    I find it very interesting that Japan maintains part of this historic culture to these days through the usage and appreciation of these classic illustrations and other arts. This mystical, beautiful and full of life Japan can be found not only in pop culture but also in real, daily life. It's so fascinating. Goemon games were the way I was introduced to Japanese culture when I was young and I love it! Great video.

    Amazing. Games starring a legendary bandit with lot of traditional references: Nezumi Kozo, Benkei in the bridge, Yokai, political geography from Edo era, and now… art. I love Goemon games due to the cultural references mixed with absurd humor and a cheerful atmosphere.

    This is awesome. Seeing all the art influence in the goemon series is fun. Also, is all that artwork Public domain? Konami be theaving otherwise.
