As somebody who delivers mechanical beds, Tempurpedic mattresses, electric recliners and other heavy furniture to peoples houses I can respect your UPS driver. Also, I never thought I'd be so excited to see something being unwrapped after the day I had. Moved roughly 2600lbs of stuff today. Needless to say, there's a 5lb grass fed beef meatloaf in the oven. And boy, does Shaw look INSANE. Super glad that endless rope attachment had some real resistance to it. I was afraid he'd be yanking on it in the 4th setting like it was nothing. I'm also from a town very near where Paul Anderson lived and have known about him, his feats of strength and his equipment for at least a decade. So freaking awesome he has replica plates. Seeing Brians delight, on top of heavy tippage for todays extra heavy work, has turned my day into a GREAT day.

Very interesting Video, the new plates look awesome. Especially the rough texture on the inside (i guess they are powdercoated) makes them look really heavy duty. I recently purchased my first set (70kg --> 2x dumbbells, 1x barbell, 1x curlbar, weights) and some rubberbands and the training makes a lot of fun! So thank you for the motivation!!
The torque tank and the endless rope trainer are the two pieces of equipment I most miss from my gym before the pandemic hit. Absolutely loved using them both.

The continuous resistance rope would be great if you could easily reposition it so you could do things like have it mounted as you have it now so you can do a vertical pull down or have it mounted low on a wall so you can pull it towards you while sitting down or maybe even on the floor where you could pull it up towards yourself. get a nice work out from all directions. Plus i see huge potential in triceps super sets. I can feel the burn just thinking about it
I've actually have been looking at these on rogue's site for a while, but of course out of stock. I'm glad you got a stock in brian and showed them to us. would love to have them in my home gym some day

Not sure if Brian remembers but he posted a hub lift challenge a few years ago. If I recall he did a deep dish 45 plus 15 pounds. So 60 pounds total. The hub lift is my specialty and my PR is 75lbs. Anyway, these Rogue plates are AWESOME. I need to get a set of he 45's asap! Awesome stuff Brian! 💪🏻
Hell yeah. It's basically a chain fall like used in industrial maintenance industry. You will never get anything that gives a harder work out. Grab you a knee bench an do it while sitting down. Unbelievable work out. I would add a 2nd rope unit an pull one for each hand.

i just got my first barbell with a pair of 45s and a pair of 25s, all used, and i can really relate to how exited Brian must be to get those plates. its a great feelling to get new and useful equipment :)

I ordered close to 1k pounds of new equipment including a power rack, adjustable bench, barbell, plates and accessories. It was on a loooong pallet and the ups guy used his imagination to get it down the freight truck. He was sweating and couldn't get it up my driveway. I had to lug everything up piece by piece. I was so excited that I didn't care 😀

My first thought was "this thing is only good for one thing and that would be training for the arm over arm event in strongman". And now brian has one lol you would just need to figure out a way to make the rope horizontal instead of vertical
