I am 56 years old, and have been crocheting off and on since I was a child. Since finding your’re TH-cam channel, I have learned more than I ever thought I could! Thank you, thank you, thank you! You’re work is beautiful!
Thankyou so much for teaching me how to crochet these beautiful granny squares i never thought id ever manage these but your tutorials are brilliant you take time to explain it step by step thankyou
I started crocheting in lockdown and I done few blankets but I done this flower and doing big blanket I'm very impressed you are so easy to follow and I'm loving this and it's looking amazing so thank you
Thanks for this!🌼My first time making the daisy and turning it into a Granny Square. Rather than begin a full corner like you did, I chained up 2 and added 2 more DC's then went right into the first row with the half double's. I finished the starting corner as I came back around by adding 3 DC's, chain 2, then connected the corner with a slip stitch in the top. Chained up 3 plus 2 DC's to begin the next round. Much easier, looks neater, and eliminates the need to slip stitch to gain the right position.🌼🌼
I made a the daisy granny square blanket that you have a pattern for. Absolutely loved it! So pretty and impressive looking, yet so easy to make! I am definitely going to be using the pattern again. Thank you!
Thank you!!! This was the best tutorial ever! I was very intimidated to try the pattern but following along was so easy and not stressful! I love this granny square ☺️
This is a beautiful Daisy granny square!! I’m going to make a baby blankie using this dainty pattern! Thanks so very much for your excellent tutorial! 💕🤗💕
Thanks so much for a nice clear easy to understand tutorial. I crochet a lot for charity and was given some sparkle yarn in pink and blue and i had some white and yellow, so I tried this daisy square and the result was stunning. I never expected it to come out so good with scraps of yarn, but it was stunning and I almost didn't want to give it away. Too bad You Tube doesn't have a place to post pictures. I would love to show you the finished product because of your wonderful tutorial. I am not on instagram so I can not post there. Again much thanks.
Hi Rebecca oh my goodness these are so gorgeous love them.they are so versatile too.thank you so much for sharing.i will make a blanket for the children's charity I crochet for..💙💝💙💝
I love watching your videos. Your instructions are clear and easy to follow. I have a question. On the center circle you slip stitched into the 1st proper stitch instead of the top of the chain. This is helpful because I have trouble finding the top of the chain. You didn't do this with the other rounds. Is there a reason you do the top of the chain and not the next proper stitch? Thanks.
Thanks so much Mary! I only tend to skip the chain stitch when working in a circle, when I work in a square I find slip stitching into the chain is fine. 🥰🌸
I have tried many daisy granny squares, but none came out as good as this one. Very well explained. Soooo pleased. I can make my blanket now, after having to give up previously. Is there a plain granny square pattern this size, so I can alternate a flower with a plain one in the blanket. Thank you 💕
Simply amazing! I'm thinking I'm gonna try this using brown for the center, the petals in yellow and maybe a bright green for the granny rounds. Kinda like a Sunflower. Thanks Rebekah!! 💖
I really like the pattern. The only thing that I wish about the video is that she did it a little bit slower. As a new crochet I constantly had to stop it or rewind it. But overall I did love the pattern.
Rebecca ,those are adorable !!! Lol I’d need to start them at Christmas to be ready for spring 😂! Is there a way to make something like ,Christmas bobble granny squares ? I could start now to be ready for Christmas 😉. Happy Easter ! Misty ~
Pattern in US terms Round 1: Slip knot. Chain 4. Insert hook into first stitch, slip stitch. Chain 2. Double crochet 11 (At this point, your work should be looking a bit like a heart). Ignore the chain 2, and slip stitch into the top loops of the very next double crochet. For the color change, chain 1 and snip off the end. (Be a good person and weave in your ends. It'll save you a lot of heartache later) Round 2: (Make sure your work is facing you. The tops of the loops should be facing towards you, and it might curve inwards). Get a slip knot with your new color. Insert into the top loop of any double crochet and slip stitch. Chain 3.
1st round 12 dc/treble into mr or centre circle join with slst 2nd round [3 tr/double treble] ch2.. slst between 1st and 2nd pedal 3rd round attach between pedals [3 double/treble, ch2, 3double/treble] [3hdc] [3hdc].. join with slst
I’m sorta confused, you said at the very beginning that the chain two counted as a double crochet yet you skipped the chain two and slipped stitched into the first double. So that gave me eleven doubles around instead of twelve, so i was wondering how did you end with twelve double crochet?
@@BlossomCrochet oh ok 👍 either way you just have to make sure there is twelve double crochets correct? I love the little squares that you made. I gotta get some made❤️

Just started to learn to crochet and I’ve picked a hard first project🤣 I only have 9 petals!!😩🫣
Could you complete the first granny round and then switch to your "no twist" granny?
Pattern in US terms
Round 1:
Slip knot.
Chain 4.
Insert hook into first stitch, slip stitch.
Chain 2.
Double crochet 11
(At this point, your work should be looking a bit like a heart).
Ignore the chain 2, and slip stitch into the top loops of the very next double crochet.
For the color change, chain 1 and snip off the end.
(Be a good person and weave in your ends. It'll save you a lot of heartache later)

(Make sure your work is facing you. The tops of the loops should be facing towards you, and it might curve inwards).
Get a slip knot with your new color.
Insert into the top loop of any double crochet and slip stitch.
Chain 3.
Do you have this available as a written pattern?
1st round 12 dc/treble into mr or centre circle join with slst
2nd round [3 tr/double treble] ch2.. slst between 1st and 2nd pedal
3rd round attach between pedals [3 double/treble, ch2, 3double/treble] [3hdc] [3hdc].. join with slst

When you slip stitch that chain two still counts as a stitch, and you’ll still work into it in the next round, so you will still have 12 ☺️🌼
@@BlossomCrochet oh ok 👍 either way you just have to make sure there is twelve double crochets correct? I love the little squares that you made. I gotta get some made❤️
So I got wanted to take me but I had this Christmas. I would like to show you bye

Ich würde sehr gerne Ihre arbeit nach Häkeln, aber ich verstehe kein Englisch.Die Gänseblümchen-Granny gefallen mir sehr gut. Schade Schade.LG
Why do I always finish up with 11 petals?
You & me 🤭🤷♀️

Do not recommend for beginners. She goes very fast when instructing. You will likely be rewatching sections multiple times to follow.
