I noticed you forgot to mention something very good for firestorm. That if you end a combo with the torpedo then you can immediately do molten trap (if they didnt do a tech roll or they dont have wakeups that get them away from that spot quickly like batman's slide) and they are forced to block low( because they are still lying on the ground). That is basically how I get a defensive player off guard and Im surprised how much it works. Anyway good video.
Im playing firestorm since launch and i can clearly say hes not a low tier , but also he lacks alot of things such as safety. He does do good against many characters but this lack destroys him cuz every wrong guess (even if you dont even get anything from the guess besides a hard knockdown) is a selffuck. Besides that i see 2.other problems , his antiair and his trait , taking a look at his antiair i can clearly say antiairing on reaction is not possible , his current Aa's are db3 and d2 if he actually gets a db3 antiair the damage is scary , up to 400 damage for 1 bar , even wakeup antiairs are possible (as you can see on my latest video) and this allows every batman a free jump in without having to worry about anything. The second thing is his trait , the trait recovery is very stupid , currently 58 frames , there's 1 stringt that garantues his trait which is d1332 , but itGarantees it by 2 frames , that means u r forced to take the next wakeup in corner situations , the other thing is his trait timer it takes 35 seconds to fully charge it , then u got 10 seconds to get something going. My suggestions would be : Buff d2 startup or reduce the time it takes his fist to rise up Decrease trait recovery to 48 frames ( currently 58) Make b12 -7 (currently -10) Change the active seconds of the trait to 15 seconds or decrease the time it takes to fully charge to 30 The other things would be tiny add ons , for example his MBbf1 does go away on hit means if i hit you 1 cm before the shot hits me it disappears. Also if u hit someone with trait lv3 b2 theres no way u can make it unclashableThe next attack will usually be always clashed , maybe launch the opponent slightly higher for a b3 ? so u dont lose his trait right after u made on correct guess Also during trait lv3 db3 launches which means ur d1 becomes a combostarter , sadly the following moltentrap is really inconsistent , making it difficult to hit him , maybe the opponent should launch slightly higher as well ? Covenant Realm here's my theory. You know how you get 3 placements on the molten trap? close, mid, far. To execute each placement you must do a certain input. The close molten trap is bd2b. Now what if the input for the molten trap would be db2? What would the close placement input be then?
