- So I went for a bit of an interesting route, I wanted the first half to sound like a smaller ensemble and then for the latter half to be that of an event-esque type of concert. Also yeah both are set in the city because despite what you may think, conjunto andino as a genre is a pretty urban concept.

Well I thought marketeers still fit pretty well bc of Bolivia’s informal economy, where theres a loooot of street vendors in commercial areas, and in the place I based off the thumbnail which is in El Alto. It seemed like a preetty busy place to me

I always love the art in these videos, it gives off the feel of being in a CRT without actually having to use chromatic aberration or motion trails so it 's just so unique.

Well tbh considering how history in peru went it couldve been an interesting thought. That’s to say though, unlike japan peru and its native religion had been throughly syncretized with christianism. Especially if the supposed andes gensokyo exists at around the same time as the og gensokyo would have, id imagine that at the very least it would be like how buddhism is in og gensokyo, if not even worse because ppl everywhere by that point believed in god first then everything else. It could definitely be interesting to imagine saints showing up akin to how people like miko showed up in og gensokyo like for example san martin de porres lmaaoo.
@@Someone45356 Yeah, sure. While in European Gensokyos (mt. Olympus? Ireland? Iceland?) Christianity would be the clearly opposite force to all native gods and "youkais", in Latin America (as well as in many regions of Russia) would be a serious split between "Christianized mythical beings" and "Oldschool mythical beings". Maybe in Peruvian Gensokyo would exist even such projections of Christianity on Quechua culture as Inca Jesus and Santa Maria as fertility goddess (I forgot the specific name). Though, in og Gensokyo we have never seen some really huge figures like Amaterasu, Gautama Buddha or, idk, Lao Zi

@@umniareport7385 I'm sure Christianity and remnants of pagan culture and beliefs would coexist in such a setting, as they do now in Eastern Europe. People here believe in Orthodox Christian values, but are still somewhat superstitious and celebrate some of the rebranded ye olde holidays like Maslenitsa.

This specific genre does have a lot of remixes, most of them by the same circle, you can search then by using the word "Andean", Andean remix, Andean version, smth like that, touhou music sounds good with flutes and quenas.
@@SAGHEyeah Jersey to Yukaina nakamatachi makes some pretty good stuff. I tried to make mine a little different by changing the instrumentation on the second half though

To be honest, a touhou game that takes place in south america with THIS as the music would be so amazing.

Mas bien que ese grupo fue una de las razones por la que empeze a hacer la musica de touhou que hago. Siempre dije, pucha pero que seria si hubiera touhou pero en cumbias o en merengues o en salsas, etc. De que hize un tinku aqui es mas porque tambien me gusta bastante el genero al igual que otros parecidos asi como el huaynito o el san juanito
