I feel like this theme gets a lot of undeserved hate, and i've been waiting for someone to finally cover it. And holy shit, does this deliver.

Loved this theme since first hearing it, not going to stop loving it. It has some incredible expression character-wise for Chimata and does quite well with it, being a composition of ZUN of course lol

Chimata’s theme was definitely one song that I wanted to get used to, even when during my first listen didn’t appeal to me, but after listening to it several times convinced me how good this theme is, and your cover make me love it even more, amazing piece

A lot of other orchestral arrangers never manage to avoid making their arranges sound empty or too synthetic or worst case scenario both, you accomplish that on most of your submissions so that's fucking banger already.
I also really like that you always add a small little something of your own to your arranges and that you don't just 1:1 copy the OST like you're changing the soundfont
Last but not least I was really doubting whether Immemorial Marketeers (killer tune btw, Touhou 18 f'ing rules) could even sound good as an orchestral piece and you just smashed my doubts like I keep smashing my hopes and dreams lmao

When the Free Market gets its own boss theme
Oh my goodness, this arrange. Upon listening to the original, the part of Chimata's theme that stuck out to me as my favorite part was the slower bit that starts around 2:07 here and extends into the powerful, energetic part starting around 2:27. Your cover captures that energy even better than I hoped and, in my opinion, changes it into something extravagant truly fitting a final boss. This was my first time discovering your covers and I'm so glad I did. Addicted to this song now.

chimata is cute and her theme slaps hard. I found it pretty weird the first time not because its doesnt feel climax but i feel like its kinda "messy".

These Orchestral covers are of pristine quality! I loved how intense it was, fitting for such a dazzling colorful boss. (Speaking of colorful, I would love to listen to a Lunatic Princess cover.)

@@ssbbmaster Honestly, this is the least I can say. I've been listening to your remixes for a while now and their amazing at worst, and mind-blowing at best. You manage to make songs that are mediocre initially, a masterpiece with the first three notes. There might be people just as good as you, or bigger than you, but I've never had the same experience listening to someone else's. You actually care about this, and that's amazing. So thank YOU for making these, and not only making them, but caring about them.

I found this randomly through youtube's recommendations and thought I wouldn't like it since I usually find orchestral remixes of touhou stuff pretty boring but you've made this work so damn well that I was really impressed. I actually loved it, it managed to keep up the intensity of a fight all throughout the track, without getting boring or repetitive, it had its more chill light parts as well and even parts added by you that fit really well. This is indeed "epic final boss music"! Definitely made me want to check what you've made so far xd

Man, this is truly epic. I really agree with you about how it takes time for new Touhou themes to grow on people. When I first heard this theme I was like "wtf is this", but now I really like it; not my favorite, but I like it still. I wasn't a huge fan of UM's OST ingame but damn does this rendition sound amazing. It's incredibly foreboding in the best way.
Often times, it takes time to get used to and appreciate the music in each of ZUN's new games as he is constantly changing style.
That said, what do you think of the OST (and in particular, this song) now?

to my knowledge, a remix samples and manipulates the audio from the original. a cover is more about changing the instrumentation, style, etc. though, both terms seem to be used interchangeably for some reason, so i wouldnt worry about the difference too much

I'll be honest, this sounds like a smash bros ultimate remix of chimata's theme
there is a possibility Reimu or Marisa (maybe both) could be the final smash character though I highly doubt they will, and that Chimata's theme would be highly unlikely to be in the game even if they were actually chose, oh well we can atleast hope for a mii coustume with maiden's capriccio or Marisa's theme.
