Consider temperature and condensation when the tent is not properly vented. Ive noticed that when temps drop, significant condensation gathers on the aluminum bar at the top and then drips down on you or the mattress.
Thank you for your comment. In fact, our zippers have already been glued twice at the seams during installation, so you don’t have to worry about leaks. Thank you again for your fair review of our products.
@@CustomCraftedDesigns I think it leaks at the joint where the strap goes into the tent used to close it up after use. It’s a long strap you can grab and it pulls the clamshell top down.
I think the zipper stuff isn’t necessary if the fly is working well. Had a few big storms in my IKamper. After 2 years had a seam on the roof rain fly leak a little. Zipped it up and ran my diesel heater in it for hours, dried out everything. Next sunny day I seam sealed the fly. Last thing I want to do is replace materials.
Hey, so now that you have owned it for some time, what are your pros/cons of this style of rff ? I had the clam/wedge style before but I really like the idea of this style RTT. Would love to hear your input on it. Thanks!

So far, I love this tent. It’s had a lot of good nights of camping. Thank you for stopping in to address this.
What made it leak if they are glued at the seems?

@@CustomCraftedDesigns the seams are glued twice doesn’t mean the zipper is waxed and can’t leak themselves during hard rain I’m guessing.

Curious if you’re still having the leak issue in the tent or did you figure out how to stop it?
Are you able to close the tent with a sleeping bag inside?
Yes. I have two pillows and two sleeping bags.
Pumpkin orange jeep? I'm voting for "Spookly" as the name of you Jeep! There is nothing that fits any better!
I think the zipper wax will solve the problem hopefully 🤞 great video
If you have to, pull the mattress out and live them in the garage to dry.
Edit: I guess I should had watched to the end first! 😂
Lessons learned from mistakes! 😎👍 I bet that ypu won't make those mistake again!
