Highly recommend to save up 10 pririte shards and buy the secret door in Dina’s shop before anything else because it gives you another heal stim

The fall to death mechanic is Cal falling X distance, not hitting a death floor like most game. Not the biggest fan of that choice but with the scale of the game it helps out with puzzles not being skipped as easily.
If you want a cool little attack glitch. When you get the dual sabers get the first skill in the dual saber skill tree( attack and jump back) once you had to have that hold LB or L1 press Y/triangle then once you throw the saber while holding LB/L1 press X you’ll throw your saber jump ahead and attack (it still thinks both sabers are in your hand) and then sorta ran backwards great for attacking and making distance!
Also incase anyone didn't notice while playing, if you run into a stem chest where you get a stem upgrade if you already used your stems it doesn't just give you one but will refill all your stems so not only do you get an extra stem it will refill them so no need to rest at a meditation spot if you don't want to

7:20 You can turn off fall damage in the settings to prevent this. You'll still die from really high distances or from falling off a ledge into the abyss, but it helps a lot.
My issue with it is if I'm purposely trying to traverse up and I fall off the side and have to restart because I don't die thank you but no thank you 🤧
@@nostalgiadroplets8222 you'd have to restart on death anyways. Sure you might fall in an area that might require you to go around but its quick
Falling from really large distances?
You just die if you fall 4-5 meters 🤣
Even if there was a floor in the next centimeter below you, that's really annoying
You still respawn when falling from high distances. I believe it’s just so you don’t lose your XP.

I found both the directional and audio assists leading to the next objective pretty cool and helpful however the audio pinging can get a bit annoying

The commander outfit and a full beard+bun hair style makes Cal look like a matured jedi like clone wars Kenobi. Great look

This game is actually pretty great. Much better than FE. Only complaint is the brutal frame drops in performance mode.
I recommend spending your 1st 5 data discs on the exp upgrade.
this woulda been helpful if i didn't completely ignore all the collectable shops until i finished the story 😂

Why did you make Cal look like the superdouche bad guy from a 90s romcom?
The force moves you get access to towards the end really made cal feel like a high level Jedi even on Jedi grandmaster.

Gonna explore with calm and do the quest and at the end explore full and try every costume I didn’t bought the deluxe cause it’s only 2 outfit and with the normal preorder I get the obi wan costume
That headband look is the best.
I held off purchasing until the 18th and luckily the newest patch released the 20th so for the most part it’s playable and I’m enjoying it.
Caij also gives other enhancements, not just blaster things
Very early on you can receive a perk from a vendor that greatly increases your xp gained, perfect for early to mid game.
Appreciate the video, the crossguard is my least favorite stance in the game. Works decent for some slow bosses for me, but generally not my playstyle, which is odd because I normally prefer slow and strong attacks. I think it is because of how often this game mixes up melee and ranged large groups that was giving me the most trouble with it.

At 5:00 you were saying that you get it early in shattered moon, but I'm not sure because I went for shattered moon aswell but I think you can get it at the other planet once you fight the guy for the item
you only get the crossguard on the shattered moon. You need to finish the story quest there and then you have it

Same here! I started out on Epic settings, with no issues so far. Still trying to decide between "Quality" and "Balanced" for my final graphics settings, but will work on it as I go. Loving the game so far with no issues!
@@justineby8738 honestly as long as you’re getting good fps and don’t have major dips and stutters id keep it on quality or turn it off completely
i have 3070 ti with the same cpu and i cant get more than 37 fps on medium graphics... yesterdays patch did almost nothing... sad PC noises :(

i dont have the cross guard saber yet. i dont think id use it a lot as it’s slow. i prefer being swifter in my attack

Im just hoping they do something about the framerate drops. Running it in performance mode and even in the first 6 hours there are far too many sections where the frames drop noticeably.
On my Series X, it performs much better in the graphics mode than performance.
@Jason Soler likewise. But while that at least makes it playable, you shouldn't have to lock to the game to 30fps on a seriesX to achieve such.
Did they fix the PC performance issues yet?
One thing i find funny with the crossguard stance is that he struggles to wield it as if it's heavy. It's a light saber, how can it be heavy?🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I literally just brought this because you can do double bladed maul twirl leap towards enemies.

if you’re playing on controller, I highly recommend binding parry to left trigger. Feels much more natural and is much easier to hit in a panic
I did the same thing. Left trigger was block and right trigger was attack. Square felt awkward to me
Triggers take longer to pull and register clicks than bumper buttons.
Personally the default sensitivity felt too slow for me, i bumped mine up to 6 and it feels very good, only problem i have with the game is as people say, the performance issues are pretty bad, not Anthem bad, but i have high hopes that we'll get one or two big patches to fix it. You can only do so much tinkering when the game isnt released, but now that it is, they basically have the entire world as test players to see what needs to be fixed. Just need to hope they pull through
Also, i dont see how the map is confusing to people. its a 3D map.... just look at it.....
It's unplayable on my end. Constant freezing, fps drops, stuttering. Can't even get to greese because it keeps freezing every cutscene.
I played Fallen Order and it was a great game. I want to play this on PS5 but I’m going to wait until they make some patches.
Its not bad on PS5 at all, especially not after that 1.0.2 patch that PS got first
@@gvzi It plays pretty well across the board. Frame dips on performance mode but currently doesn't seem to be going below 40 outside of cutscenes. It's such a good game.
dont spend too much skill point on resetting the skills, once you unlocked all the stances then choose wisely what stance you want to use. also i recommend investing on the confusion skill tree rather getting jedi concentration coz u still can get ur force increase by exploring with that weird glowing thing. i got lot of tips but i already forgot most of them xD
also dont worry if u cant get into a one area its better to explore the map and it highlights everything then come back again... Annnddddd i know this is too much time consuming there are some areas hidden but not really so keep ur eyes peeled! x

What's everyone's stances. Right now I like Dual Wield & Crossguard (maybe more so for aesthetic rather than effectiveness lol)

I had to put dual wield away since the animation canceling made it too easy. I ended up running twinblade and stance 4/5 for the whole game.

Was really hoping for curved hilt stance but I understand why they didn't add it.
I think one thing I’ve realized and have been a bit upset with is that the crossguard is very weak and not worth using in grandmaster, the dual wield has just been the best in ever situation for me
The devs said its used as an aggressive style of combat sacrificing gaurdiant and parrys for out right damage and staggers

This game is growing as Rpg but I think still misses dialogue roleplay from Kotor, a Revan outfit with his hood, mask (maybe robotic voice), jedi robes with hoods, more customization in light sabers like a curved lightsaber
What outfit do y’all have on, when getting the crossguard?
I’m just now playing the game, but I’m totally going for his mid-part long hair/clean shaven with a black/dark blue combo of Exile/Duelist or jedi. Plus orange lightsaber (crossguard stance) in the style of Ulic Qel-Droma.

Probably one of the best games I’ve ever played in along time I beat the game an have all achievements 100%.
Animations look unnaturally sped up in wide fov.

tbh the crossguard was my least favorite stance, im not really a fan of the slower stances, i preferred choosing between single, dual wield, and blaster.

I’m considering getting this game. How open world is it?
It is a lot more open than the previous one. The two main planeys, Koboh and Jedah are extremely large, especially Koboh. In the begining however, a lot of areas require skills that you learn further into the game. So it is not Gta but still very open
It's absolutely not open world and I don't know why the person in the comment above mine would blatantly lie to you like that.
Personally, I found it pretty open world! On my second play through, highly recommend

Yeah I spent a while trying to find it on my series s so I just assumed it doesn't have the option, probably stuck in performance mode but for me it's running pretty good.

Love the game but it keeps crashing. Crazy they charge more for this and it has so many issues. I never complain about this but it crashed 3 times within 20 minutes.

LOL did you not watch the video?? He explains it. But you have to progress through the main storyline when you get to Jedha and after you meet with Cere. From there when you'll eventually have the option to go to the moon of Koboh where you can get the crossguard stance. (ps Crossguard is way cool dealing with boss/mini boss battles)
Jedi: Survivor gives you 3 new Lightsaber styles
Blasters, Cross Guard Blades and Dual Blades
There were no Dual Blades in Fallen Order
There were a few animations that showed this, like the lightsaber throw
But it didn't actually have that lightsaber style
