Happy New Year everyone! Thanks for making 2020 actually a great year for my family, myself and the channel. We had so much fun and can't wait to bring you more retro gaming memories and content in 2021.
You had amazing parents. It honestly reminds me a bit of me and my son now both are gamers love new and old school stuff. I can only hope I make him as happy and proud of me as a dad as you are of your dad. I had parents thst put me down for liking games. I wish I had a dad like yours. RIP
I wanna say im envious but at the same time happy that another kid got a wonderful christmas day. On 1994 christmas day i got one of those ultraman toys that was almost like a squickie toy really low quality probably made in china, and that was it. Living in the Philippines back then really theres only enough for paying the house and food. Toys and videogames were a commodity it meant your someone if you owned it. When you got your sega cd tyler i got my first console which is the Famicom with 2 games super mario and galaga thats all ive owned and shared with my brother. You are very lucky to have the opportunity to be blessed with gifts like that. Lol watching this brought me back to my childhood too around this year hahaha thanks for sharing
I can relate. Here in the US, not everyone has the luxury of receiving that many gifts either. The family in this video was very well off (rich) whereas most of the kids I knew when I was growing up during these times were happy just to receive 1 or 2 games. Not thousands of dollars in games plus other gifts all in a single day. So yeah, while these videos are fun because they're a bit nostalgic when it comes to the games and accessories, they are not an accurate reflection of most people's Christmas "hauls".
damn and all I got for X-mas 94 was a SNES Sports set with Stunt Race FX, NCAA basketball and NHL Hockey. and a portable CD Player haha . I kid, I wish I Had these kinda X-mases but I'm thankful for what I did have. I prob got a bunch of GameBoy Games too in 94 now that I think about it.
I never knew U-haul was a fairly old company. For those wondering yes they’re still around. I’ve passed by a few parked U-haul trucks a few times before.
Yeah, I can't remember even KNOWING one kid growing up that got thousands of dollars in games plus other gifts all on a single day. I know I sure didn't. Sad that in this world so many people go without (fill in the blank), while others have more than they could ever need. And that blank can be filled in with almost anything and the saying still applies.
@@The_Insanity_Plex It's fine, I'm sure Tyler's dad worked 100x harder than those poorer kids' dads. You know, it's the free market working, supply and demand and such. No shade on Tyler and his dad tho, good on them for getting that bag. Just ragging on this absolute dog shit system we live in where you don't even need to live in an ex-colony like the Philipines to experience poverty, you can live inside the imperial core, the most powerful and wealthiest superpower in the world and still experience the same level of poverty.
