he can handle the other zoners thanks to his ex fireball. its not easy but he can fight. even dr fate. supergirl and superman can be problematic because their counter zone forces you to take risks you wouldnt normally take. batman trait is also hard for firestorm to deal with

Honestly, REO's breakdowns are much better than the ones we saw in the Watchtower series. I'm going to use these to decide who I want to check out first once I get the game, though most characters look pretty cool so far.

That's pretty easily baitable, but I can't think of a better option. You can patiently work your way in all day long and then ZIP, he's on the other side of the screen chucking fireballs and frame traps at you. Sad Day.
karaokelove good chance he'll get nerfed. Almost every character seems op in this game ahaha. And then there's the blue beetle who's destined for bottom tier... it'll take a couple months before it's truly balanced

Should I play injustice/mortal Kombat on pad or fightstick? When I watch players like sonic fox it makes me feel like pad is faster overall
Play on what you're most comfortable using. There are some people who play both of these games using stick and some who play using pad. I wouldn't go out and purchase a fightstick just for this game if you don't already have one; sticks are a big investment
Should have mentioned I started on a Xbox 360 controller years ago but then went out and just bought a stick. Took 3 months to get used to but now idk my movement is just... Different...
Keaton Waugh what do you prefer? Personally I use a pad because I find fight sticks awkward. You won't be at a disadvantage though because the inputs aren't difficult so go with what's natural
Keaton Waugh NRS games are designed for pads. 4 button fighter with r2 / rt to ex moves. the majority of pros play these games on a regular PS4 controller.

not really at all. There are only like four or five true hard zoners, the rest can be played hybrid(ex. Captain Cold) or just have some zoning/anti-zoning abilities to make them well rounded(ex. Black Adam), as well as a lot of character with no real projectiles, or wonky projectiles that are more for poking, mind games, and set ups and such.
I already have a feeling that he's going to be annoying online.
Raiden's EX DB2 (The fire circle thing), Raiden's BF3 (thunderfly REO mentioned), Kung Lao's D4, Flash's Overhead. The only brand new mechanic they added was the fireball which is the fastest projectile i've ever fucking seen. Nice job NeatherRealm, you could have made an incredibly fun combo-heavy game, but instead you decided to make every character a zoner and recycle moves. Can't wait to lose 70% of my games to zoners chipping me away with 7-10% projectiles.
Think I'm full of shit? Go watch Pig of the Hut use Dr. Fate. All he does is shoot those god damn projectiles, just like he did with Zod in Injustce Gods Among Us.
