The first Touhou EWI came out in 2008. Imagine being so determined to make animations about Touhou girls playing electric flute in swimsuits, that you will end up doing that for more than 14 years. Winn is truly one of the treasures of the Touhou fandom, and should be protected at all costs

I really appreciate animator's attention to detail for Chimata's design, I've seen too many artist omit that she has *actual clouds* in her hair and just settle for making it deep blue or violet.
Winn started out drawing school swimsuits like that because they're really easy to draw (you don't need to draw distinct clothes since they're skintight, just add a few lines on the body), and they cover enough to be tasteful yet modest. He kept it up even after his artistic skills grew because it made his videos unique... Though I do think it sorta _became_ a fetish for him over time, going by some of his other art.

No, it's not a fetish, the reason they are always in swimsuits is because at the beginning the author could not draw clothes, so he just drew all of them in swimsuits. Later he have learnt how to draw clothes properly but just thought it would be funny to continue drawing them in swimsuits.

I've done that just so I could at least be able to defeat the final boss on the epic difficulty with no troubles. Not that I'm overleveling my party members though. (That flash/indie game series and Touhou both were my childhood TBH)
