panning correctly. There isn't much you can control on your end.

    Good video! Any experience/guidance on ECamm Live? I’m guitar player/singer with a UAD Apollo twin x and a Line 6 Helix. I use ECamm. The setup (wiring, routing, software) settings for playing and singing with my gear for recorded videos or live stream and having it sound as good as what I hear on monitors eludes me.

      @@RoshRoslin I loved this question 'cause I'm testing the Ecamm app ... Obviously very capable but the whole "chain" needs to be good quality. From the camera + capture card, microphone, loads of different otions in Ecamm, _and_ the price, it's around USD 38/m for the Pro version (otherwise you don't get it as a Virtual camera..). But it would be cool to hear your take on it.

      @RoshRoslin  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@HomesickMac I have been using Ecamm on my phone as a second (or third) camera angle and it’s been really great. You just switch to ecamm as the source and my iPhone streams the video over the shared WiFi.

    • @HomesickMac
      @HomesickMac 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RoshRoslin I've come a long way with Ecamm since.. Running weekly livestreams w. 3 cameras into the capture cards/computer, Ecamm scenes and it's great. Only problem is (was) to send the audio to ZOOM. I have Loopback but after lots of experimenting I lost it haha. Luckily it works by sending out audio from Ecamm,to BlackHole 16ch and then bring it into Zoom as microphone.

    BTW, I just learned I can use my Dante Via already using (versus Loopback). Any advantages using Loopback over DanteVia you know of? Also, just watching your video again. You showed how to use Zoom with OBM, but not how to with CamTwist. Just wanting to know CamTwist can too?

    Hi Rosh, this is great! At the 6 minute mark - unfortunately, with my DAW, (Ableton) it's not recognizing my Loopback device as an output (input is recognized, however). Your thoughts?

    • @RoshRoslin
      @RoshRoslin  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Glad to be of help. It depends on your output device and interface. I'll do a follow up with ableton. You may be able to just use the regular output from ableton.

    Hi Rosh, thanks for this helpful video tutorial. Is it possible to bring an audio signal from a Zoom attendee back into Logic using Loopback Audio?

    • @RoshRoslin
      @RoshRoslin  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you can create an output from Zoom and put into a seperate additional channel and then bring that audio into logic by arming the track on the matching channel

    OMG I'm having so many problems with this - can you help? I bought Loopback, had to use the earlier version though, as my Mac is an earlier version. It all works fine except...when I turn on Record Enable to hear my mic input in Logic, there's crazy humming and it gets louder and louder and starts clipping!! Seems like some kind of feedback issue but I don't understand why! Any hep greatly appreciated because I really need to get this going! xxx

    • @RoshRoslin
      @RoshRoslin  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      What's happening is there's sonic feedback when you have the mic input open in Logic, I would recommend using headphones if this is the case.

    Hey! Thanks for the video! Man please help me) I have such a situation that I need to connect a sound card in a loopback to which a microphone and my acoustic drums are connected! also spotify music to which I will play the drums! but the problem is that I have a delay between spotify and sound card and everything that is connected to the sound card!when I connect everything in a loopback and play to the music from spotify, I get delay between drums and spotify! I also don’t quite understand how I can bring everything into the monitors so that I can hear all the music from the spotify drums microphone and all this without delay!sorry for the large amount of text) you are my only hope)))

    • @RoshRoslin
      @RoshRoslin  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You would need to monitor directly from your soundcard so there's no latency in your ears. Whatever you send to zoom would be from loopback
