    Oil
    Garlic
    Onion
    4 teaspoon Chinese five spice or ngohiong powder
    Salt & pepper to taste
    Spring onions
    Lumpia wrapper
    Oil for frying
    Wrapping batter:
    2 cups cornstarch
    1 1/2 cup water
    3 teaspoon paprika
    SAUCE:
    2 tablespoon soy sauce
    2 tablespoon brown sugar
    1/4 teaspoon 5 spice or ngohiong powder
    1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
    5 tablespoon water
    1 egg white

    This was my everyday lunch way back when I was in elementary. Meron akong baon na ulam pero ibinebenta ko sa kaklase ko ng 3 pesos para ibili ko ng ngohiong, that time ngohiong was only 3 pesos per piece. Haha. Kasi gusto ko nga ngohiong ulam ko. Haha. This was one of my childhood food.

      Mas maganda po ang cornstarch kasi mas crunchy po ung ating ngohiong lalong lalo na pag malamig na tubig po ung ating ipangdilute sa cornstarch.

      Cornstarch po kasi nakasanayan kong gamitin at mas satisfied po ako sa outcome nya pero depende na po yan sa inyo kung gusto nyong subukan ang flour.

    Nag crave jud ko ani for more than 10 years na hindi na ako nakakain nito. Last ko na kain nito is 2005 pa.
    Pwede pa request idol? Pabutang unta sa description sa baba kung unsa ka daghan or unsay sukod sa mga sanggkap sa pagluto. Gusto jud nako mokaon ani. Pila kabook mahimo sa isa ka lutoan. Basin d nako mahurot ug kaon hehehe

      Pasensya na sir wala nako maihap kung pila to kabook akong nabuhat ato nga ngohiong .pero walay problema sir ug madaghan nimog buhat kay pwede mana nimo ifrozen lang ang sobra after nimong mabalot sa lumpia wrapper dayon magprito lang ka ug sakto lang nimo nga mahurot,dili mana madaot basta nakafrozen lang.unya kung daghan rapod ang imong sauce pwede pod na i ref lang nimo ang sobra pwde moabot pana ug 3 days nga dili madaot basta nakaref lang gyod inita lang ug siguro kung kaonon na nimog usab.

      Yes po pwede substitute sa ubod ang singkamas o dabong pwede pod haloan ug taugi sir tama lang sir mga 1/2kl - 1 kl depende sa imong karne ikaw lang mag bana bana sir.

      Pwede syang umabot ng 3days o hanggang 1 week basta naka chilled lang sa ating ref at papainitin nalang natin kung kakainin na.

      Kung wala kay makita na five spice maam pwede nimo isubstitute ang ground star anise,ground cinnamon stick ug ground cloves pwede ra kanang 3 ka spices imo lang sagolon

      Pwede po cguro pero hindi ko pa po nasubukan.pero kung may ground star anise,ground cinnamon stick at ground cloves po kayo pwede na un pang substitute ng five spice..

      Para sakin po mas masarap ang ubod ng niyog pero kung walang available ok narin po yan na pang substitute.

      Pwede ka magcombine ug 1cup water,1tbsp soy sauce,1 tbsp.vinegar,1/4 cup sugar,onion,garlic then pabukala maam tapos magtunaw ug gamay cornstarch/cassava flour para pampalapot sa sauce unya butangig sili aron mohalang.
