NMM is good but this is NG as whereas NG say 5 or higher it’ll have a niche useage but it does respectable dmg since it ignores defense and phase transition

It's got a lot of tactical use in PvP as well I just never made the connection that doing a set amount of damage basically means it ignores damage reduction, which to my knowledge, nothing else really does
So now that the DLC has finally added a dual catalyst, this run can be done with Incantations included. It does require 25/25 to use, but it could be spawned as a milestone.
44:54 that one slightly lagged frame of Godfrey doing his big grab by leaping through his own dust and out of a Cannon of Haima is one of the coolest things I have seen from this game. He looks like the Hulk, or something, it's awesome.
Honestly, randomized spells looks _really_ fun. I've always been a fan of items in games with a large pool of completely randomized effects, and this challenge is basically an entire playthrough of nothing but that.
That earlier Cannon of Haima at 44:44, where the particle effect dissipated at the same time as Hoarah Loux's roar, also looked cool. Looked like Hoarah literally blew away the magic by screaming at all.

This run would be so sick with ash's of war, I don't know how would get more over time, maybe by buying them from the Ash of war guy, or from what ever weapon you pick up you get it's Ash of war. But with all the somber weapons in the mix it makes a cool run where you would want to find new weapons and somber ones. Idk just sounded cool to me. Thanks for the content man!

After the enemy felled at ~4:54:xx.xx, I have not been able to get "cut that out" out of my head. In addition, I think it would've been hilarious if the only thing you did end up fully cutting was the entire death animation, like split-second "cut that out" after the final attack hits until right as the runes are collected with emphasis on the rune collection to drive the rebelliousness home. Of course this is just me thinking out loud. :p I'm no expert in design. Already a wonderful work of art as is! Thank you for the great content! ^_^

He should do a run where everything is random. His armor, weapons, level, stats, spells, and ashes of war should all change evey few seconds. The world should be randomized, item drops should be randomized, and bosses should be randomized. He should also try and get the lord of frenzied flame ending because this run would be pure chaos. Or bubble only

Dragonmaw is legit my favorite spell in the game. With spectral lance to deal poise damage, you can poise break lots of bosses. Having said that, elden beast/malenia are rough. Dragonmaw can most other bosses well enough tho, it's a really fun spell

Everyone talks about 44:53 which is extremely awesome, but underrated is just before it at 44:44 where the cannon hits him point blank and he just roars in anger like it barely tickled him/pissed him off
May have to try this mod. I'm addicted to magic in games and went out of my way to rely on pebble as little as possible because I knew how powerfully flexible it was. Maybe not every .1 seconds but I could definitely enjoy a playthrough of my spells changing every 3 seconds or so.

I'd be curious to see an incantations version. Also, you don't *have* to go to Altus to fight Radahn. You can defeat the plaza fight and talk to Jerren to start the festival. I grant you that that is way harder, though!
The automated youtube ad system is so cool, I love getting an ad right before every single pivotal victory and defeat because it has the most watchtime
Reminds of that one wild magic oriented character I made for a DnD game. It was homebrew. A wild mage that has "wild" but not the "mage" part. There was, absolutely no "spell". Only "effects". I had a magic item that, helped me "store" an effect. But catch is, that effect had to be used. So sure, fireball centered around yourself. You can hold it, but now it occupies a spot. And I had 4 slots in total. So one way or another, I had to cast at least oen of the bad effects to hope for a chance to get something good. Game started with two "fireball centered around yourself". At level 1. Good days... Oh also, in my hands, no effects can cast a spell or spell-like effect deterministically. Any effect that does something similar turned into even more wilder effects. It was such a mess.
I love how when aggy did this on ds1 with random weapons, he dropped it down every second for every boss. Now that he's playing a game with more bosses he was like "yeah lets make it worse by dropping it by half every single time."
The secret to Glintstone stars (and similar spells) is that they get fucked a lot more by flat defenses, so if your build is just barely passable for the enemy your fighting they'll be doing next to no damage while your bigger spells will still be doing okish damage.
I want you to know that the change in quality in editing is spectacular, especially for freecam. you and bushy are taking this type of content to another level
