I see one crucial item/Armor missing opportunity for this build in particular! Claw Talisman and Raptors feathers! You have lots of jumping attacks ! That would make it even more deadly

Yeah definitely I’ve suggested the pairing in some comments for people still trying to get some talismans. I really need to do some ‘best [item type] videos. Some talismans are just S tier!
My favorite thing about the Magma blades is their optimum stat spread is the same as the Magma Wyrm Scale. So you can switch between them an be a melee fire god

I carry them both on my my lvl 230 build
My fav armor is skeleton mask malikeths chest plate godrick knight gauntlets and malikeths greaves
I always recommend getting the Millicent prosthesis first because you can get the winged sword insignia until your second playthrough (although it’s weaker than the rotten version) it still stacks with the prosthesis

I know this is a bit late but there is an elevator in the room with the crawly bro between the 2 serpants you farm to make it quicker.
You could add raptors black feathers for jump attacks as well for more damage.

The reason magma blades are so good is because its fire, fire damage is one of if not the most effective elemental damages besides magic.
Yeah, this is news to me as I was reading loads about how fire damage isn’t great….multiple sources.
I’m not sure that magic is so better than other damage types. It may be generally less resisted… but it can be buffed in a different, and in my opinion, worse way. Most of intelligence build don’t have access to golden vow (there are alternatives, like the skill instead of the spell, but it is very great), they don’t have flame grant me strenght or howl of shabriri, and the “intelligence” gameplay is quite basic. Just spam night incantations, comet azur or other broken spells, and hope the boss doesn’t start attacking you or moving too fast

First of all, thank you for this guide, absolutely inspiring. So much so I spent the whole of last night using this guide to farm what I needed for the build. My tenacity paid off. Tonight I've had a proper shot of it and I'm in love. I thought nothing would keep me away from my arcane dex bleed build bollocks and Elens Poleblades. Elens because I cant remember how to spell her name lol but this is a keeper. I'm in love again. It quite literally melts. I have 50 endurance so I've decided to use the Champion outfit and run lightweight and because it looks bad@ss, and the manouverability is unmatched. Still got that little bit of tankiness too. Keep up the great work bro! Amazing content creator.

Yep, you can farm away until you have 2 of them.
I just farmed two of them, def doing this build for DLC, level 160 should be perfect sweet spot!

@@k1y_zI respeced to arcane and it still took me 8 hours. I ended up getting 2 out of 3 of my last runs.
What’s a good substitute for Millicent Prothesis? I was thinking Dragoncreast greatshield tailsman to help balance fire scorpion. Thoughts?
You could def use DCGS talisman yeah, offsets the defense nicely. Also, you could put the claw talisman on and the raptors black feathers chest piece and then you have a double boost to jump attacks, which can hit very hard as powerstance jump attacks 👍😀

You could try flocks canvas talisman to boost the power of the incantations if you’re going to use them? Or maybe just a utility talisman like erdtree’s favour +2. Power stancing jump attacks are always fun. So maybe Claw talisman and maybe even the raptors black feathers armour to stack

if you want you can do what i did and get the rotten winged sword insignia then kill milicent to get both talismans in 1 play through

I got two magma blades within an hour on PC. Completely stoked because it took me almost 2 days to get both on PS5
Does the dropchance increase if leveling arcane?
@@harzerharald It may help. Max Discovery is 324 I believe. I was only running with silver scarab talisman and silver mimic tear helm and was sitting around 200 to 250 discovery occasionally using silver pickled fowl foot for a boost. I used about 30 fowl feet and didn't pick the item up while using them.
Hard to say if it's worth rebirthing for extra arcane. While on paper it should help, ive never felt like it's helped.

There is a talisman in the DLC that increases Magma damage, I wonder if this would be better in place of the Fire Scorpion talisman? 🤔
What I also added with this if you want one more defense incantation cause you're taking to much physical damage Black flame's protection is amazing

How do these actually do against fire resistant enemies like fire giant for example? Any major issues there?
Weird thing is, I beat Fire Giant quite easily. The successive hit boosts from power stancing was really effective 😅

The Skorpion stinger with the use of the stacking multiple Hits shouldnt the unique talent of it with its 5 to 6 Hits be quite a killermove ?

my gripe with this weapon is how hard it is to farm this, even with the silver scarab and silver pickled fowl foot items

The buffs stack multiplicatively so Golden Vow + Flame Grant Me Strength will be 1.2 * 1.15 = 1.38 so 38% instead of 35%.
I prefer having the Dragoncrest Greatshield talisman always equipped because late game enemies deal ridiculous amounts of damage.
Nonetheless this is a great build. Still watched the vid even tho I've already tried pretty much every possible build in this game.

For that extra damage, won't black dumpling helm even make it do more damage? Helm buff stats 60 seconds after activating buff
Well you can only have 1 body buff and 1 aura buff. So it depends what kind of buff it is, as it willl be replacing Golden Vow or Flame Grant me Strength - so it will need to be a stronger buff than the one it replaces :)
Fair point, is howl of shabriri not giving a 25% buff without including the buff from black dumpling helm itself (10%)?

I'll never know why you didn't just throw the Banished Knight's armor set (UNALTERED)....Overall better no if ands or buts about it....still medium load
100%, maybe it looks cool but I’m sure there is another non-set combo that could even beat the Banished Knight’s unaltered set and still get medium load…very easy to do with a bit more effort.
Banished Knight Armor is a hard drop, but so are the Magma Blades…especially 2.
Maybe even sub out Millicent’s Prothesis for Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman to be a bit more of a tank and/or Black Flame’s Protection. Increase poise, still just as fast.
I’d give up the minimal dex and attacks boost from Millicent’s Prothesis to increase my physical damage negation by so much more…depending on the enemy.

So the putrid at Calid erdtree isn't spawning for me. I don't have any of the rewards in my inventory so I know I haven't fought it. Any ideas why I can't seem to get it to spawn?

It’s powerstancing ☺️ - equip two for he same type of weapon and then L1 will be powerstance attacks ⚔️💪
